Chapter 589: Did you call us?
“4830 system points…” sighed Idan, watching the system points disappear. At the same time, all the Beast Soul Flowers, except those that were Platinum-ranked, were used to create Soul Crystals.
“I think that will be enough for the first time,” he said aloud and appeared next to Yulaya and the others.
By this point, Felicia had already shared the details with the others, and everyone was already aware of what had happened.
“Oh, did you finally deign to show up?” said Felicia with a slight irony in her voice.
“Family matters,” Idan shrugged with a slight smile, finally paying attention to the prisoners.
There were only 13 of them: 12 armed men of Silver rank and one Being of Light, whom Idan immediately recognized. All of their equipment had been removed and put away, and they were handcuffed under the Kingdom’s suppression.
“Lucian,” — Idan pronounced the name of a young man with long blond hair.
“Yes, that’s him,” Yulaya nodded. “And what should I do with them?”
“First, let the Doppelgangers mind their own business. As long as these people are in the Kingdom, they will not be able to escape anywhere, and they will not be able to harm us,” said Idan, looking at the Doppelgangers with whom the others had signed a contract and who had been guarding the prisoners all this time.
Yulaya nodded, and all the Doppelgangers, except for her Doppelganger and Hazel’s Doppelganger, went about their business.
While Idan was thinking about how to deal with the armed men, three beauties from Limbo appeared.
“Did you call us?” they asked.
Idan nodded and, turning to Alia, who was standing a little to the side, called out:
“Aliya, come here.”
As Aliya approached, Idan turned to Lucinda and Milena.
“Have you signed your second contract?”
“Not yet,” they both replied.
“I haven’t sated my first Beast Soul yet,” Milena added.
“Oh, here you go,” Idan handed Milena two crystals, one of which was of low quality and the other of medium quality. He wanted Milena to be able to saturate her first and form a second Beast Soul.
“Thank you,” Milena said happily, accepting the Soul Crystals.
Aliya was completely at a loss.
Firstly, she did not immediately recognize Idan, who appeared before her in his true form, and not in the image of Ignis.
Secondly, she was struck by the appearance of three charming girls who exuded familiar waves of light and darkness. One of them seemed completely unreal, because it combined both of these opposing elements, but at the same time looked completely calm and healthy.
“Is this girl who I think she is?” asked the third beauty, Sierra, who came with Lucinda and Milena at Idan’s call.
“Yeah. She’s from the same world as the Princess, but only from the Light side,” Idan confirmed.
His words immediately attracted the attention of Milena and Lucinda, who began to study Aliya with curiosity, which caused her anxiety.
At that moment, Aliya was already beginning to regret that she had asked to be abducted.
“Her name is Aliya,” Idan introduced her and immediately shared some information: “She originally had a platinum rank, but after our last meeting, her rank was lowered and the symbiotic Being of Light was taken away from her.”
“Oh,” everyone was surprised, including Sierra.
“She asked to join us, and I thought one of you two might be interested in her,” Idan said, looking at Lucinda and Milena.
They really looked interested.
“Why did you call me?” asked Sierra.
“Belle informed me that you taught her how to read memories.”
“Yes, but I still have no guarantees that the one whose memories I read will remain unharmed,” Sierra replied with a smile, noticing the many captive people. She began to guess why she was here, and, of course, it couldn’t help but make her happy.
Sierra wanted to practice reading memories, but so far she had no suitable candidates for experiments.
“Are either of you two interested in her?” asked Idan, turning his attention to Lucinda and Milena.
The two Valkyries exchanged glances and realized that both were showing interest in Aliya.
“There is another candidate. A Platinum—Ranked man,” Idan added, pointing at Lucian, who was sitting not far from them.
“A man?” — Milena frowned, and then said decisively, “No, I’ll pass. I’m not interested in him.”
“Me too,” — Lucinda shook her head.
Idan was surprised by the quick refusal of the two Valkyries and looked at Lucian with some sympathy.
“Okay, if you don’t need him, then what about the Being of Light he’s connected to?”
“Oh, do you know how to take it away?” Sierra was surprised.
“Take it away? Of course not. But I know how to divide it,” Idan replied.
The women, including Aliya, immediately understood what he meant. The three Valkyries who came from Limbo didn’t care what became of Lucian, but Aliya was of the same race as Lucian.
At first, she was scared and worried about Lucian’s fate, but then she remembered that he belonged to the same faction as her. Aliya remembered how this faction had forcibly taken her partner and intended to sacrifice her. And remembering that, she quickly suppressed her pity.
“But first, Sierra, I want you to try to read his memories and find out everything you can,” — Idan said.
“He decided to come against us and understood what he was doing, so I don’t feel sorry for him at all. You can do whatever you want with it. However, keep in mind that these creatures have a seal that prevents them from reading their memories.”
“Oh!”— instead of worrying, Sierra felt joy at the opportunity to get such an interesting test subject, and even belonging to the element of light. Having the seal only added to her excitement.
“You know how to spoil me, Idan. Do you want me to kiss you in gratitude?” she asked playfully.
“You know my answer. I don’t want to be beaten, or at worst, killed,” Idan replied, not giving in to Sierra’s advances, which he was already used to.
“Hehe,” Sierra burst into ringing laughter when she heard Idan’s words, and warmly thanked him: “Thank you for such a wonderful gift.”
“When you’re done, you can deal with him and capture the creature of light he’s related to and pass it on to your new little sister.”
“Little sister, it looks like you’re lucky,” Sierra smiled, embarrassing Milena.
“If that’s the case, then I’ll give up Aliya,” Milena replied. “Let big sister Lucinda try to establish a contract with her.”
“Thank you, little sister, for giving in,” Lucinda said.
Lucinda was really very interested in Aliya. After all, Aliya was a completely different creature from another world, from the same world as the Princess that Sierra had contracted with.
“And you, Idan, why don’t you sign a contract with her yourself?” asked Lucinda, and Sierra was also interested in this question. After all, Idan also had an affinity for the element of Light.
“I don’t want to limit myself to just the beasts, referring to the affinity to the elements,” Idan replied, and it was true. He felt that Aliya was not suitable for him.
“I think it’s because of younger sister that you decided not to sign a contract with her,” Sierra laughed, and the others smiled too, remembering how possessive their other sister was.
Leaving Aliya and Lucian in the care of the three Valkyries, Idan returned to Yulaya and the others to ponder and decide what to do with the remaining prisoners.
I would like to express my gratitude to those who give gifts, power stones and golden tickets. Your support allows me to stay motivated and continue working on the book.
