Chapter 371: Chapter 370: Lisa’s birthday 3
After Lisa finished opening the gifts, the kids went to have fun on their own and played in the play area that the others had prepared.
As for the others, they continued chatting and relaxing while watching the kids having fun with the games.
Luciel and Treyton were the same, eating grapes while talking to each other.
“They really did a good job arranging the things here. Where did you guys even get those?” Luciel said while looking at the place where the kids were playing.
“We got those in a mall that we visited before. The mall actually had more, but we didn’t get them because they were too big,” Treyton replied while also looking at the place where the kids were.
“Even those things that were automatically producing edible bubbles?”
“No, those were contributed by Rhet.”
“When we were talking about organizing a birthday party, he was obviously very shocked,” Luciel said and then chuckled.
It was obvious that Rhet had been very shocked when he heard they were organizing a birthday party. When the others were planning it, he didn’t even manage to say anything and just stayed in his seat.
“So, he actually didn’t just stay in his room and managed to contribute something.”
“Yeah, he modified some of those things he invented and made them produce bubbles automatically. I also saw him modifying the robot he used a while ago.”
“The robot he had surely had more practical uses, but he used it to perform because he didn’t want to do it himself.”
The two of them continued chatting about the things in the party before stopping to watch Dan and the others dance again.
They had already heard the others requesting Dan and his friends to perform again.
Dan and his friends also didn’t have any problem performing, so they went in front again.
“I didn’t expect that they were actually very good at dancing,” Luciel commented while watching Dan and the others.
“They were apparently part of the same dance crew since they were in university. And even though they were already working, they would still visit the crew from time to time. That’s why they were that good at dancing.”
“No wonder they could still remember their dance moves properly. Is that also written in the information they gave you?”
“Of course not. I only knew it because of Nathan,” Treyton said and glanced at where Nathan was.
Luciel also followed Treyton’s gaze and saw Nathan with Myla, Camille, and the other members loudly cheering for Dan and the others while also chatting.
Well, with Nathan around, even if it wasn’t written in their information or they hadn’t told them at first, after a few days, weeks, or months, Nathan would manage to know them as long as they weren’t secrets they were consciously hiding.
Dan and his friends were stronger and had better stamina than before the apocalypse, so with the requests of others, they actually managed to dance continuously to eight songs.
In the last three songs, they chose captivating songs with easy moves and invited the others to dance with them.
Nathan and the others who were more active readily moved and pulled the other members to dance.
Nathan even called them, but Luciel was too lazy to move. He just wanted to watch the fun, so he didn’t join. Treyton also wasn’t interested, so he stayed seated with him.
Nathan managed to pull most of the members to join the fun. Fortunately, the space in front and at the center of the second floor was wide enough for all of them to use.
Most of them didn’t bother removing their blazers, and the women were still wearing dresses, so when they followed Dan and the others in their cool dance moves, they looked fun to watch.
With so many of them moving around together, those who were initially shy soon followed along happily, making the scene even livelier. It was clear everyone was enjoying themselves.
The kids in front were also very cute, since most of them couldn’t properly follow Dan and the others’ movements especially when the steps got fast.
They were often one or two beats late, but they still tried hard to keep up, and no one minded.
The members who danced along with Dan and his group were obviously having fun, and those who stayed seated, like Luciel and Treyton, also enjoyed watching them.
Luciel even called Aldo, who had been enjoying his drink, to make sure the cameras they had set up were properly recording the scene.
Aldo seemed to understand that it would be a pity if the lively atmosphere in front of them wasn’t captured, so he had already checked. He immediately replied that everything was working properly.
Satisfied, Luciel just continued watching the others dance.
After three songs together, they finally stopped and returned to chatting with each other.
Afterwards, they played card games, which Luciel and Treyton also joined.
Because of their numbers, they had to use several tables, but the punishment for losing was the same:
The losers of each round would have stickers placed on their faces. And after twenty rounds, whoever had the most stickers on each table would have to do whatever the others ordered later.
Luciel had always been good at playing cards, so he only had one sticker on his face. Treyton had two.
The one who lost at their table was actually Nathan, the very first to invite them to play and who even proposed the punishment.
“I shouldn’t have played with you guys. I know my card skills aren’t that bad. When I play with the others, even if I don’t win, I also don’t end up losing that badly,” Nathan complained.
“Just accept that you weren’t good at playing cards to begin with. You’ve only managed to win against others who weren’t that good, but you’ve never beaten me or Mason no matter how many times you invited us after saying your skills improved,” Treyton said with a smile.
