Chapter 482: A second visit to Leo

After Arabel left, Idan did not have to wait long. In the same place, a portal opened in front of the lawn to the house, and a puzzled Hailey appeared from it. She looked around, trying to figure out where she was.

“Hailey,” — Idan called, sitting in a comfortable chair on the terrace.

“Come here,” he called to Hailey, intending to briefly explain the situation to her before heading into Limbo.

Surprised by Idan’s voice, and then by his appearance, Hailey slowed her pace slightly, and then walked over to him and sat down opposite. On his own territory, Idan decided not to use disguise, which, of course, attracted Hailey’s attention.

Hailey, realizing Arabel’s danger, quickly pulled herself together and put aside the strange thoughts. However, no matter how hard she tried, her gaze would return to Idan from time to time. His appearance was too attractive for her eyes.

“Hailey,” — Idan called out, noticing that the girl’s thoughts were preoccupied with something else.

“Oh, yeah,” Hailey replied quickly.

“Listen, I’m going away for a while soon, and you’re going to be here alone,” — Idan began. “Don’t worry, other guests will join you soon. My sister, Belle’s brother, and the other Guild members, so please meet them.”

“And so, this place…” Idan quickly and briefly explained what kind of place and house it was.

Hailey, of course, was very surprised to find herself inside the very barrier she had read about online and seen on the news.

What struck her the most was that now, it turns out, this was Idan and Arabel’s personal territory.

“Have they built a house yet?” Hailey said in her mind when she heard what kind of house it was.

Having finished explaining to Hailey what was needed, Idan, who had previously given the system the command to teleport, stepped aside and disappeared, moving into Limbo. He left Hailey, who was trying to figure it all out, and the two little foxes frolicking merrily on the lawn.

After returning to the hotel, Arabel sent Hailey to their private territory. Taking on the form of a Dark Valkyrie and using concealment, she took the Sphere of Secret Concealment into her spatial ring.

Arabel then decided to visit Leo first to find out his decision. After that, she planned to go to Irene and the others to return to their territory with them and explain the situation while they waited for Idan and the others to return from Limbo.

In making this decision, Arabel took into account the time difference between Limbo and earth. She was sure that Idan, unlike her, would not immediately begin to bind the territory. First, he would find out the news on the other side, talk to the others, and only then would he get down to business.

It certainly gave her a little more time on this side.

Arabel quickly got to Leo’s house and, as she had the day before, slipped inside unnoticed by everyone except Leo himself.

As before, Leo’s mother was busy cooking dinner, and Leo’s younger sister, wearing headphones, was lying in her room, texting with someone on her smartphone. Leo’s older brother was not at home again.

Leo already knew Arabel was here, and he was looking forward to her. However, this time he was more collected and calmer than the day before.

When Arabel revealed herself, Leo, despite his best efforts to remain calm, began to worry. Years of isolation and self-doubt immediately made themselves felt.

“Go… good evening… Mmm… Miss… E… Elsa,” Leo stammered, and he wanted to sink into the ground. He was so embarrassed and ashamed of his behavior.

“Good evening, Leo,” Arabel greeted him, tipping her hat.

Seeing this gesture, Leo became even more worried.

“So, what is your response to our proposal, Leo?” Arabel immediately went to the main question.

Leo shifted uncomfortably in his seat.

“Miss… Elsa,” he said, then, after taking several deep breaths and exhaling, continued, “Do I have to leave my house if I join you?”

“Yes, Leo, you will have to leave your home if you join our Guild,” Arabel said bluntly.

Hearing this answer, Leo felt very bad.

Leo didn’t know what to choose. On the one hand, he wanted to join, but on the other, he didn’t want to leave his family.

“Understand, Leo, we are not demanding that you sever ties with your family. If you want to take them with you and they don’t mind, then we are ready to provide them with a safe place next to you,” Arabel said. Now that they had their own territory, placing three mere mortals there was no problem for them.

“We can even help them start their path of cultivation,” Arabel added, recalling that they could help Leo’s family improve along the Path of Beast Tamer.

“What?” Leo exclaimed, stunned by Arabel’s words. “This is… It’s not a joke, is it?”

“No, it’s not a joke,” Arabel assured him. “We have a way to help mortals cultivate.”

For Leo, it was the most important thing to help his family cultivate. His older brother had already passed the age of 20 and, like his mother, could not become an awakened one.

As for the younger sister, Leo couldn’t be sure yet. She was still too young, and he didn’t know what the future held for them.

“But I want to stay at home for a while longer, and I also want my family to be with me,” he stated his wishes.

“If that’s what you want, then so be it,” Arabel agreed. Then she added: “You better start thinking about how to let your family know you’re an awakened one and convince them to leave their home.”

“If you need help with this, you can contact us, we will help,” she added.

“Okay,” Leo agreed.

Having received Leo’s consent, Arabel was very pleased. In their opinion, Leo’s ability was incredibly valuable, and Arabel was glad that they had discovered him before anyone else.

“Uh… Miss Elsa,” Leo said, distracting Arabel from her thoughts. “May I ask how you found out about me?”

“From Isabella?” Arabel interrupted him as Leo stammered.

Leo nodded at Arabel’s question.

“Since you’ve joined us, I think you should know about it,” Arabel said, changing her appearance to that of Isabella White.

Leo was extremely surprised. Over the past few days, he had repeatedly seen the image of the girl Arabel had turned into, and was trying to gather information about her.
