Chapter 366: Chapter 365: Preparing for Lisa’s Birthday 2
Treyton looked at Lottie and said, “Lottie, you are already a member of the team, so as a member such things would just be considered benefits.
I have already agreed to it, which means that there’s no problem in implementing it.
You have already seen that the team is very wealthy and has a lot of supplies, so you don’t have to worry about the things that will be used in the celebration, as it’s not even a lot.
Besides, all the members would be the ones using and eating those that were prepared, so it isn’t a trouble.
As for the trouble of preparing a birthday party, it’s just a simple preparation and it won’t even cause a lot of time to prepare with the number of people here.
Besides, the others would certainly be happy to have a reason to have more fun. So, you don’t have to think too much about it.”
Lottie paused a bit before saying, “I understand. Thank you very much!”
“Good. Then just continue doing what you’re busy with, and after dinner you and the others can plan for your sister’s birthday party tomorrow.”
“Thank you. I’ll go and continue arranging the rooms upstairs first,” Lottie said, then went back upstairs to continue what she was doing.
After Lottie left, Treyton continued training while Luciel just kept playing.
When it was already near dinner time, everyone stopped what they were doing and gathered in the lounge to wait for the meal.
However, Rhet, who had gone to his room, still hadn’t come out even once since entering—even though he had already been informed about their dinner time.
So, when dinner was ready but Rhet still hadn’t shown up, Derek went to call him.
When Rhet finally came, he immediately apologized to everyone.
“I-I’m sorry! I-I’m sorry for making ev-everyone wait. I-I didn’t know that I-I was also included in having dinner.”
“Don’t worry about it. Just have a seat so we can eat,” Nathan replied with a smile.
Rhet immediately did as Nathan said and chose a seat farther from the center.
After Rhet arrived, Nina and the others began serving dinner.
Even though Rhet had deliberately sat at the corner, he still stood out. Just like when Camille, Dan, and the others first joined them, the way he ate was still noticeably different compared to those already used to their daily meals.
So, even though Rhet probably didn’t want to attract attention, he was still conspicuous because of his eating habits.
But of course, no one pointed it out. They understood, and they probably didn’t want to startle Rhet, who clearly preferred avoiding everyone’s eyes.
So, they all ate peacefully. And at the end of their meal, Treyton reminded everyone that they would be holding a party for Lisa the next day.
Since Sophie had already gone around asking about gifts, no one was surprised. They all readily agreed to help set up the birthday party for Lisa.
But before they started planning, they asked the kids to go play in one of the rooms since they wanted the party to be a surprise for them.
However, the other kids insisted that they also had to prepare their gifts for Lisa. So in the end, they used two rooms near the lounge.
Two kids stayed with Lisa, while another stayed with Theo to prepare their gift.
Theo, of course, was needed because all the materials were stored in his space, so anyone preparing gifts had to stay with him.
Sophie, who probably got a good idea after asking others about gifts, proactively volunteered to stay with Theo first.
After arranging where the kids would stay, the members started discussing the details of Lisa’s birthday party.
Luciel didn’t participate in the discussion, but he didn’t return to his room either. Instead, he just stayed on the sofa, quietly listening to what the others were saying.
Luciel only remembered that he seemed to have his last birthday as a kid when he was ten years old, and after that, he didn’t have a party anymore because he didn’t want a lot of people bothering him on his birthdays.
Then, when he focused on studying and working as an actor, he didn’t remember ever going to a birthday party for kids.
And when the apocalypse came, of course, there was no chance to attend one, as no one was interested in celebrating kids’ birthdays anymore.
So, he stayed and listened to their discussion, finding it a bit interesting since he hadn’t heard about such things in a long time.
They wanted to decorate the whole venue just like the birthday parties before the start of the apocalypse, so they decided to clean up the second floor and use it as the venue for the party.
In the end, the members finally decided to have a purple princess theme.
They quickly agreed on the color purple because it was Lisa’s favorite. And of course, it was a princess theme because apparently most little girls wanted to be a princess at least once.
After deciding on the theme, they planned how to properly decorate the venue. They had several proposals for the design, then finalized it with votes and a few alterations until everyone was satisfied.
Then they decided on the food and drinks, making sure to include a lot of dishes that kids would like.
Afterward, they prepared several games and other activities for the kids.
They also decided that tomorrow everyone would wear at least something purple, along with semi-formal clothes.
They had already planned to dress the kids nicely for tomorrow, so everyone else also had to wear something decent.
The others didn’t want to waste their venue so they decided that everyone also had to look good.
After their discussion and making sure that they didn’t forget anything the others already began working for Lisa’s birthday party.
Some went with Nina and Richard to prepare the food that they would be having, some went downstairs to clean it up, and others stayed to start preparing the decorations
