Chapter 567: It’s time for a gift

While they were lost in their thoughts, there was a clink, and the empty dishes and utensils disappeared again, leaving only empty glasses, a bottle, and a few candles. The music started playing, and the bottle with the drink began to move, filling the glasses of the couple.

“Maybe we should dance again,” Arabel suggested after a short silence.

“With pleasure,” Idan agreed, getting up from his seat and walking over to Arabel. She stood up to meet him, and they held hands and walked back to the same distance.

The music stopped and started playing as soon as the couple took their positions and were ready.

Idan smoothly followed Arabel’s movements, paying more attention and not allowing emotions to take over, as was the case in the previous dance. Seeing that Idan was not far behind her, Arabel picked up her pace slightly.

This time, both Idan and Arabel got a completely new experience from dancing, and they loved it. Finally, a smile appeared on Arabel’s face, and Idan, seeing her smile, did not remain indifferent and also smiled.

“System,” — Idan said to his assistant as the dance came to an end. “Please put those earrings in my spatial ring.”

Idan checked his spatial ring and found the earrings he had bought in Rumbus City as a gift for Arabel.

While watching the images of the memories, Idan hid from her only the moment of the purchase of these earrings. He kept them for a very long time, forgetting to give them away. And now, the right moment had finally arrived, and he wasn’t going to put it off any longer.

“Close your eyes,” Idan asked when the dance was over.

Arabel was slightly surprised, but after listening to his request, she closed her eyes with a slight emotion.

“What is he going to do?” A thought flashed through her mind.

“You can open it,” Idan said.

Arabel opened her eyes and saw a small, slightly open case. Inside it were two snow-white earrings in the shape of ice crystals, decorated with a mysterious blue stone, which immediately attracted her attention.

“This?” she said, admiring the decoration. Lifting her head, she looked at Idan.

“This is what I bought back in Rumbus City as a gift for you before I returned to Limbo. But I couldn’t find the right moment to give it away,” admitted Idan.

Arabel gasped, but quickly covered her mouth with her hands, remembering the very moment in Idan’s memories that he hadn’t shown her.

“Do you want to try it on?” Idan asked, and Arabel happily agreed.

Arabel had already had her ears pierced, but she didn’t like wearing earrings. However, she decided to make an exception for Idan and try on his gift. She really liked the earrings themselves, and she couldn’t wait to show them to Idan.

“How’s it going?” she asked, and Idan couldn’t help but compliment her.:

“You look beautiful!”

Idan’s compliment made the butterflies in Arabel’s stomach flutter again.

Arabel blushed with embarrassment, realizing that she didn’t have a gift for Idan, unlike him. But then she remembered something and, blushing even more, looked down and said softly, “Dan, I also have a gift, but I can’t give it now. This requires a special condition.”

Idan was very surprised by Arabel’s admission. When he was preparing the gift, he didn’t expect her to give him something in return.

“This gift is also connected with memories that I, like you, decided to hide from you,” Arabel confessed, and those moments immediately appeared in Idan’s head that she did not show him.

And what looked like a gift the most was related to the reward Arabel had received from a random lottery.

Seeing Arabel’s intense embarrassment, Idan roughly guessed what it might be, and an excited smile immediately appeared on his face, which he quickly hid.

Including the gift from the Supreme Lust System, which Arabel also decided to hide from him, Idan began to look forward to their future together even more.

“I’m not in a hurry and I’ll be happy to wait,” Idan replied with a smile. He pulled her to him and kissed her gently on the lips. Arabel gladly returned his kiss.

At that moment, the bell rang again, attracting their attention.

“Let’s go,” Idan said with a smile, and they both returned to the table.

When Idan sat down, Arabel, instead of taking her place, came over and settled into his lap as usual.

“I want to sit here,” she said, looking at Idan.

“As you wish,” he replied, hugging her.

As if someone had been watching them intently all this time, after a slight light effect, several dessert bowls appeared in front of them. The dessert resembled the ice cream familiar to the couple from their world, with various fillings.

Arabel’s eyes lit up at the sight of dessert. Taking a spoon, she scooped up a small piece of ice cream from the bowl she liked. However, instead of putting the treat in her mouth, she held it up to Idan.

“Say ‘Ah,'” she said with a smile.

When Idan heard the command, Idan said “Ah,” and Arabel handed him her piece of ice cream.

“How does it taste?” she asked curiously.

“The taste is just great,” Idan replied enthusiastically.

“And the images didn’t appear?” asked Arabel.

“No, they didn’t show up,” Idan shook his head.

Arabel then scooped another piece of ice cream from another bowl and brought it back to Idan’s lips. He opened his mouth, but to his surprise, Arabel quickly took the ice cream and ate it herself, leaving Idan with his mouth open and a surprised look.

“Hehehe,” she giggled, looking at his funny expression.
