Capítulo 252: Chapter 252: The Existence – 3
“My brother’s previous lives were irrelevant, at least that’s what he says, since he hadn’t made any notable achievements,” the World Tree Isha said, rolling her eyes. “Even though all he did in his thirteen past lives was achieve something new every single time.”
“Yeah, right. It’s ridiculous,” Damian’s only aunt, Victoria Ignatius, added with an agitated expression. “My nephew did things no one, not even the top gods of the Upper Plane, could even imagine doing. He created things beyond comprehension, yet he still claims he has no achievements worth remembering and that his past lives are irrelevant.”
“Wow, Aunt Victoria, I didn’t realize you thought so highly of me,” Damian said with a small smile as he looked at her.
“Thank you. But although I did try many things, most of them didn’t yield the satisfactory results I had hoped for. Still, it wasn’t a waste. Everything I did in my previous lives taught me countless things, things I can now replicate far more effectively to accelerate the emergence of our universe back to how it should be. In fact, I can make it much better.”
He continued calmly, “From my first life to my twelfth, all I did was create or alter things, constantly trying to speed up emergence, and of course painfully kill anyone or anything that dared to set foot in our universe from the outside.”
Damian then turned to his mother, Valentina Ignatius. “In my final reincarnation, I was reborn as the son of the Queen of the Kingdom of Ignatius.”
“And as our younger brother,” Elizabeth Ignatius, the eldest of the Ignatius siblings, added with a gentle smile.
“Um, may I ask something?” Amaya raised her hand shyly.
“Of course,” Damian replied warmly.
He already knew what she was going to ask, but he wanted her to speak.
“It’s my understanding that the Ignatius clan is part of the Celestial Races, right?” Amaya asked.
“You’re wondering how someone of the Celestial Race like me could give birth to my son, aren’t you?”
Valentina asked with a chuckle.
She wasn’t uncomfortable.
She knew many of the women present had the same question.
The Celestial Races were beings created from the remnants of energy used to form existence itself.
Unlike races such as vampires, werewolves, or angels, their origins were entirely different.
Most races came into being through evolution or through a progenitor, either emerging naturally or being deliberately created, with their race forming from them.
The Celestial Races, however, did not arise from evolution nor from progenitors.
They were formed directly from the essence of the universe, specifically the remnants left unused after existence itself was created, once the Three Supremes, the Seven Primordials, and the World Trees had already come into being.
Originally, Celestials were monsters, celestial beasts that drifted through the eternally expanding void of the universe.
From them eventually emerged the Celestial Races, now possessing human-like forms.
Unlike other races, Celestials are unique.
They cannot naturally procreate.
“Then how did you give birth to your daughters?” Veyla Serelith, one of Damian’s werewolf wives, asked with a confused expression.
She glanced between Valentina Ignatius, Victoria Ignatius, and Avanora Kimurai.
All three were Celestials, yet each of them had daughters, which made the contradiction even more puzzling.
“Let me explain,” Avanora Kimurai said.
The Queen of the Kingdom of Flanora and the mother of Avaline stepped forward.
“Yes, it is true,” she said. “Any being of the Celestial Races, regardless of form or type, cannot procreate. It is not within our essence, nor is it permitted by the rules of existence.”
“However, there is a way.”
Celestials could bear children by borrowing Celestial Essence from the Primordials and mixing it with their own natural essence.
This process allowed the creation of a new being, one that was both genetically and essentially their child.
However, the method came with strict limitations.
All children born this way would be female, and like their mothers, they would also lack the ability to procreate.
“My son, however, was a different matter,” Queen Valentina Ignatius said with a soft smile.
“To obtain Celestial Essence from the Primordials, we must pay an enormous price or complete tasks that could take thousands, sometimes millions, of years,” she explained. “And I desperately wanted children.”
“That was when the Primordials came to me with an offer,” Valentina continued. “If I agreed to bear the soul of the Son of the Universe and give birth to him, they would grant me the Celestial Essence for free.”
“It was I who came to you,” the Primordial of Beginning said calmly, her expression as stoic as ever.
“Yes,” Valentina nodded. “Both the Primordial Beginning and the Primordial Life came to me.”
She took a breath before continuing. “In short, I agreed. They gave me enough Celestial Essence to give birth to my three daughters and for my sister to give birth to Grace. Then, as payment, they entrusted me with a soul.”
Her voice softened.
“The most incomprehensible, unique, and powerful soul I had ever encountered.”
“After that, the rest is history,” she said warmly. “I gave birth to my son, and my motherly instincts took over completely. He lived his life as a Celestial himself, as a Phoenix.”
“A Fire Phoenix, to be precise.”
Yes, phoenixes.
Valentina Ignatius, Victoria Ignatius, Elizabeth Ignatius, Grace Ignatius, and the twins Tasha Ignatius and Sasha Ignatius, all of them were phoenixes.
As for Avanora Kimurai and Avaline Kimurai, they were Lightning Qilins, another celestial race.
Damian was born to Valentina Ignatius.
Regardless of how or why the Primordials had chosen her, the fact remained unchanged.
Damian bore her essence within him, making him her son both by blood and by essence.
“Does that mean my king is also a phoenix, in addition to being the progenitor of so many races?” Kathryne asked, looking at him with wide eyes.
“Yes,” Damian replied, gently patting her head. “I have already recovered all of my soul power and essence. I am a Fire Phoenix, and I will also become the other celestial races as well.”
“Now that my soul has been completely restored, I can do everything I was once unable to do. Becoming the progenitor of the remaining races is simply another task to me now.”
“But haven’t you already become the Primordial Progenitor?” Victoria asked. “Aren’t you already the progenitor of all races?”
In her eyes, her nephew already seemed omnipotent, capable of anything.
She knew he had the complete support of the Primordials.
After all, he was almost one himself.
“He has not become a true Primordial like us,” the Primordial of Beginning said calmly, her expressionless face unmoved. “Nor will he ever be a Primordial in the same sense. We are not living beings. We Primordials are functions of the universe given consciousness and will. We cannot be born, nor can we die, but he can.”
“He will become a new, unique type of Primordial. However, he has not yet achieved that status. Once he devours the essence of all remaining evolved intelligent races, it will not take long.”
“Like she said,” Damian added. “You could call me a pseudo-Primordial for now. To ascend as the true Primordial Progenitor, I must become the progenitor of all remaining races, including the celestial ones.”
“Wait,” Avanora said, frowning slightly. “You will become the progenitor of the celestial races? I thought celestials, by essence and law, could not have a progenitor. Wouldn’t that violate the system itself?”
“Let’s just say I have a way,” Damian replied simply.
Avaline hesitated before asking, “What will happen to the existing celestial races if you become their progenitor?”
Damian smiled. “Many things. But the most important change will be this. The celestial races will gain the ability to procreate.”
“Wait, is that really possible, son?” Valentina asked, shock evident on her face.
Everyone stared at him with similar expressions, even those among his newer wives who did not fully grasp the significance of what he had just said.
“I can’t believe it,” Avanora muttered.
“You can,” the Primordial of Beginning said. “A progenitor carries the essence of creation for their race. If the Heavenly Son becomes the progenitor of the celestial races, then he becomes their creator. He will be able to create as many of them as he wishes.”
“As she said,” Damian nodded.
“I have a question,” Amaya said, raising her hand hesitantly.
“You ask a lot of questions, don’t you?” Tasha Ignatius teased.
“She’s curious by nature,” Damian said with a faint smile. “Which I quite like. Go ahead. You don’t need permission.”
“Y-Yes,” Amaya said, her face slightly red. “I just wanted to know why celestial races can’t procreate. They’re still a race, aren’t they? Why shouldn’t they have descendants?”
“It’s because they are useless,” the Primordial stated flatly.
“Wow. She just called us useless,” Victoria sighed.
“Well, she is a Primordial,” Avanora said calmly. “From her perspective, I suppose we are.”
“Let me explain,” Damian continued. “As you know, celestials are formed from remnant essence and residual energy of the universe. Celestial essence is a fundamental component of creation itself. It was never meant to be consumed to sustain a race.”
“For celestials to procreate, vast quantities of celestial essence would be required. The Primordials refuse to allow such a vital resource to be wasted on reproduction.”
“Since celestial beings are born from remnants, they hold no significance within the natural order of existence, nor do they expand it. That is why they have no progenitor, no ability to reproduce, and no role in emergence.”
“Which is why,” Damian finished calmly, “they are considered useless by the primordials and supremes.”
