Chapter 560: A Good Sleep

One hour later, several military choppers flew above the Lin’an city base. When the guards saw the Lin’an city base’s emblem on the tail cone, one of them quickly informed Wen Hanli.

A few minutes later, the military choppers landed in the area near the south gate of the fourth wall. After turning off the engine, Zhang Yuan came out and saw a group of guards walking over.

Seeing the familiar face, Wang He smiled and greeted him, “Vice Captain Zhang, you are finally back.”

Zhang Yuan returned his salute and replied, “We still have to go back and evacuate the rest of the survivors. I will have to trouble Sergeant Wang to arrange these people.”

When he heard this, Wang He took a glance at the survivors who came out of the military chopper before asking, “Vice Captain Zhang, are these people from Zhuji city?”

Shaking his head, Zhang Yuan explained, “We had something urgent come up and went to Pingjiang city. We saw them trapped in the government office, so we rescued them.”

Hearing this, Wang He asked, “Vice Captain Zhang, do you need any help?”

“No need, my team can handle this matter. Just send our members to the infirmary.”

After he said this, Zhang Yuan went to Yuan Ruiyue’s side and said, “Ruiyue, there will be someone taking you and your team members to the infirmary. You can trust them.”

Then, he took out a card and a key from his wallet and handed them to him. “This is my point card and the key to my house. Feel free to use my card. Before we come back, just stay at my place.”

Yuan Ruiyue accepted the card and the key. He looked at the key and saw a small metal plate where an address was printed. He nodded and replied, “Thank you.”

Zhang Yuan reached out to pat his shoulder and said, “Let’s talk when I’m back. I’m leaving now.”

Knowing that he still had things to do, Yuan Ruiyue didn’t hold him back and followed Wang He and the guards to the tent near the entrance.

While he underwent an inspection, Zhang Yuan had already left with Yin Yusheng and Pei Yixie. After he was checked, Wang He said, “Comrade, please come with me.”

Since Zhang Yuan had already said that this person could be trusted, he nodded and climbed into the car. Wang He drove him and his members to the infirmary in the third ring area.

After he dropped them off, he handed him a book and said, “Comrade, this is the Lin’an city base’s regulation book. There is also a map of our base. You can take a look.”

“Thank you,” Yuan Ruiyue said as he took the book and nodded.

Before he arrived, Jiang Lixin had already received a call from Wen Hanli. So the moment they came, she had been waiting for them.

When she saw their pale faces, she didn’t waste time on unnecessary chit-chat. She ordered the nurses to clean up their wounds.

Lying on the bed, Yuan Ruiyue stared at the ceiling and closed his eyes. After so many years, he was finally able to have a good sleep.
