Capítulo 262: Chapter 262: A Arcane Researcher

After discussing the tens of thousands of eggs, each capable of hatching into a unique and extremely dangerous beast or monster, all differing in shape and size, and all created by Damian through countless experiments and mutations within the dome labeled “Eggs,” using his power of shadow essence, Damian sent his wives and other family members to various locations where their abilities were most needed.

Each of his wives was dispatched to a different world, ruling in Damian’s place during his absence and serving as queen wherever they were sent.

As the queens of the Emperor of the Empire of Ouroboros, they bore the responsibility of spreading his will among his subjects, whose numbers had now reached into the hundreds of billions.

For this reason, there were no empresses within the empire, only queens.

Damian did not want any of his wives to feel that he was showing special favor to one over the others by granting her the title of empress.

Instead, by naming all of them queens, he ensured that they were treated equally in every regard.

As the Emperor of the Empire of Ouroboros, an empire already recognized by the system, Damian possessed the authority to appoint roles to anyone he wished, each role accompanied by its own privileges and the authority appropriate to it.

As queens of the Empire of Ouroboros, Damian’s wives were granted the authority to command anyone within the empire.

This authority extended across all worlds under the Norse pantheon and the biblical pantheon, as well as worlds such as New Earth, Morris, Kenkai, Yelvera, Nightingale, and Vargheim, all of which had already become part of his empire.

In truth, it would not be inaccurate to say that Damian had effectively become the ruler of all worlds governed by the five World Trees in the universe.

As the Heavenly Son, one of his designated roles was to serve as the guardian and protector of the World Trees themselves, a position that directly granted him authority over the worlds governed by them.

While the World Trees could empower their respective worlds, they were unable to directly interfere with the development or evolution of intelligent life.

Damian, however, could.

In that sense, he was already the ruler of all worlds, though he had yet to formally conquer any intelligent race, nor had he subjugated any kingdoms or factions that inhabited those worlds.

After reuniting with his family, several worlds had already come under his control.

They included their private world, Nevalia, as well as Zoshham, ruled by the Kingdom of Ignatius, and Florusa, governed by the Kingdom of Flanora.

As the rulers of these worlds were his family members, their domains naturally belonged to him.

Although Damian was more than capable of overseeing everything himself, he still chose to allow his queens to manage these worlds, supported by the native subjects of each one.

In doing so, each queen would have her own way of assisting Damian as his wife, while ensuring that none of them felt they were being treated unfairly compared to the others.

With that in mind, Damian had already prepared a general plan for their initial steps as queens, although most of them, like the vampire wives and the werewolf wives, were already quite skilled at leadership, having come from noble clans within their respective societies.

The first thing he told them was to grow as strong as possible, for strength is one of the greatest qualities of a ruler.

Then, for each world, rulership among his wives was distributed according to regions, worlds, and races, allowing them to oversee their territories effectively as queens.

For example, New Earth, Morris, Morris, and Kenkai were worlds inhabited by humans, so they fell under the oversight of the four high human wives, Maria, Yuki, Ana, and Shiru, along with Maria’s seven sisters, who supported them.

As for the Norse pantheon, Freya and Hela would take charge, while the goddesses who had survived Damian’s extermination by submitting to him became subordinate to them, including Frigga.

Although Damian intended to take Frigga as one of his wives, for some reason he couldn’t trust her in the same way he did Freya.

Perhaps it was because of the connection between Freya and Damian, formed through their Divine Concept of Love, which transcends time.

This bond allowed them to know that, even if they were not lovers now, they would become lovers at some point in the future.

This made it easier for Damian to trust her, and Freya’s obsession with him seemed to match Hela’s on the same scale.

Frigga, however, showed little outward emotion, aside from a distinctly open and lustful interest in Damian.

This may have been due to her past ties to Odin, her ex-husband, and her children, whom Damian had killed and devoured, along with their souls.

Until Damian was certain of her intentions, he would not grant her any authority.

Not only that, he had made all these gods and goddesses submit to him, binding them with an extremely tight soul contract of subjugation, making them, for the most part, his servants, just to be safe.

With Frigga’s assistance and the help of the submitted gods and goddesses, Freya would oversee the ruling of the humans, elves, and dwarves of the Norse pantheon.

Meanwhile, the demons and Helheim would be personally overseen by Hela herself, with the protection of her two brothers, the two beasts of end.

As for the heavens of the Norse pantheon, Damian decided to oversee them personally until he found a suitable candidate, and the same applied to the biblical pantheon.

Although the heavens and hells of both pantheons were self-sufficient, Damian still wanted someone to manage them.

Even though the biblical heaven had angels to do the work, he, as emperor, wanted one of his queens to oversee the heaven and the angels.

One candidate he considered for this role was Maria, along with her seven sisters, as well as Elfie and her brother.

He even contemplated making Maria and her seven sisters predominantly Angels instead of predominantly High Humans.

As for the biblical hell, it was left under Lilith and her subordinate Lucifer, who reported only to Lilith and the emperor.

The kingdoms of Flanora and Ignatius would remain under the control of his family.

Similarly, in Nightingale and Vargheim, the vampire wives and the werewolf wives would remain in control on Damian’s behalf, while Lenora and Amelia continued as the patron goddesses of their respective races.

Everything was going smoothly, giving Damian peace of mind to focus on his primary work, improving the providence of his universe.

After sending his family members to their respective worlds, Damian returned to the deepest part of the biblical heaven, where the concentration of Aurema and holy essence was at its highest.

This time, he did not come alone.

Amaya, Tiana, Veyla, Ana, Avanora, his mother-in-law, and Victoria, who apparently had nothing else to do, were with him.

Lucian Holloway also arrived, summoned by Damian, who knew Lucian would love to witness what he was about to do.

“This is a great opportunity to learn how new beings are born artificially,” Avanora said excitedly.

“Wow, you seem really excited. That’s seems unusual for a powerful celestial Qilin,” Tiana muttered.

“Of course she’s excited. This is something that happens extremely rarely, eons once. As an arcane scholar, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for her,” Damian explained.

“Wait… you’re an actual arcane scholar?” Amaya suddenly asked, her eyes wide with surprise.

“Yes… I’m also the Goddess of Scholars, Knowledge, Lightning, Insights, and Cataclysm,” Avanora said proudly.

“Cataclysm… that sounds like a very dangerous divine concept,” Veyla muttered.

“That aside…” Amaya interjected, her expression serious. “You really are an arcane researcher?”

“Yes… are you interested?” Avanora asked, noticing how agitated Amaya seemed.

“Yes… my long-term goal is to become an arcane researcher,” Amaya nodded.

“What’s an arcane researcher?” Ana Sánchez asked Damian, confused by how intensely Amaya seemed interested.

“Arcane research is basically the study of the nature of everything in the universe,” Damian explained. “But to be recognized as an official arcane researcher, one has to prove themselves before the Primordial Judgment to officially gain an authority known as The Immutable Observer.”

“What does that authority do?” Tiana asked slowly.

“Basically, it allows an arcane researcher to observe, see, and understand the nature of everything in existence. Someone with this authority can witness the creation and destruction of anything and everything that happens in between. However, it is strictly for observation. One cannot interfere with existence using this authority,” Damian replied.

He then looked at Avanora. “Amaya’s biggest goal is to become an arcane researcher herself. Like you, she wants to learn.”

“Can you tell me how you became an arcane researcher?” Amaya asked quietly.

“It takes thousands of years. It is an extremely slow process. First, you must achieve godhood. Then, continue to do what you do best and learn continuously with your whole heart, as much as you desire.”

“One day, if you are worthy of the knowledge you have learned and gathered, the Primordial Judgment will grant you the authority of the Immutable Observer, officially making you an arcane researcher,” Avanora said, gently placing her hand over Amaya’s like a mother advising her daughter.

“It took me hundreds of thousands of years to be recognized by the Primordial, but you have our husband, Damian, with you. With him, you do not have to worry. You will be recognized. It will simply take time.”

Avanora said, looking at what Damian was about to begin. “Starting with what our husband is about to do. Unlike you, I didn’t have him in the initial stage of my life. I had already decided what I wanted to become when he arrived. Yet here you are, observing things that occur once in eons, things he will be doing almost every day. You couldn’t be in a better place to learn.”
