When they finally found one, it was already 15 minutes after the rain had started.

After the others checked that the building was really usable, they immediately cleaned up the second floor that they had opened and entered right away.

The entire first floor was also flooded, so they had no choice but to make their own door and enter the second floor, as the fire exit was on the other side.

After everyone entered, the others went to clean up the higher floors as fast as they could.

The building they were in had only six floors and apparently had a low number of zombies, so they immediately cleaned it up.

But the building was obviously an office building, so it was harder for Nina and the others to clean up all the things to make a space for all of them.

So, they prioritized cleaning up all the rooms with bathrooms or close to bathrooms so that everyone could clean themselves first, as most of them were wet because of the rain.

Even though most of them had worn their raincoats after seeing the sky darken further, many were still wet because the rain was already very heavy from the start.

It wasn’t good to be continuously exposed to rainwater, so everyone quickly took a bath before cleaning and arranging the place where they would stay.

Because of the weather, they still chose to stay on the fifth and sixth floors of the building.

When they were finally settled in, Nina and the others also started making their dinner as it was already late.

As for the others who weren’t in charge of cooking, they were all in the lounge or doing something else in their own rooms.

After dinner, they all stayed in the lounge and had their usual meeting.

Yang started the meeting by asking all the water users about how they felt regarding the zombies that came out of the water and attacked them.

“When the first zombie that popped out of the water attacked, I really didn’t feel anything odd. I only felt that something moved and then it already jumped out of the water.

But with the other two zombies that attacked near us afterwards, I could clearly sense them moving for a while before they even came out of the water,” Astrid said.

“It’s the same for me. Even though we were far from each other and dealt with different zombies, my experience is the same. I could clearly sense one of the zombies in the water for a long time before it attacked, but I didn’t sense anything with the other zombie until it was already nearly out of the water,” Samuel added.

The other members with water abilities that encountered zombies near their rafts also shared what they felt.

So, it became obvious that those with water abilities couldn’t properly sense things in the water as long as those things moved fast or had higher levels.

And they also learned that most of the zombies that attacked them were just near the surface, as they were on top of some debris, and that’s why they managed to jump out of the water.

Their abilities in detecting zombies in the water weren’t that good, so Treyton just reminded the others to pay more attention to it later on.

Everyone would of course pay attention to it, as they probably couldn’t sense that much like water users to begin with.

Because of him, he also couldn’t sense that much because of the water interference. He could also only tell that the zombies were present when they weren’t that far from the surface.

Afterwards, they talked more about a few more things before ending their brief meeting.

Most of them were already tired, so after staying a bit at the lounge they all went to rest in their own rooms.

And just like the past rainy days, the rain didn’t stop immediately after it started.

It only stopped raining after five days of continuous rain.

Fortunately, the area they were in was better than the area they had previously stopped by before, as they didn’t encounter rapid water making their own temporary river again.

The water only rose up to half of the second floor and stopped rising even though the rain hadn’t stopped yet.

So at least they managed to stay at the building they were currently in more peacefully than when they stayed at the previous place they had been in.

At least all the other members were able to train and do the things they had to do without being worried that they had to rush out of the building when needed.

But even though they were having a more peaceful time, Luciel still wanted the rain to stop immediately as his planned training to achieve his goal quickly was really getting delayed.

Luciel could only train by sparring with others and by exercising, which was not enough for him.

After sparring with the others for three more days, he finally stopped training with them the whole day and would only spar for two hours every day.

He felt that he couldn’t improve that much by sparring with others any longer, so he stopped and only sparred with them for two hours.

And after his training, he was back to lazing around on the sofa or in their bed.

After the five days of continuous rain, they set out immediately the next day after it stopped raining.

The weather was obviously becoming better as they could already see the sun out.

But just like before, they didn’t wait for the floodwater to dry out, knowing that it would take more time even if the weather was good.

So, they used their rafts again and continued going to their destination.

They traveled using their rafts for four more days before they finally arrived at an elevated place which wasn’t flooded.

After arriving in such a place, all of them were very happy.
