Villain Ch 2009. King VS King [Part 1]
Gil swore violently under his breath, “He bought you two seconds.”
“That’s enough.”
Elio lunged.
Jacob spun around with a snarl. “I’ll slow the blacksmith.”
“No. I’ll do it. You handle the priest.”
Jacob’s grin sharpened. “Gladly.”
Gil vanished again. Shadows rippled. He shot like a ghost across the floor, reappearing behind one of the Celestial DPS, Lance, a fast rogue.
Gil’s daggers sank in deep.
[Backstab. Poison Applied.]
Lance staggered.
Gil grinned.
“You’re not fast enough.”
[Double Fang.]
Lance tried to block.
Failed.
[Gil Killed Lance.]
But as Gil turned…
A sword of golden light pierced his chest.
Red had thrown it.
Straight through the shadows. Straight through him.
Gil gasped. Blood leaked from his mouth, eyes wide.
“No fair,” he whispered.
[Red_King Killed Gil.]
Two left.
Elio and Jacob.
Against three.
Alex. Red. And Mastercraft, who was dragging his hammer like a man ready to die on the battlefield.
Jacob didn’t flinch.
He planted his feet and raised his staff.
Alex saw him. Their eyes locked.
Jacob’s voice was quiet. “You’re the last wall, aren’t you?”
Alex didn’t reply. He just raised his staff in return. His hands trembled slightly, mana bar pulsing at the bottom.
Jacob smirked.
“Then fall with grace.”
[Void Lock.]
Magic snapped.
Reality bent.
Chains of violet-black runes curled around Alex’s legs, locking him in place.
He tried to move. Failed.
Jacob spun his staff overhead, wind shrieking around him.
[Meteor Rain – Channeling…]
Alex gritted his teeth. “Come on…”
[Barrier! Protection!]
[Skills failed! Insufficient Mana!]
“Oh no…”
The sky cracked open.
And the meteors fell.
[INeedAHotGF Killed Father^Alex.]
Jacob dropped to one knee. Breathing heavy. His hair clung to his face. That spell drained him. Hard. But it was worth it.
“I got him,” he panted.
But… Mastercraft moved first. Too fast.
Jacob looked up, saw the hammer descending…
And smiled bitterly. “Guess it’s my turn.” He already spent all his Mana. No more left…
[Mastercraft Killed INeedAHotGF.]
Elio didn’t wait.
He moved, closing the distance between him and Mastercraft with a desperate roar.
Mastercraft turned, already swinging his hammer, but Elio ducked under it. Sparks flew as the weapon skimmed his shoulder. The force sent pain up his arm, but he gritted his teeth and slashed upward.
[Light Pierce – Weak Point Hit.]
The tip of Elio’s blade caught the exposed seam of Mastercraft’s armor just beneath his ribs.
“Your forge ends here!” Elio snarled.
Mastercraft reeled, coughing, trying to summon another barrier, but Elio stepped in again, shoulder-checking him, throwing him off balance.
[Divine Combo – Final Hit.]
The blade drove in deep.
Mastercraft let out a grunt… not fear, just frustration.
[Mac Killed Mastercraft.]
Elio dropped to one knee, panting, his health bar blinking an angry red.
Two players remained.
Red.
Elio.
The arena knew it.
Every light above the battlefield dimmed, focusing a single, white-hot beam on the two avatars still standing, battered, bloodied, but unbroken. The rest of the stadium blurred into darkness, the crowd a sea of noise that didn’t fade, it sharpened. Screams cut like blades, chants rising in rhythm with the echoing clang of steel boots over cracked stone.
[Time Remaining: 1:05]
They stood across from each other.
Armor cracked. Shoulders hunched. Weapons worn. Their breath came hard, harsh, ragged. Each inhale tasted like rust and fire.
Elio’s blade trembled in his grip, slick with blood, his or someone else’s, he couldn’t tell anymore. Red’s armor steamed from the last impact, smoke curling off the plates, heat radiating in waves from the points where light magic had scorched through.
They didn’t speak.
They couldn’t speak.
They just moved.
Red charged first, faster than expected. His sword was massive, heavy, swinging down with a roar.
Elio met it with a deflection, steel screaming against steel. The force jarred his entire body, nearly dropped him to a knee again, but he held.
They broke.
Elio struck first this time.
A quick feint left, then a sharp upward slash.
[Light Slash].
Red blocked. Mostly.
Red_King HP: 32%
Red’s snarl echoed, low and furious.
He spun on his heel and countered with a brutal horizontal strike. Elio ducked, but the edge still clipped his side, searing pain tore through his abdomen.
Mac HP: 19%
Elio staggered, teeth clenched, blood running down his arm and dripping from his fingertips. His leg buckled for half a step, the paralyze debuff slowing his muscles, but not his resolve. His fingers tightened around the hilt of his blade. Still standing.
Somehow.
Red stared at him, chest heaving. His eyes burned, furious, not just with the fight, but with something deeper. Something older.
“You’re not better than me,” Red growled. “You couldn’t keep up.”
Elio exhaled shakily, the taste of iron thick on his tongue. His heart thundered in his ears. He didn’t have time to argue. So he didn’t.
“I’m not who I was.”
He raised his sword.
And it glowed.
White. Pure. Holy.
A final charge of divine light, burning through his weapon like a last prayer.
Red’s eyes widened as he recognized the glow.
“You’ll die too.”
Elio’s lips twitched in a bitter smile. “I don’t care.”
And he charged.
No hesitation.
No second thoughts.
Just will.
Red stepped forward, tried to raise his blade, but Elio moved faster. Not with elegance. Not with precision. With everything.
All his weight.
All his strength.
All his fury.
They both knew.
This was it.
No more backup. No more heals. No more second chances.
Just two broken titans at the end of the world.
Red’s sword flared with dark crimson fire. Runes etched in blood across the blade pulsed alive for the final time.
[Knight Ultimate – Dominion Breaker Activated.]
Elio’s blade responded with holy radiance, burning so bright it nearly blinded the screen.
[Paladin Ultimate – Heaven Judgment Activated.]
Steel met steel.
Skills met skills.
The collision was apocalyptic.
Light and darkness exploded in the center of the arena like a miniature sun being torn in half. A shockwave ripped outward, blowing the cracked floor into pieces and scattering debris. The sound was deafening, like a thousand cannons firing at once.
