Chapter 3577: Ocean Floor Dominance

The Alfina Kingdom mobilized its massive army, deploying all of them to the Great Void Ocean. Queen Sirfreya watched as her pathwalkers and her forces charged towards the Great Void Ocean with sharpened eyes, even as she remained seated on her throne.

She knew that she was taking a gamble.

Unlike the surface-dwelling civilizations of the true world, she did not have a degree of isolation or an ability to ward off outsiders from approaching her territory.

The international waters could be traversed by many, and any attempt to seal off the ocean for themselves was met with fierce response from all nations and races.

This meant that the risk that her territory would be attacked not only by the other races and species but also by the new monsters that infested the oceans around the Panama Continent was extremely high.

That was perhaps the one reason that she hadn’t simply deployed her army to immediately rush to the Great Void Ocean, even if she had ultimately chosen to do that.

“We cannot remain passive in this era. Otherwise, we will stagnate relative to the others, and that will create weakness that will make for our demise.”

Her decision shook the world.

Even though the Alfina Kingdom was no match for any of the seven superpowers in a total war, it was extremely able to achieve great success in the Negatron mining rush. And that was exactly what Queen Sirfreya sought to achieve.

If she could achieve immense success with the negatron mining rush and mine massive amounts of negatron matter from the lava and the igneous sediment rock, then she would be able to leverage to achieve all manner of benefits for her people. Getting access to technology, energy, and other priceless assets that could empower her people and civilization.

It would also allow her and her people to reach for the stars and directly transport themselves to the stars in the future, allowing them to perhaps directly reach new water-laden worlds in the galaxy and potentially expand their civilization to the new world.

Their evolutionary ancestry meant that they could adaptively evolve to other worlds much better than other races. They would not need to engage in massive terraforming to colonize new worlds.

Possibilities that the seafolk had ruled out forever now became entirely possible right before their very eyes, thanks to the negatron matter. Even if she was taking a massive risk, she knew that she couldn’t stop.

Especially when the advantage that they had over all other races was slipping with each passing moment.

The true world had already begun developing new cutting-edge high-depth submarine technology, including combat suits and breathing apparatuses that would allow their pathwalkers to fight in the ocean more easily and with less risk.

In just a year’s time, their advantage would likely be greatly diminished. Thus, she had deemed, it was time to go all out and storm the Great Void Ocean with her army.

Immediately, the army of the Alfina Kingdom began rolling over the Great Void Ocean, unleashing a destructive assault on all the countless parties that had sought to get their hands on some negatron matter. Queen Silfreya had wisely limited her targets to the many private-sector parties that had partaken in the race.

For now, she didn’t intend to attack the seven superpowers of the true world. Once she had gathered enough negatron matter to achieve a tremendous amount of leverage over the other nations to constitute some kind of mutually assured destruction-deterrence, then she would afford to attack even the seven superpowers and take over their territory.

“We can even ally ourselves with half of them and attack the other half, ensuring that they are divided. It would double our support and halve our enemies.”

Yet, she was unwilling to compromise on the amount of negatron matter that she could get her hands on. For a water-dwelling race like them, there was no such thing as too much negatron matter. If they had any hope of partaking in the race to the stars, they couldn’t possibly afford to go soft on negatron matter.

It opened possibilities that they had had to reject before. The seafolk had tried their best to be a part of the race to the stars by trying to design marine spaceships with a water environment, but it had proven to be extremely risky, or simply impossible, or impractical at the very best.

With negatron technology, it was possible that they could simply deploy bogies that could open wormholes from one end to the other and directly connect worlds. It was possible that they would be able to even directly manipulate space to allow them to bring water with them everywhere they went.

It would improve space-time technology to such an extent that it even became plausible that they could create technology that would allow them to treat the very fabric of space and time as the medium through which they swam and lived.

It could turn the environment outside the ocean into an asset rather than an antithetical environment.

BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM!!!!!

The countless seafolk pathwalkers swept across the Great Void Ocean ocean floor, destroying mining crafts, destroying lava extractors, and killing all the pathwalkers that stood in their way with their overwhelming numbers.

Millions and millions of soldiers rampaged through countless private-sector parties mining the ocean floor, destroying all their operations as their own mining teams emerged, taking root to start extracting all the negatron matter that they could get their hands on.

They scavenged damaged mining crafts and extractors for the extracted and purified negatron matter, stealing the fruits of labor of countless others.

They carefully avoided the elves, giants, evolutionaries, tekvores, dwarves, and therianthropes, targeting those they were confident couldn’t retaliate effectively, swarming the ocean floor.

They were also just stronger than the vast majority of pathwalkers present. The aquatic therianthropes and the Martial Artists of the Marinaera Kingdom of the Panama Continent were the only pathwalkers who were truly equal to them in the water.

That was the hope with which the seafolk waged war on much of the true world.
