Chapter 442: Do not unlock yet
Jie-Yu joined us during our meal.
Since she came on such short notice and did not pack up anything, I asked Seo-Jun if he could help with getting her settled.
He grumbled, didn’t want to work but when I offered to give him a nice long kiss, his face lit up and he made a call to his secretary right away, asking Jie-Yu for her size.
She was flustered at first, her mind still wondering how I offered him a kiss, and that lifted his spirit so much as if he were given a bottle of Sprite.
She didn’t quite understand things completely. She felt I was Jin-Yeok’s lover since he took such good care of me but then in the mansion here, there were two more of the powerful Alphas who were dancing at my palm.
It looked like we had an intensive relationship.
I mean, I didn’t plan to hide it. I’m not exactly an exhibitionist… Maybe… But I didn’t mind the fact that she could watch if they were ever intimate with me.
Ah, maybe it was because my self-consciousness wanted her to know that my men were not for hire and that they already belonged to me, so she shouldn’t have any hidden and funny ideas.
Once again, that might just be my self-consciousness.
As soon as Seo-Jun cut the call, his eyes glinted and he pulled my face to kiss me right there and then.
Since I already promised it to him as a reward, he felt he could collect it whenever he wanted.
Jie-Yu was stunned but immediately bowed her head, feeling she shouldn’t watch that. Her face and ears went red though.
Such a thing in front of her… It was so embarrassing and hot at the same time.
Ah, one more thing. Jie-Yu is a Beta so I didn’t need to worry about her getting affected by any Pheromones leaking out.
But for the sake of her own comfort and peace of mind, I should probably minimize the level of intimacy in front of her.
The moment Seo-Jun pulled away, I could see the thin line of saliva connecting our parting lips till it broke. And then, maybe I saw wrong or maybe not, I saw him smirk towards Jie-Yu as if trying to show off that ‘this’ was the kind of relationship we had.
How petty of him.
“Hyung, you shouldn’t play with your food,” Min-Cheol said and I nodded.
“I don’t plan to play with it either,” I said, but he suddenly reached his hand towards me, lifted my chin, and brushed my lips with his thumb.
“If you get distracted by that old man then you’re definitely being playful with your food.” He said and then leaned in. It looked like he was going to kiss me, and my eyes rolled towards Jie-Yu.
This might be a bit too much but whatever.
He gave a light peck and then my mind began to do a bit of calculations.
If Seo-Jun just kissed these lips and then Min-Cheol went ahead to kiss them afterwards, doesn’t that mean they just had an indirect kiss with my lips as the medium?
Ah, I’m so glad I’m not a fudanshi. I thought. If not, I’d have spent a lot of time shipping my masters when the romance was supposed to circle me.
But what about Jie-Yu? Was she a fujoshi?
Ah, given how she keeps blushing, was that the case? I’ll find that out later.
“By the way,” I cleared my throat. “I was about to ask if you wanted to join us for horseback riding.”
“Are we doing that now, Hyung?” Min-Cheol asked and I nodded.
“Why not? And we can play golf as well.” I said, but it looked like neither of them liked the idea.
Why? Was it because I was inviting Jie-Yu? Hm, no, it didn’t seem like their dissatisfaction was directed at her.
Then… I blinked as I recalled their reward.
My face flushed and I placed my hands on my cheeks.
Gosh, it was definitely that.
They wanted us to get to it.
In all honesty, I, too, was looking forward to it, but I couldn’t be rude to the guest, so… Let’s show Jie-Yu around so that once that’s done, we’ll have no interruption when we begin later.
Ahem, I think that’s the best course of action.
“Let’s… Let’s go horseback riding first,” I said, opening one eye to spy on them. “And after that, we can get to the ‘other’ thing.”
Heading this, their faces look up.
“Right, right, Hyung knows how to be the best planner,” Min-Cheol said, his spirit lifting completely.
“Hm, I suppose that should be fine,” Seo-Jun added, trying to carry an elegant air around him… It didn’t suit him. “It’s good to stretch your legs once in a while.”
Dude, we just came back from doing stretches not too long ago. Choose your words wisely, will you?
Jie-Yu watched this and without knowing why, she suddenly chuckled.
This caught our attention. I, specifically, wondered why she laughed. Did she find this funny?
As soon as she noticed we were looking at her, she quickly realized she had laughed louder than she planned to, so she immediately apologized.
“Oh, I’m sorry. That was rude of me.” She said, looking frantic again.
“Well, it’s not exactly rude but did you find anything funny?” I asked. I doubt she understood what the ‘other’ thing meant. And if she did, she would’ve flushed more rather than laugh.
“Well, this is a bit presumptuous of me but… I feel that the powerful and unapproachable Alphas whom everyone fears are actually more… Normal.” She said and my brow arced.
Would you look at this?
“They’re more down to Earth and have different expressions, just like every other person.”
Well, they are human, after all.
“The realization just made me laugh since I was one of those who thought that they were as scary as dragons or something.”
“Hm,” Seo-Jun hummed, his lips twisting as he thought of this. “This won’t do. You have to be scared of us.” He said with a cold tone that I could tell was meant to scare Jie-Yu. And it did.
She flinched, her gaze falling down as she realized she might’ve overstepped.
“Why do you want her to be scared of you?”
“She said she’d be scared because we were thought of as dragons, right?”
That’s not exactly what she said but okay, go on.
“So she has to be scared.”
“And your point is?”
I was wondering what he was going to spit out of that mouth of his and then he said something ridiculous.
“I’m a dragon,” he said and I sighed wearily, along with Min-Cheol.
How could he be so smart and so stupid at the same time?
“She should be scared because I’m a scary and mighty dragon.” He proclaimed, with no shame. What? When did he develop middle school syndrome?
(Middle school syndrome is a type of mental illness where a full-grown man acts like a middle schooler)
“She should be in awe of my brilliance and marvel. She also has to stay clear because even my shadow is scary,” his eyes glinted at the rubbish he was spewing.
I couldn’t even watch and listen to what he was saying anymore.
“Seo-Jun,” I called and he turned to me.
“Yes, Jopil.”
To think he was spewing all that nonsense with that handsome grin on his face.
“Did you hit your head on your way here?” I asked and Min-Cheol laughed.
“What?” He paused.
“You’re not a dragon.” I plainly stated and turned away from him. “You’re more like a perverted sage,” I mumbled and Min-Cheol laughed under his breath, but made sure Seo-Jun felt his mocking gaze.
I shook my head at his childishness and then turned to Jie-Yu.
“Anyway, please ignore his words. He’s neither a scary human being nor a dragon, but you should also keep your distance from him since he bites like a dog.”
“Huh?”
Jie-Yu looked confused but I didn’t plan to explain more.
If she could get comfortable without entertaining the thought of wanting to get closer to my Alphas then it was for the best.
I smiled.
“Hyung, have this,” Min-Cheol proceeded to fill my plate, and I smiled at him.
“Thank you, Little min.”
Once the meal was done, I found out I had a lot of riding suits. Since none of Jie-Yu’s things were here, she’d have to make do with another, and although my riding suits weren’t meant for ladies, a lady could wear them.
And when Jie-Yu came out wearing it, it felt like the suit had been made just for her.
“Great,” I gave her a thumbs-up.
She was given a room at the far corner. It looked like a room no one was planning to use and it was farthest away from me. It was on the other side of the stairs anyway, so there was no one close to her.
I asked the maids to help her and they gave her a pretty look with her hair tied in two pig tails.
“You’re cute,” I suddenly said, swiping the loose strand of hair from her face to the corner, and her face flushed.
“Tha…thank you.” She said and I laughed.
Definitely adorable.
