“I think those five men lied to us,” Felicia concluded. “I’m more inclined to believe that the information is correct, and that all of them, including Carl, lost their families during the disaster.”

“I think so too, but why were they so sure of the opposite then?” asked Leo, slightly doubtful.

“Well, their words, their manner of speaking and behaving seemed real, and this convinced us that they were telling the truth, although in fact they were probably telling lies, which they sincerely believed,” Felicia expressed her suspicion.
