Idan and Arabel, like the others, appeared on the spectator stand. However, Sierra and Esma were not visible among them, they appeared with some delay at opposite ends of the arena, opposite each other.

In addition to the arena itself, two large screens appeared on top in front of the audience, each of which showed one of the two fighters.

“These are their avatars, right?” Arabel asked Idan.

“Yes, that’s right,” Idan confirmed, who also noticed that it wasn’t the real bodies of Serra and Esma that appeared in the arena, but their avatars.

“It feels weird,” — Sierra whispered, clasping her hands. She couldn’t distinguish reality from the so-called virtual world.

Looking around, she saw ruined buildings and a lot of strange technology.

On the other side, Esma was also a little confused. She discovered that the bond that had existed since the signing of the contract with Arabel had disappeared. She couldn’t feel her presence or even communicate with her.

However, Esma did not stay in this state for long. Soon, a wide smile appeared on her face, and her eyes were alight with anticipation.

She believed the words of her younger sister Arabel and Idan. Therefore, she quickly accepted that she was not in her real body right now, but in a so-called avatar.

Four majestic wings appeared at the same time behind the backs of both Valkyries. Esma now has massive sea-green wings to match her hair. And behind Sierra, four dark wings appeared, like a clot of night.

“How beautiful,” Ina whispered, amazed by this sight, which she saw for the first time.

“Uh-huh,” — Laura agreed, also admiring the beauty of the two older Valkyries.

Sierra wasn’t surprised to see that she now had four wings instead of six. “It’s even more interesting this way,” she said, and with a flap of her wings, she soared into the sky.

Rising into the sky, she saw the huge arena of the ruined city.

Suddenly, her gaze caught on a figure soaring into the sky, and she recognized Esma.

Esma also noticed Sierra in the sky.

The two Valkyries stared at each other.

They had known each other for a long time. Esma even kept the memories of her real body, and so she had known Sierra since she was very young.

Esmari, Esma’s real body, was older than Sierra and had a lot of experience, but like Esma herself, she was somewhat strange and did not often participate in battles.

Esma and Sierra had never really fought each other. Sierra has memories of Esmari making fun of her several times when she was very young.

Sierra had always treated the older Valkyries with respect, but due to Esmarie’s ridicule and unusual behavior, she did not feel the same respect for her.
