Capítulo 1991: The Blade Is Complete

Oblivion was a power that had given the Primordials inside Eosah’s Reality a lot of grief, but that was Oblivion unchecked, without a master, if there was ever to be a Primordial of Space before Rowan, they would be powerful but still comparable to other Primordials, but everything would change when they could reach the forth layer of their Origin and gain the power to harness Oblivion, this was what made a Primordial of Space to become extremely dangerous.

And now that Rowan called upon the Maws of Oblivion, he felt a cold wave erupt inside his heart, and all of his internal organs vanished, as he became a flesh suit covering the gate to Oblivion.

The spear of soul hunger slammed into Rowan’s chest, tearing into it, and then vanished. It did not burst out of his back or shatter him to pieces; it was as if it no longer existed.

Rowan felt the spear traveling through Oblivion, seeking to wreak havoc, but it soon began to forget its target, and when its memory was gone, Rowan seized control of the spear and redirected it.

The spear, screaming with the death of souls and the coldness of Oblivion, emerged behind Nyxara, slamming into her wing in a spray of black blood threaded with gold.

All of these actions may seem to have taken a while, but in the perception of anyone watching the battle, it was instantaneous. They saw Nyxara throw a Primordial killing spear at Rowan that struck him in the chest ,and instantly, that spear, appearing more powerful, appeared behind her and tore through her body.

Nyxara hissed in pain, but smiled. “Good strike,” she mouthed as she burned her Origin Force to rapidly heal. In a battle like this, the Primordials could not hold back for their natural regeneration to purge their bodies of foreign powers, else they would perish before they even realized what killed them.

Rowan noted how quickly Nyxara had burned her Origin Force to disperse the power of Oblivion in her wound, and he found this to be interesting, since it told him many things about the mental state of the Primordials.

To burn Origin Force was a permanent sacrifice; it was not like a candle that could be lit and doused off anytime you wanted. Every Origin Force you burn was gone forever, and for Primordial Soul to unhesitatingly burn her Origin Force was worthy of note.

The general of Death charged, “You are mine!”

His pale horse galloped, hooves striking sparks of forgotten endings. In the space between steps, it multiplied; higher-dimensional copies of him began unfolding, each a fractal of the original, charging from eight directions.

All of these copies were equal in power to him, and these copies were slowly creating their own copies; they became an army in the blink of an eye, and the aura from them became so powerful that it could be felt at the other end of Limbo.

Rowan raised his left hand and twisted his wrist to the side, and he just…folded space. He waited for a bit, and then he compressed space, and the result of his simple actions was spectacular.

The Road of Eternity bent under his will, and the charges converged on themselves, causing the horses and the generals they carried to collide in an explosion of bone and void, shards raining like black hail.

The Primordials moved through the shattered body of the general who was roaring in pain as they unfurled their wings and weaved their Wills into chains that swept towards Rowan in their billions.

Blond hair waving in invisible fractal winds, Rowan drew in a deep breath and dodged, the Agility Core in his chest surging, causing his body to blur into prismatic shadows, dodging the countless chains of Will that would have shredded him to pieces.

One chain from Primordial Demon grazed his leg before rapidly threading around it and solidifying and slicing through the limb with a wet snapping sound.

Pain lanced through Rowan’s consciousness as a piece of his soul tore free alongside that limb. He roared with rage and unleashed a Fractal Spatial Storm that blasted all the Primordials back and tore through their Wills, giving him the opportunity to regrow his leg.

He suddenly moved to the side, but it was too late, a massive scythe from the general swung at him, and although it did not hit his flesh. Rowan saw it did not need to. Primordial Time had summoned all the previous vselves of Rowan on the Road of Eternity, and the scythe of the general was going to slice through them.

Killing all of these previous selves would leave only a path of death for Rowan. His eyes burned like flames, and Rowan summoned Oblivion without holding back. Reaching the Primordial level for him was a complete evolution, but this evolution needed time to be completed… even his Essence, Ether, and Soul were being evolved, but they were not yet completed.

He needed at least a few billion years to complete the total transformation, but he was not going to get that much time. Still, he had enough juice to push forward.

The Maw of Oblivion inside of him swallowed his infinite essence and roared wide open, and for a moment, even a mortal would be able to hear the sound of Oblivion with their ears.

The scythe of the general of Death sliced through his past, and Oblivion swallowed it. Rowan’s consciousness nearly combusted as he focused the power of space around all seven Primordials and reversed the strike from death unto all of them, while primarily focusing on Xylos, Primordial Demon.

Six massive scythes filled with the power of death and oblivion slammed against six of the Primordials, pushing them back, but for Xylos, the scythe appeared inside his neck, nearly decapitating the Primordial, who staggered back, and his head was only held on by a little bit of flesh.

His roar of pain was the trigger that the Primordials needed, as they all burned their Origin Forces at the same time. Originally, they thought they could defeat Rowan, who was just an Incarnation of Eos, using their base forms. This confidence came from all of them attacking him alongside the general of Death, but in the short period of time they had been attacking, Rowan was holding all of them off.

In time, they could wear him down and kill him, but Rowan was not the danger here; his main body, Eos and Enoch, were the main concern, and every second wasted on fighting Rowan was giving more chances for problems to arise.

Burning their Origin Force exerted such great weight on the Road of Eternity that it began to collapse, and the power of Oblivion radiating from Rowan’s body was squeezed back into him; that annoying move he had where he reversed attack would no longer be possible.

“Crush him!!” Asteroath, Primordial Light, roared. Something in the tone of this Primordial’s voice made Rowan cock his head to the side. Something was different about Asteroath; he could not just place his finger on it.

Rowan smiled widely and gestured towards the eight, “Bring it.”

Placing himself in a boxer stance, behind him, multiple blades of space arose, and this time, he did not wait for his enemies to attack; he charged forward as he heard a dull buzzing in his ears, Eva the Primordial of Revelation whispering, “The blade is complete.”
