Capítulo 2008: Final Match [Part 2]
Villain Ch 2008. Final Match [Part 2]
Their blades clashed again and again.
Sweat dripped down Elio’s jaw. His muscles screamed. But he didn’t yield.
Because he had to stop Red. He had to prove something. Not just to the world. To himself.
He wasn’t that guy anymore.
He wasn’t the player who cracked under pressure.
He was better now.
He had to be.
Red pushed again.
Elio blocked again.
And this time? He pushed back.
[Divine Retribution.]
Light exploded between them. Red was sent flying backward. Skidding, armor smoking.
Elio exhaled hard, sword low, eyes locked.
But even then, he didn’t look triumphant.
Just focused.
Alex spun on the spot. His mana bar dipped again, but he didn’t flinch. One heal here. One buff there.
[Healing Light. Agility. Holy Blessing. Protection.]
[Your Speed has increased by 120%]
[Your Defense has increased by 150%]
[Your Accuracy, Magic Power, and Strength have increased by 100%]
He moved like an orchestra conductor, hands slicing through the air, words of power murmured between every breath. Healing lines danced from his fingers like threads of fate.
A fireball hit his shield. Another behind him.
[Barrier – Shatter Imminent.]
His health blinked yellow.
Gil came again from the side.
“Not this time,” Alex growled.
[Purge Field.]
Holy energy exploded around him like a supernova, cleansing debuffs, slamming Gil back again.
Gil cursed. “He’s not just a healer! He’s a damn fortress.”
Jacob screamed, “Ignore him, just burn him!”
But they couldn’t.
Because every time they tried to kill Alex…
Red was there.
Mastercraft was there.
The two other DPS were there.
The moment they turned their backs?
They paid for it in blood.
Time passed.
[05:10]
Blood stained the arena.
Gil’s health was down to 40%.
Mastercraft was limping now.
Jacob’s mana bar had turned yellow.
Alex was breathing hard, mana at 12%, fingers trembling from the strain.
Red’s armor was cracked.
Elio’s sword was chipped.
And still…
No one backed down.
Eren roared and crashed into Mastercraft again.
Sachi tried to cast a field heal, but a Celestial’s DPS threw a dagger that broke her focus.
Alex saw it. Knew what came next.
But he had no more mana for a shield.
No more time to warn them.
Jacob lifted his staff.
[Infernal Star – Ultimate Skill.]
The sky opened.
A burning comet spiraled down.
Alex gritted his teeth.
“I’ll take it,” he whispered.
And he did.
He stepped forward quickly.
[Barrier! Protection! Reflex Barrier!]
The impact hit.
Light exploded.
Everything went white.
[Father^Alex – HP Critical. Shield Shattered.]
He dropped to one knee.
Breathing hard.
Alive.
Barely.
And then, Red screamed.
“NOW!”
And struck.
Straight at Sachi.
Straight through.
[Critical Hit!]
[Red_King Killed SilentHealer]
Sachi gasped and fell.
One gone.
Score: 0 – 1
And just like that… Order of Valiance had no healer.
It was over.
It should’ve been over.
But it wasn’t.
Because Elio didn’t flinch.
Didn’t scream.
Didn’t even blink.
He just looked, looked up past the battlefield, up toward the VIP row where Allen sat like a king surveying war.
Allen’s eyes locked with his.
Unblinking. Cold. Curious.
That damn half-smile on his lips like he already knew what came next.
‘What are you gonna do now, Elio? Your healer’s dead.’
The message was silent. But it screamed.
And Elio?
He breathed.
Slow. Deep. Fire catching under his ribs.
“No…” he muttered.
[Time Remaining: 04:00]
Four minutes to rewrite the ending.
He turned back toward the battlefield, armor cracked, blade shaking slightly in his grip. His lungs burned. Every hit from Red echoed in his arms.
But no. He couldn’t lose here. Not like this.
“I’m not done,” Elio muttered.
And neither were the others.
Gil reappeared beside him, panting, a line of blood trailing down his chest.
“She’s gone,” Gil rasped.
“I know.”
“We don’t have heals.”
“I know,” Elio snapped. Then softer, “We just need four minutes. Just hold for four minutes. We can bleed them dry.”
“You think that passive-aggressive priest’s gonna run out of mana?” Jacob hissed, launching a quick arcane bolt at one of the Celestial DPS dancing on the edge.
“He has maybe one big spell left,” Elio said. “After that, it’s cooldowns and prayers.”
Eren grunted, wiping a line of blood from his lip. “So… we just have to survive a little longer, huh?”
“No,” Elio growled. “We don’t survive. We win.”
And with that?
They charged.
And Eren?
He broke away first.
Not to defend.
To hunt.
Speed buffs flared beneath his boots, the arena floor cracking with each burst of movement as he zipped past Elio, past the frontline, toward the weakest gap in Celestial Vanguard’s formation. His eyes locked not on Red, not on Mastercraft, not even on Alex. No. His target was one of their DPS, Kain.
Dead meat.
Kain barely registered the blur coming at him before Eren was already there, sliding low, then flipping up behind him in a blink of motion.
[Flash Reversal.]
Kain’s weapon snapped up instinctively, but Eren ducked again and slashed his thigh open.
Blood streaked the marble floor. Kain hissed and jumped back, trying to reposition for a headshot, but Eren didn’t give him the chance.
He spun once, blades arcing in an X-shape.
[Cross Strike – Critical Hit!]
The impact was brutal.
Kain’s body jerked, glowing lines of code tearing across his chestplate as his HP plummeted. The screen flared above the arena.
[Erenblade Killed Kain.]
Eren landed in a crouch, exhaled, and muttered, “One down.”
But then…
Mastercraft met Eren head-on. The two collided in a wave of brute force and speed. Sparks flew from the impact. Metal screamed. Eren ducked under the hammer swing, pivoted, and slashed upward.
[Cross Strike – Critical Hit!]
Mastercraft reeled. His health dipped.
28%.
He raised a shield just in time to block the follow-up, but Eren was already gone, sliding under the strike, dashing behind him.
“I told you,” Eren growled, “you’re too slow.”
Mastercraft’s eyes burned. “Yeah? And you’re too arrogant.”
[Overheat – Forge Burst!]
-BOOM!
The explosion tore the floor open beneath them. Eren was launched into the air, hit the dome’s invisible ceiling, and came down hard, right into a waiting slam.
[Final Hammer – Execution Range.]
It connected.
Eren’s scream was cut off halfway.
[MasterCraft Killed Erenblade.]
Elio froze for half a second.
“Damn it.”
