Capítulo 666: Peak Worlds Part 1
Reign tilted his head and smiled.
“Delicious,” he whispered. “But not enough.”
Below, Kang’s voice howled again. “YOU MONSTER! YOU TOOK EVERYTHING FROM ME!”
Reign chuckled, slowly descending from orbit. “Not yet. But I will. And really—calling me a monster? That’s kind of ironic, don’t you think?”
“You’re the one who destroyed your world. If we’re talking damage, I’ll take credit for maybe 1%. The other 99%? That’s all you.”
A dozen massive tendrils shot into the sky. They moved faster this time.
But Reign didn’t dodge.
He opened his arms wide and let the vines hit him.
BOOM!
Each tendril slammed into him with the force of a meteor.
But when the dust cleared… Reign still hovered in place.
Not a scratch.
He yawned, rubbing one eye like a sleepy child. “That was adorable.”
More tendrils shot out—spiked ones, coiled ones, blades sharper than wind—but he just stayed in place.
“Time to end this. I gave you a chance to redeem yourself, but you’re all size and no substance.”
He clapped his hands together.
The sound echoed across the planet like a gong, and suddenly gravity shifted.
Everything was pulled upward. Even air began to thin as the atmosphere tore open.
And as the vines gave way, Reign dove straight toward the core.
Wind and debris howled around him, but he didn’t slow down.
Not even the vines could stop him—he passed through them like they were made of jelly.
They whipped and flailed, but his body tore through them without effort, leaving shredded trails behind as he dove.
Sensing the danger, Kang tried to move his core deeper underground.
But the gravitational pull had locked onto it—dragging it upward instead.
No matter how hard it fought, the core kept rising… leaving it completely exposed.
“This is how easy you are to kill.”
CRACK!
Reign’s fist slammed into the core—shattering it like brittle glass.
All the power exploded outward in a blinding wave—but Reign stood at the center, calmly absorbing it all.
He inhaled deeply, drawing in the energy like a black hole. It was a flood of pure power, enough to match an entire planet’s reserve.
When it was over, his reserves had expanded to an entirely new level.
But that wasn’t all—he also gained a flood of new skills.
It turned out that because Kang was created from his own essence, Reign was able to reabsorb everything Kang had consumed.
What should’ve been a boring battle became a blessing. An unexpected jackpot of power.
“So… what now?” Reign looked around the desolate space.
The debris from the shattered planet had started drifting back together, pulled by gravity.
Given a few billion years, it would be round again. Life would crawl back. Thrive. The cycle would start anew.
As Reign floated in space, thinking about which planet to destroy next, a rip opened in space.
It was Re.
But instead of wearing a normal clothing, he was dressed in a fast food uniform.
It was white and red, with a silly paper hat on his head. There was even a smiling chicken logo on his shirt.
Reign stared. “This annoying bastard again.”
Re floated closer, holding a drink in one hand and a greasy bag of food in the other.
“What are you doing here?. Weren’t you supposed to enjoy life and wait for me to take down the Void Being?”
Re took a loud sip from his drink and shrugged.
(Yeah, but you’re too slow. The last world I was in? That thing destroyed it. So I had to relocate. This uniform’s just a souvenir. Oh—and I picked up Wick.)
Reign’s eyes narrowed.
Sitting on Re’s shoulder was a tiny dog, no bigger than a fist. Its head wobbled side to side like it couldn’t stop moving.
It seemed Re’s power to bend reality was even stronger than before.
“RAW!” Wick barked, wagging its tiny tail as it looked at Reign. It had recognized its true owner.
Reign raised his hand slowly. “Give Wick to me. I want my dog back.”
(Tsk, tsk,) Re shook his head. (There’s no way I’m giving Wick to you. You’re a total psychopath. The chance of you eating this dog is like… 99%. You don’t even feel guilt.)
“Bullshit. We all don’t have guilt!” Reign sneered, his voice full of contempt.
Re sighed. (That might be true, but you’re like… the extreme negative. So I’ll keep the dog with me. I can give Wick a better life.)
(Unlike you, I don’t need to destroy worlds just to get stronger. So hurry up already—get strong, and let’s go deal with that annoying thing.)
SWOOOSH!
Reign moved. In an instant, he activated his time-stop ability. Everything froze and lost it’s color.
If there was one shortcut to power, it was this—devouring his meta-human self.
“Got you, fucker!” He reached out and grabbed Re’s face.
But the moment he touched him, Re’s body collapsed like dust.
Reign stood alone in the silent emptiness of space.
Then, a voice echoed all around him.
(I’m not dumb enough to face you with my real body. Not when I know how crazy you are.)
(Just go get stronger. I’ll give you one year. I’ll hold off the Void Being for as long as I can. So instead of trying to kill me… use that time to gain more power.)
Just hearing that easygoing tone made Reign clench his teeth in anger. But deep down, he knew his meta-human self was right.
Reluctantly, Reign pulled out his portable teleporter. With a deep breath, he selected his next destination.
This time, he wasn’t going to waste time with weak worlds.
He picked a stronger one—a world so powerful that even he would have a hard time destroying it.
As the teleporter hummed and activated, a swirling portal opened before him. Reign stepped through , exited to see what kind of opponents he would faced.
The moment he arrived, he felt the difference.
Energy was so dense that it felt like walking through invisible walls.
Lightning flashed in the skies, but not from storms. It came from battles between powerful beings.
“Did I just show up in a battlefield?”
Reign muttered, looking around as thunder boomed above him and beams of light crashed across the horizon.
Then, a shadow fell over him.
He looked up.
Descending from the sky was a figure—tall, glowing, and wrapped in golden armor that shimmered with symbols of the sun.
His long hair floated behind him like flames, and his eyes burned like twin stars.
“Who dares cross into the Bastial War Zone uninvited?” the god’s voice thundered across the valley like a storm tearing through the sky. “None may enter without answering the gods.”
“Bastial War Zone, huh?. Sounds like the kind of place where I’ll find some real fun.”
The god’s eyes narrowed. “You mock the battlefield of gods?”
“Oh, calling yourself a god in front of me? That’s hilarious.” Reign smirked, raising his hand in a lazy gesture. “How about you stop talking and—”
BOOM!
Before he could even finish his sentence, he vanished from the spot—sent flying at insane speed.
One second he was standing confidently, the next he was a blur streaking across the sky, crashing through hills, forests, and cliffs like a skipping stone on water.
He finally smashed into the side of a mountain, tearing straight through it before tumbling into a valley.
Reign groaned, half-buried under a pile of rocks. “…Okay… That hurt a bit.”
