Capítulo 2327: Samsara Lord’s statue

A cold and merciless smile appeared on Ideonus’s face as Cain’s figure vanished within the raging energy blast. For a brief instant, the battlefield was swallowed by obsidian light and violent shockwaves. The air itself screamed under the pressure.

Then, in the very next second, Cain emerged.

Chaos Wings unfurled from his back in a burst of scarlet plasma, their presence igniting a primordial dread in the heart of anyone who witnessed them. Before Ideonus could react, Cain seized him by the head and began dragging his body violently across the ground. Frozen earth shattered beneath them, deep gouges carving through ice and stone alike.

The violet eyes of the native of Origin Island widened in shock as he felt Cain’s power rise yet again. Those scarlet wings were not merely an expression of energy—they carried an ancient, instinctive terror that made his very soul recoil.

Yet Ideonus did not surrender.

He tightened his grip around the handle of his invisible sword and released a massive blast of obsidian energy. The explosion tore through the battlefield and finally forced Cain backward.

The Chaos Wings flared violently, stabilizing Cain’s body and allowing him to regain control almost instantly. Without hesitation, Cain dove forward once more, every movement filled with killing intent.

The Power of Chaos placed immense pressure on his soul, especially when used at this level of combat. Cain had not wanted to rely on it so heavily. There was always the risk of encountering Neo-Angels ahead, and he would need enough strength left to kill them without hesitation.

Unfortunately, Ideonus had forced his hand.

At this point, Cain was going all out, no longer restraining himself in the slightest. If killing this man meant drawing the hostility of whatever forces stood behind him, so be it. Cain would deal with that when the time came.

Of course, Ideonus was not holding back either.

Although the Power of Chaos had significantly enhanced Cain’s strength, unleashing the mask pushed Ideonus to an overwhelming level of power. Their swords collided again and again, each impact releasing waves of energy that grew more violent with every exchange. The battlefield trembled under their clash, cracks spreading through the frozen land like veins.

A blast of obsidian energy hurled Cain backward once more, but in less than a heartbeat, he regained control. His grip tightened around Sky Devourer as his Chaos Wings resonated with the rules and laws of the land itself.

Dark purple threads manifested all around him.

They wove through the air like veins of reality, subtle yet impossibly dense. Cain’s eyes widened as he recognized them.

This was the Matrix of Origin Island—the rules and laws governing this place.

Their power was indescribable.

Channeling the Matrix of Origin Island was on a completely different level compared to channeling the laws of the Crimson World. The strength it provided was terrifying, but the pressure it exerted on Cain’s body and soul was exponentially greater. His bones creaked under the strain, and his blood surged violently as his existence was forced to align with the island’s rules.

Cain did not allow himself even a moment to analyze it.

His gaze remained cold and merciless as he focused solely on Ideonus.

The violet-eyed man was even more shocked by the sight of Cain channeling the island’s laws. That shock lasted only an instant before being replaced by an overwhelming sense of existential dread.

“Chaos of Worldbreak!”

The power around Sky Devourer surged explosively. The blade screamed as scarlet and void-like energies fused together, warping the space around it. Ideonus knew, with absolute certainty, that whatever came next would be lethal.

He did not wait to find out.

The violet light in his eyes intensified to a shocking degree. His entire existence blurred, transforming into a mass of obsidian light as he flashed away at unimaginable speed. The massive ice wall split open, creating a colossal passage as Ideonus crossed through it and vanished from Cain’s perception.

Cain immediately halted his attack.

He poured every ounce of focus into calming the raging energies within his body. The Chaos Wings dissolved, and the Matrix threads faded as he forcibly suppressed them. Only then did Cain release a slow breath, relief flickering briefly across his face.

The truth was that unleashing Ragnarok would have released truly transcendent power—but the backlash could have knocked him unconscious for an unknown amount of time. In a place like Origin Island, that risk was unacceptable and potentially fatal.

Of course, Cain did not lower his guard.

He had already seen how easily the inhabitants of Origin Island could sneak past his perception. It was only after he confirmed that he was completely alone, with no hidden dangers lurking nearby, that he finally calmed down. Asura Form and Doomsday Incarnation faded, his body returning to a controlled state.

Even then, Cain did not retreat.

He had clearly seen Ideonus cross the ice wall, which meant there was a way through.

The Power of Chaos and The Flow intensified in his eyes as he gazed toward the wall. Slowly, patterns emerged.

“Energy lines…” Cain murmured. “They’re so small it would have taken me a long time to find them on my own.”

A small smile appeared on his face.

Cain extended his energy forward, carefully interacting with the hidden lines embedded within the ice wall. After several seconds, massive plates of ice began to shift and slide apart, revealing a narrow path through.

Without hesitation, Cain stepped through.

What appeared before him was truly beautiful—and deeply unsettling.

The sky above was bathed in a constant aurora-like glow, waves of color rippling endlessly across the heavens. The density of the rules and laws in this area was even greater, pressing down on his senses with immense weight.

“Just what is this island?” Cain wondered.

He did not allow himself to be distracted.

Moving forward, he left the ice wall behind and entered what appeared to be an ancient city. Like everything else on Origin Island, it was built in harmony with the terrain itself. Structures were formed from trees and stone, bridges woven naturally into the land.

Despite their weathered appearance, Cain could tell that these constructions possessed incredible resilience. Given the endurance of the elements on the island, the city’s durability likely surpassed that of most strongholds in the Empyrean Worlds.

Cain navigated the ancient city carefully, searching for clues about the true nature of Origin Island. The situation was becoming increasingly dangerous, and he had yet to make contact with the forces of the Freedom Path. Understanding where he was—and what kind of world this truly was—had become critical.

Unfortunately, the ruins offered no clear answers.

That was when he reached the center.

Cain froze.

Before him stood a statue untouched by erosion or time. It was carved from an unknown stone and depicted a man with three eyes. The aura emanating from it was something Cain had left before.

“…Samsara Lord?”
