Chapter 586: New guests
“Indeed… There is a recommendation,” Idan confirmed in surprise, looking at the requirements for the second chain task of the System.
Where it used to be:
[Introduce your girlfriend to your parents and receive their blessing.
Mother’s blessing — not received.
Father’s blessing — not received]
There is a new line — “Recommendation”.
[Recommendation: Do your best and complete the quests before the Third Disaster begins.]
This chain quest didn’t have time limits before, but now that Arabel has encountered a second person connected to a mysterious being, the System strongly recommends that they complete it as soon as possible to unlock all the System’s features.
There were about three weeks left before the start of the third disaster.
“In other words, does the System suggest that we hurry up with the task and get married?” concluded Idan, without taking his eyes off the System window.
“So that’s it,” Arabel nodded, and her face flushed slightly.
Idan closed the system window and, looking with pleasure at the embarrassed and flushed Arabel, asked:
“Is that why you kidnapped your parents?”
“Partly yes, partly no,” she replied. “I didn’t run headlong, but I immediately worried about my parents. After making sure they were okay, and realizing that I needed to meet them anyway and introduce you to them, I decided to kidnap them.”
“It was only later, after checking the assignment, that I noticed it.”
Idan listened to Arabel’s explanation with a smile. He had wanted to meet her parents for a long time, but he did not expect it to happen so quickly and unexpectedly.
“Well, are we going to meet your parents?”
Arabel was very excited, but seeing that Idan was in a good mood and ready for the meeting, she felt confident. She also remembered her preparations.
Arabel believed that she could receive her parents’ blessing and quickly fulfill the System’s requirement.
In order to begin the third task, organizing the wedding, Idan also had to fulfill the requirements of the system.
Arabel couldn’t believe they were so close to getting married.
Until recently, it seemed like something far away to her.
After all, it’s only been a few months since they met and started dating.

Anna, opening her azure eyes, found herself staring at an unfamiliar ceiling. She blinked a few times and even rubbed her eyes, but the ceiling remained the same.
Anna clearly remembered going to sleep in her bed in the mansion on the Morgan family’s property. However, after thinking about it, she remembered how she woke up at night and felt something mysterious and black envelop her, and soon she lost consciousness. She thought it was just a dream, but now, finding herself in an unfamiliar room on an unfamiliar bed, she began to believe that it wasn’t a dream and that she had been abducted.
Excitement gripped Anna, and her heart began to beat at breakneck speed. Sitting up abruptly in bed, she discovered that there was someone next to her. Turning around, she saw him, her so-called husband.
He, like her, was dressed in pajamas and was fast asleep, hugging pillows with an exquisite pillowcase.
Although Anna and Richard were officially married and lived under the same roof, they rarely communicated, preferring the privacy of their rooms. But now they were in the same bed, as if someone had brought them here.
“Richard, Richard,” Anna called softly, trying to wake her husband.
“Hmm… just a minute more,” Richard muttered, waving her off with his hands. Anna, annoyed by his behavior, lightly hit him on the head, and he abruptly opened his eyes and sat up in bed.
“Ouch! What?” he exclaimed, but when he met Anna’s azure eyes, he froze.
“Ah… Anna… What are you doing in my room?” he asked, slightly confused and surprised.
“What’s your room? Look around, this isn’t your room, or even mine.” Anna wanted to hit him again, so that he would finally understand.
Richard, astonished, began to look around and actually discovered that they were in a completely unfamiliar room.
“Where are we?” he asked, but when he saw his wife’s naked body parts, he froze and swallowed hard.
As always, she was charming: her azure eyes, red hair, and curvy figure attracted the eye. However, her character left much to be desired.
“How should I know? I just woke up,” Anna said, noticing his gaze. She began to adjust her luxurious pajamas, trying to hide the exposed areas of her body.
Getting out of bed and looking around the room, they cautiously headed for the door, trying not to make any noise. Dawn was already breaking outside the window, heralding the arrival of a new day.
“Stay behind,” Richard said softly, stepping forward.
“Heh, since when did you become so bold?” asked Anna with a slight grin.
“After all, I’m your husband, and it’s my responsibility,” he replied with a serious expression on his face, continuing to walk quietly forward, which slightly surprised Anna.
With a snort, Anna followed him, but tried to stay close and slightly behind him.
Carefully and slowly opening the door, they found a clean, deserted corridor.
After exchanging glances, they held their breath and continued on their way.
Along the way, they didn’t encounter anything that could be used as a weapon if they encountered any danger.
At the end of the hallway, they found a spacious living room and a luxurious kitchen.
Despite the space, the atmosphere of warmth and comfort reigned in the room.
While they were looking at each other, footsteps were heard from the stairs leading to the second floor. Worried, they stepped back, but collided with each other and fell to the floor with a bang.
“Oh, shit, get off me!” exclaimed Anna, trying to push Richard away, who was leaning on her.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” apologizing, Richard got up and, turning around, noticed a small girl at the stairs, who was silently looking at them.
She had sleepy eyes, horns, and a wriggling tail. When her gaze fell on Anna, she was surprised, and then she smiled.
“Oh, Mistress, it’s you!” Emily exclaimed joyfully, mistaking Anna for Arabel.
“Mistress?” — Anna was surprised, not understanding what was going on.
Richard, for his part, was equally puzzled.
Emily thought her mistress’s behavior was strange. Rubbing her eyes and looking closely, she discovered that a completely different woman was standing in front of her, but very similar to Arabel.
“Ah… You’re not her!” exclaimed Emily. “Who are you? And why do you look so much like the lady?”
“What is it, Emily?” a woman’s voice asked, and Emily heard someone coming down from the second floor.
“Oh, Grandma Ivette, we have new guests,” Emily said, pointing at Anna and Richard.
“New guests?” — Ivette was surprised, going down to the first floor. She was holding her grandson in her arms, who was already awake and a little active.
Since she found out that Idan had returned and that this house belonged to him and his fiancee, Ivette stopped constantly sitting in the bedroom and sometimes went out for a walk with her grandson.
Early this morning, Ivette woke up and wanted to make herself a coffee. She went downstairs, taking her grandson with her because she didn’t want to leave him alone. The Nanny her daughter had recently hired had gone out in the middle of the night and hadn’t returned yet.
Anna and Richard, seeing that this was a slightly harmless middle-aged woman, relaxed. But then their gaze fell on the little baby being held by this woman, and they were both immediately attracted by the bright red color of the baby’s hair, which was very similar to the shade of Anna’s hair.
Yvette also noticed Anna and immediately noticed that she looked very much like Arabel. Knowing that only those who were allowed by Idan and Arabel could enter this place, she immediately guessed who these two were.
At that moment, the front door opened and Irene entered the house, followed by Arslan. Both of them froze, barely crossing the threshold, when they saw the new guests.
Arslan was most shocked when he recognized his parents. He even started rubbing his eyes, thinking he was imagining things.
“Mom, Dad,” Arslan called.
Anna and Richard were also very surprised to see Arslan and hear his voice.
“Eh? Your parents?” Irene’s calm and slightly cold face twitched, and like a frightened cat, she turned to Arslan, seeking confirmation.
