Capítulo 2014: The Devils VS Alliance of The Brave [Part 1]

Villain Ch 2014. The Devils VS Alliance of The Brave [Part 1]

Allen stood in front of it like he belonged there. Not just as a player. But as something older. Bigger. Inevitable.

His harem flanked him like seven omens, floating, hovering, shifting with casual lethality.

On the opposite side, the Alliance of the Brave or whatever name chat would meme them into… stood in a janky semi-circle.

Ten players.

Still blinking at the sheer ridiculousness of what they were about to fight.

“Okay,” Red exhaled. “Okay. I am going to faint.”

“Please don’t faint,” Elio muttered beside him.

“No, seriously.” Red’s voice cracked. “I can feel my soul wanting to run. I’ve never fought him like this before. This feels like heresy.”

Alex stood beside Red, gripping his staff. His knees looked… wobbly. “I-I’ll try to give my best.”

Mastercraft narrowed his eyes. “Why are you stammering?”

Alex’s voice came out sharp and high-pitched. “It’s the Devil Emperor. C-can’t be helped!”

Red nodded quickly. “That makes it worse. Now we know it’s Allen. Allen! The Allen who cooked the monster’s heart like nothing. The one who killed almost fifty high level players in PVP fields. And when we did team up with him for that ghostly mansion raid, what did he do?”

“Acted like a psychopath,” Mastercraft said grimly.

“A pro-level psychopath!” Red cried.

“Shut up,” Jacob muttered, adjusting his gloves. “You guys are making it worse.”

“It’s already worse!” Kain shouted from the back. “Have you seen that aura?!”

And the announcer’s voice thundered overhead, sharp, bright, dramatic.

“To all our players and audience, rest assured! The system has calibrated both sides to ensure fair gameplay. Level stats, buffs, and resistances are balanced for this exhibition match. May the best team win!”

[Countdown Initiated.]

[Match Duration: 10 Minutes.]

[…3 …2 …1 Begin!]

Allen used his skills.

[Devil Emperor Allen has activated Demonic Aura.]

[Your attack and defense have increased by 250%.]

[You have decreased enemies’ attack and defense by 50% within a 10-meter radius.]

[Duration: 15 Minutes.]

“…fair,” Elio muttered dryly. “Right.”

Allen didn’t speak.

He simply raised one hand.

And snapped.

The battlefield exploded.

The entire left flank lit up in purple fire as Hellfire Rain came down like a divine punishment.

The ground cracked under Abyss Shatter, the earth screaming as jagged energy slammed through it and sent Kain and Gil flying.

Demonic Orbs erupted from Allen’s back, homing toward their DPS.

“MOVE!” Elio roared, activating his shield. “DEFENSE FORMATION!”

Jacob cast Mana Shield while countering with Void Chain, but Allen blurred.

[Void Mirage.]

His body flickered, then split into two, one charging forward, the other disappearing into shadow. Gil leapt at the clone…

“DON’T TOUCH IT!”

Too late.

The moment Gil’s dagger struck, it exploded. The clone detonated in a violent pulse of black flames, sending Gil tumbling with 40% HP gone.

“That wasn’t even HIM!” Gil shouted.

Allen appeared behind him, just a whisper of motion.

[Telekinesis Blast.]

Gil was launched across the map like a ragdoll.

Jacob screamed a counter, hands flying as he triggered Flame Arc, but Jane raised one finger…

[Dispell.]

The spell dispersed.

Dispersed.

Not blocked.

Not resisted.

Just deleted.

“HOW?!” Jacob snapped. “That’s a max-level AoE!”

Sachi desperately spammed Group buffs, golden light erupting beneath them as Red charged forward.

“Focus the boss!” Red yelled. “Elio and I will tank him. Kain, Lance, DPS to zone!”

They tried.

Oh, they tried.

Kain vanished into stealth, attempting a backstab.

Allen didn’t even turn.

[Stone Curse.]

Kain froze in midair.

Fell.

Hit the ground with a hard crunch.

Zoe raised her tentacles from the magma pool. Tsunami and Depths’ Grasp hit the field. Bella followed with Ice Storm, Larissa with Bat Swarm.

And Allen?

He just walked.

Casual.

Untouched.

Untouchable.

Alex watched the battlefield unravel. Red was doing his best to slash through the waves of magic. Eren blurred through fire and shadow, trying to land a hit. Elio grunted as a Blood Spear from Larissa tore across his shoulder.

“Buffs!” Elio called out. “ALEX! SACCHI! BUFFS!”

“On it!” Alex cried.

[Protection.]

[Holy Regeneration.]

[Sanctified Barrier.]

He kept whispering the names like prayers.

But even then… none of it reached Allen.

Every time Alex’s spell should have landed, something around Allen’s body shimmered.

“Why… why isn’t he taking anything?” Sachi whispered.

“Because we’re not inside the radius,” Jacob said grimly. “It’s his aura. His passive. We have to get closer to weaken him.”

“Oh great,” Mastercraft muttered, hammer out. “We die faster closer.”

“Then don’t get hit!” Elio barked.

He raised his shield again, eyes narrowing. Sweat dripped down his cheek, but he wasn’t smiling.

Not anymore.

Allen stood in the lava mist. His cloak moved like it was alive. His demonesses hovered behind him, each smiling.

Waiting.

Watching.

Allen raised his hand again.

One word.

“Abyssal Descent.”

And the sky fell.

Literally.

Darkness ruptured above them, splitting open like the mouth of a god ready to devour. Abyssal meteors surged down, trailing screaming voidfire behind them, each one larger than a player’s full body. When they struck, they didn’t just explode, they howled, shredding buffs, debuffs, barriers, and confidence alike. HP bars dipped.

Allen stood at the epicenter of it all, untouched, cloak rising with the storm. His eyes gleamed under the twisted red aurora dancing above them, and his smile was no longer amused.

It was hungry.

Elio didn’t hesitate.

He charged.

His boots crushed molten stone as he surged through the inferno, Sachi behind him, eyes locked, staff glowing as she cast Blessing of Fortitude on repeat. Every footfall Elio took cost her another drop of mana, just to keep him alive through Allen’s passive aura.

[You have entered the radius of the Demonic Aura.]

[Your ATK and DEF have decreased by 50%.]

Elio felt it instantly. The weight. Like running straight into a storm wall with a sword in his hands.

Allen didn’t move. Not until Elio was close.

Then he raised one hand lazily.

[Telekinesis Blast.]

Elio blocked, barely, but was thrown backward five meters anyway, metal screeching. Before he hit the ground, Allen was already there.

[Void Mirage.]

He flickered forward, image splitting, too fast to track. Sachi screamed and cast Barrier.

It shattered instantly. Not even a crack. Just dust.
