Capítulo 724: What do you think of “her”?

When Arabel returned, she found Idan sitting with his arms folded and his eyes closed, and Darkia had already finished with the dishes she had brought and was now silently looking at Idan.

“Oh, you’re back,” Idan opened his eyes, noticing her return, and smiled at her. “How are you?”

“It’s fine,” Arabel replied with a slight smile, taking her seat.

Darkia watched their interaction with a smile, and the longer she watched, the more pleased she felt for some reason.

“Where were we?” Arabel asked, returning to the topic of the conversation.

“About the elemental worlds,” — Darkia replied, remembering. “But let’s put it off for later, after we survive the Third Calamity.”

“Okay,” Idan and Arabel agreed, realizing that it was better to focus on the immediate events for now.

“By the way, I almost forgot, did you already know that the Eye of the Web is now mine?”

“Yes, we know,” Idan nodded.

“I have a small suggestion for you,” Darkia continued. “Dispel the curse you put on him, and in return, I will instruct him to remove all information about you from the network. Not only information about your real personalities, but also all the data about your other personalities.”

Idan and Arabel exchanged glances, and their silence was more eloquent than words. They both knew what they wanted.

“System, can you remove that curse?” Before giving his answer, Idan turned to the System.

[Yes, I can. This will require 100 System Points.]

“Okay, we can remove the curse, but there’s no need to delete information about us. Instead, we want the Eye of the Web to stay out of our business.”

“Heh,” Darkia chuckled.

“Okay, I agree,” she replied.

“System, take the system points and remove the curse,” Idan asked the System.

[Done.]

“It’s done,” Idan replied.

The whole process took only a few seconds.

“I see,” Darkia said. “Don’t worry, I won’t go back on my words and personally make sure he doesn’t pry into your business.”

If the situation had been the same, Idan and Arabel could have agreed to delete information about themselves. However, now that their system is fully activated, this is no longer necessary.

The main threat that their system avoided stopped bothering them, and there was no point in hiding anymore.

Now they needed to expand their influence and fame.

There was, of course, the temptation to establish a relationship with the Eye of the Web and use its services. However, considering that he now belongs to the Dark System, they abandoned this idea.

Although the Dark System seems benevolent at the moment, it is unknown how it will behave in the future. Given the Dark System’s strong desire to take over both of them, it’s highly likely that their relationship will turn hostile.

Currently, the Dark System has all the information about the two of them before their wedding.

Then, the Dark System, as suggested, concluded a treaty between the Systems, according to which it would not take any action against the two of them and their allies during the Third Disaster.

After finishing the food that had already been delivered, the Dark System was the first to leave the room, leaving Idan and Arabel alone.

“What do you think of “her”?” Arabel asked Idan.

“To be honest, it’s very difficult,” admitted Idan. “”She” seems very friendly towards us, but don’t be fooled by that, Belle.”

“”She’s” not like us.”

“Although she claims to be different, “she” is still a System that pursues its own goals. And just because “she” likes us makes “her” treat us like that.” Idan had a feeling of fear of the Dark System.

After all, the Dark System possessed all of Arabel’s memories. “She” knew all her secrets, her connections, and because of that, “she” also knew a lot about him.

If the Dark System perceived them as their enemies, it would be a terrible time for them. After all, “she” could use all the information gathered to her advantage.

Even now, Idan couldn’t completely rule out the possibility that the Dark System would take advantage of this in the future.

“Do you want to talk to the chef girl?” he asked Arabel, distracting himself from his thoughts.

“To be honest, I’m not in the mood. Besides, I noticed that Darkia liked the food here, and I’m sure she’ll come back here again. If she finds out that we took the cook, won’t she get mad?” asked Arabel.

“Damn, you’re right,” Idan nodded. “Okay, let’s go back then.”

“Okay,” — Arabel nodded, and the two of them, as they had entered, left the establishment hand in hand.

“But I’m not going to give up on this girl,” Arabel said, snuggling up to Idan.

“Well, we’ll definitely find a way to get her on our side without angering Darkia,” Idan said, hugging her gently. Then, hiding around the corner, they opened an Access Portal and returned back to the Kingdom.

***

No sooner had they returned than Arabel was captured by her mother and carried away.

Idan watched her disappear with a smile.

Following his original plans, Idan intended to travel to Limbo, but first he decided to find his sister Irene to get the latest news.

“How was the meeting?” asked Irene when she saw her brother’s appearance.

“Quite successfully,” — Idan replied, summarizing the events that had occurred during his conversation with Darkia. However, he kept silent about the Dark System that was behind all this, realizing that Irene and the others were still vulnerable to it, unlike themselves.

“What did you say? The Eastern continent?” Irene was surprised when she heard about the existence of the fourth continent.

“Yes, and as far as I understand, Elira just came from there,” Idan confirmed. He then described how the zones of influence of all five Incomplete Elemental Worlds in their world are currently distributed.

“Sister, I forgot to ask: have they all left?” — at the end of his story, Idan recalled the unusual guests at the wedding.

“Yes, they’re gone,” Irene nodded with a smile.

Idan sighed, feeling a little disappointed that he hadn’t said goodbye to them, but then he smiled, realizing that he would probably have the opportunity to see them again in the future.
