Capítulo 2013: Reality and Fantasy

Villain Ch 2013. Reality and Fantasy

The world had gone feral behind them, cheers, chants, camera shutters clicking like machine guns, but none of it touched that moment. Just two men standing in the center of a storm they’d both created. One breathing fire, the other ready to drown it in defiance.

Then the girls reached Allen.

Seven women, all in esports jackets. All real. All impossibly beautiful. The villains. The monsters. The final bosses the entire server had sworn were too perfectly programmed to be human.

Now walking with hips, legs, and devilish smirks that said they knew exactly how many sleepless nights they’d caused.

And they stopped behind Allen like war goddesses answering a silent summon.

The crowd? Lost it again.

“I WAS RAISED WRONG!”

“I WANT TO BE DRAINED BY NEFARIS!”

“THEY’RE REAL?! I THOUGHT THOSE WERE AI MODELS!”

“PLEASE, JUST ONE OF THEM. I WILL COOK. I WILL CLEAN.”

“ABYSSIA MARRY ME!”

“SEDUCE ME GRIMORA AND LEAVE ME TO ROT I DON’T CARE.”

“I’M GONNA SELL MY SOUL FOR A CHANCE AT LILIETH’S DM!”

Someone screamed, then wept. Another guy literally passed out. EMTs were running.

But Allen? He didn’t even flinch.

He glanced at the chaos once, like a man watching stock prices shift, and then turned back to Elio.

“Eight versus five,” Allen said simply. His voice was calm. Amused. Almost pitying. “I think it’s suicide.”

Gil nodded so fast it looked like his neck was about to snap. “It is suicide!”

Elio didn’t blink. “We still need to try.”

Jacob exhaled like he was about to jump off a cliff. “You know this doesn’t affect the title, right? We already won.”

“Exactly,” Sachi said, stepping beside Elio. Her voice was soft but steady. “We won. No matter what happens now… nothing changes that.”

“Then why the hell are we doing this?” Eren muttered, half in awe, half in disbelief. “Do you see what we’re up against? They have a literal Kraken queen!”

Jacob tilted his head toward Elio. “Because we see Elio’s eyes. And yeah… that’s not the look of a guy who just wants to win a tournament. That’s the look of someone who wants to beat the Devil Emperor.”

Elio didn’t deny it. He didn’t have to. The fire in his gaze said everything.

Allen tilted his head, amused.

Then turned.

His eyes scanned the stadium slowly, like a lion checking which part of the herd would try to be brave, and landed on the opposite stage.

“Oh?” he said, voice smooth as silk. “Then I guess…” his smile curled, sharp enough to draw blood, “you can join them too. Red.”

The entire arena froze.

Because Allen Goldborne had just summoned another rival…

And invited him to fight against the Devil Emperor himself.

A ripple of confusion swept across the stadium.

Red, Alex, and Mastercraft were already on their feet near the team benches. Stunned. Breathless. Barely recovered from the revelation that the Devil Emperor was Allen Goldborne… the same man who had stood inches from them in the gym and laughed with them like he wasn’t also Azazel.

Red blinked like he’d just heard an invitation to walk into hell wearing gasoline.

Alex? Looked like his brain was buffering.

Mastercraft stared at Allen like a trader watching a red candle tank his entire crypto portfolio. “Oh my god. That’s why your movement felt familiar… I didn’t even know it was you!”

Red turned to Elio.

“You mind?” he asked, voice low but solid.

Elio gave the smallest nod. “No. I don’t mind.”

The announcer’s mic clicked, voice coming in like a bomb.

“Well, folks… what a twist! Celestial Vanguard is joining the fight against the Devil Emperor and his elite! That’s TEN versus EIGHT!”

The crowd howled.

More pods rose from the ground. Black chrome and blood-red lights.

Eight of them.

Red inhaled. “Guess we’re doing this.”

Allen raised an eyebrow at the rising pods. “Ten against eight?” he echoed, glancing sidelong at Elio. “You sure you want to stack the odds that much in your favor?”

Elio stared. “You okay with that… Emperor?”

Allen smirked. “I’m used to my team versus the whole server.”

And just like that, they stepped into their pods.

One by one.

The hiss of sealed mechanisms. The flicker of screens syncing with profiles.

And then…

The avatars appeared in the dome.

First came Elio, Red, Jacob, Gil, Eren, Sachi, Alex, Mastercraft, and the two Celestial DPS, fully armored and glowing with buffs.

And then came them.

Allen dropped from the sky like a meteor of shadow and gold, cloak billowing, horns gleaming, black wings unfolding. His eyes burned like suns about to go nova. His health bar? Maxed.

The name above his head.

AZAZEL

Then the demonesses descended around him.

Lullaby hovered, her harp glowing, siren feathers already extended like blade-fans across her back.

Abyssia glided in with a roar of water, Kraken tentacles trailing behind her like sea serpents.

Eira landed in a burst of wind and crackling ice, nine shimmering tails flaring around her.

Nefaris appeared in a cloud of bats, her vampire armor dripping blood that hissed into steam as it hit the floor.

Selena materialized from a pool of shadows, her staff swirling with runes and a broken mirror chained to her back.

Grimora rose from a pit of bones, necrotic wind swirling around her, pale hands reaching from the floor.

And Lilieth? She didn’t walk. She floated, legs crossed, whip in hand, a trail of pink and violet sigils glowing beneath her, pupils slitted, smile sinful.

The stage changed with them.

The polished marble dome twisted, cracked, and bled magma.

[Environment Change: Throne of the Cursed Crypts]

The floor split open in veins of molten rock.

Obsidian pillars rose with chained corpses screaming.

The air turned thick, hot, unholy.

And behind them, at the center, a massive throne carved of bone and ash stood waiting.

The Devil Emperor’s throne.

The audience gasped.

The illusion of the game world had shattered.

This wasn’t a simulation anymore.

This was real.

Reality and fantasy had finally blurred.
