Capítulo 660: Godlike Master Part 11

The wind shifted as he stepped past the shattered trees.

Smoke still lingered in the air from the last clash, but did not care at all.

He reached a clearing where the energy was denser.

To his surprise, the battle had already ended, and the city lay in ruins.

Weirdly enough, no corpses remained in the area, and his summons were nowhere to be found.

They didn’t return to him, which meant their essence were completely annihilated.

It was surprising, since only a few people could do that. Like Lucifer with his black flames.

A figure that gave off heavy negative energy stood in the center.

It was Kang, or at least what was left of him.

Twelve feet tall. His skin had changed—no longer flesh, but a mass of tightly coiled black vines, layered like muscle.

They twitched with every breath. His face looked almost human, but too smooth, too perfect—like bark stretched over bone.

And his eyes… deep red, glowing faintly behind a veil of spiraling roots.

Reign raised a brow. “You look different.”

“You did this to me…” Kang growled, his voice husky and crazed.

“Yep. All me. You’re welcome.”

BOOOOM!

Kang’s aura burst out in a violent wave. Colors twisted together—green, black, and red—writhing like living flames around him.

The ground cracked under the pressure as the air grew thick with his rage.

***********

His gaze locked on Reign—and without warning, he moved.

Fast.

Almost too fast for something so large

His clawed hand shot out like a spear, aimed straight for his master’s chest.

Reign blocked it with one arm, and the shock traveled through his body like a wave. The trees behind him didn’t stand a chance. They snapped and split apart, some torn from the roots, others reduced to splinters from the sheer force that passed through him.

“That was new,” he said, flexing his hand. “Almost tickled.”

Kang followed up with a series of deadly strikes—hands shaped like blades, each swing was fatal.

Reign blocked everything.

Fist met arm. Claw scraped against skin. The ground cracked under them again and again, but Reign just absorbed the pressure.

If it had been anyone else, their insides would’ve been torn apart on the spot. Kang’s strike carried more than just force—it dragged spirit energy inward, ripping at the core.

But Reign was made mostly of energy now, held together by sheer will and power. The effect barely reached him—just a mild sting under the surface.

BOOOOM!

Another punch landed.

“That it?” he muttered. “Felt like a mosquito bite ”

BOOOOM!

Another strike came. The impact sent a shockwave rippling outward. Trees snapped clean off their roots. Dust shot into the sky. Birds scattered for miles. Even far-off mountains felt the tremor.

Villagers kilometers away looked up, startled by the sudden pulse that rolled through the ground like an earthquake.

Reign’s feet skidded back this time—deep trenches tearing into the dirt beneath him.

His arm trembled slightly. Not from pain. From pressure.

“Alright. That one actually had some weight.”

He flexed his fingers, shaking off the leftover energy, and stared at the cracked ground behind him. “But you still don’t get it,”

“I’ve taken hits from creatures that melt continents. You’re not there yet.”

Kang’s chest heaved. Vines pulsed along his arms, twitching like they wanted to strike again.

Reign raised a hand and tapped his own chest. “Right here. Make it count this time. Or at least try not to embarrass both of us.”

Kang took a step forward.

Reign chuckled under his breath. “There it is. You’re angry now. Good. Maybe you’ll finally stop pretending to be a monster and actually become one like me.”

“ARGGGG” Kang roared.

The vines wrapped around his limbs began to unravel—not breaking apart, but flowing downward. They spread like roots across the battlefield, sliding over dirt.

They reached the corpses nearby. And began to feed.

Vines punctured bone, wrapped around limbs, and drained what little spirit energy remained.

Reign narrowed his eyes. ‘This isn’t my doing,’

The roots feeding on the dead grew thicker. Faster. They pulsed with red energy, then merged back into Kang’s legs, carrying power straight into his core.

‘You gotta be kidding me .I actually created a being close to me’

Reign tilted his head slightly, as if looking at a strange animal in a cage.

‘I wonder If I let him devour this world… would he reach my level?’

The thought lingered.

Not as a joke.

But as a real question.

Kang began to morphed again. The vines on his scalp flowed upward, forming a mane of wild, twisting strands.

SWOOOSH!

A mass of black vines exploded from the ground .

They didn’t strike—they wrapped. Twisting around his arms, legs, and torso in a blink. Dozens more burst from the dirt like snakes, each one pulsing with red light.

Reign grinned at first. “Seriously? Vines?”

But his smile dropped the moment he felt the vines draining his energy.

The vines glowed brighter, feeding Kang in real time.

“Copying the master’s move, huh?” He ripped free, but they kept coming.

Reign finally took to the sky, forced to retreat as the vines kept spreading.

They devoured everything—trees, animals, even the soil—leaving the land cracked and dry.

‘Well, well… I really did create a monster.’ He chuckled, proud of his achievement.

“But it’s not enough. I’ll feed you more because I’m a generous master.”

Black and red particles burst into the air, raining down like ash.

Below, the vines twitched, reacting wildly—like starving beasts sensing fresh meat.

Their growth surged. They stretched for a few kilometers, covering the land in a living web.

“Oh, I’ve got a great idea.”

He took off, leaking just enough energy to draw Kang’s attention.

The mass of black vines followed—chasing him while still spreading across the land.

This turn of events didn’t escape the Alliance, but there was nothing they could do.

Reign alone was already too much. Now, he had a monster that kept growing without pause.

They cleared out the cities in its path and stacked formations one after another. Traps, barriers, weapons—everything was set for the final battle. There was no backup plan. They would throw everything they had at it.

Even the Beast Empire sent their strongest fighter. They knew if left unchecked, Kang could grow large enough to swallow the world.

From miles away, massive tendrils could be seen creeping toward the central plains.

“Prepare the formation!” a Spirit Saint shouted.

Kneeling, he placed his hand on the ground.

All around him, tens of thousands of spirit users did the same, their silence heavier than words.

In unison, they poured their spirit energy into the soil.
