Chapter 2134: My dear Father-in-law, where is he?

“So…

What do we do now…?

Do we… let Vexarion go?”

Sharnoth questioned in a low voice, her fists trembling in frustration and helplessness.

As much as she wanted her revenge, she wasn’t foolish enough to charge right in when she knew that all this might be a trap set by their enemies in order to catch her.

If she were alone, it was a different scenario. This was the same woman who pretty much sold herself to another being just for the sake of her revenge. Even if she knew it was all a trap, if there was even a sliver of a chance of her getting her revenge, she would go in.

But now, things were different.

She was no longer alone.

She now had someone who was prepared to help her, someone who went against the Supreme Worlds for her sake.

She…

She wasn’t shameless enough to ask this person to risk not just his but his entire family’s life for her sake.

She couldn’t possibly ask him to walk into a trap knowingly.

Thinking all that, Sharnoth prepared herself, forcefully calming her feelings and suppressing her vengeful thoughts.

She had waited for a hundred thousand years, she could wait longer, for billions, trillions of years if she had to.

But…

Nux’s answer was different than what she was expecting.

“Of course not.”

The man shook his head.

“I promised you revenge and I will fulfill that promise.”

“But you just said this might be a trap set by the Infinities.”

Sharnoth answered. She then looked into his eyes and with a solemn look on her face—

“Nux, don’t be foolish.

Infinities are different from beings you have faced before,

They are…

There is a reason they have Absolute Authority in the entirety of the Universe.”

The Heir of Chaos spoke, turning towards Nux’s wives and—

“Say something.”

She urged, wanting a little support.

The wives, however, were a little taken aback.

Yes, Nux’s words didn’t exactly surprise them, they all knew Nux wouldn’t go back on his words, his pride wouldn’t allow him to.

But…

His love for them was far higher than his pride.

This was the man who would turn the entire Universe around for the sake of his wives.

So willingly walking into a trap set up by Infinities was definitely not something he would normally do, after all, this very act would put the wives he cherished in danger.

So…

What was he planning?

The women wondered.

“I have no intention of endangering myself, don’t worry.”

Nux shook his head, trying to calm Sharnoth.

But—

“You are going against Infinities.”

She countered.

“My target is only an Eternal.”

Nux answered.

“Only an Eternal…”

Vyriana repeated those words with an empty smile on her face.

To think this man would not even put Eternal Level beings in his eyes.

Of course, she knew this was going to happen one day. Considering the monster’s potential, it was obvious it was going to happen but…

To think it would happen so quickly.

‘Would I stand a chance against him in a fight…?’

For a moment, the Dragon wondered in her head, but very quickly, she abandoned that thought.

It was impossible.

Yes, she was a Transcendent as well but…

Nux was…

He was something… much different.

The way he played around with Zarveth while holding a crazy Sharnoth with one hand was more than enough to prove it.

They weren’t in the same league.

They never were.

In the end, the Dragon shook her head again, getting all these thoughts out and focusing on the conversation.

“An Eternal protected by Infinities.”

Sharnoth retorted.

“Trust me, I have plans of facing Infinities.

I know my limits,

I might be strong, but I will not foolishly test my strength against Infinities.”

Nux shook his head.

He didn’t say he would lose because honestly… he did not know.

With him now being able to use his complete strength after using his Domain, he wasn’t sure if an Infinity could actually defeat him.

But…

Infinities were tricky opponents and he had next to no information about them. Facing them just to test his current strength was foolish, especially when this action could put his wives’ lives at risk.

“Nux, what are you thinking?”

Melia questioned directly.

“I am still not sure, but I might have a way.”

Nux began.

“What does that mean?”

Sharnoth asked.

“We need outside help to confirm it.”

“Who is going to help us?”

The Heir of Chaos asked another question. She was one hundred percent sure that her people back in Khaemorr were currently under the Supreme Worlds’ scrutiny, plus, they weren’t exactly strong enough to help them.

“Well, there are people.”

Nux chuckled as he then contacted someone who might be able to help them.

‘Mother.’

He called out using their connection.

‘Nux? Are you alright? The Universe just reacted and this time, it is much angrier than before? What did you do? Are you in the Main Universe? I have been trying to contact you, but I couldn’t. I couldn’t enter your Universe either, something restricted me. What happened? Is everything alright? Where are yo—’

Faustina replied instantly, asking a series of questions without taking a single breath. It was clear that the woman was worried, and she had all rights to be.

‘Mother, I am fine.

Calm down.’

Nux answered in a low voice, interrupting her in the middle of her words.

‘Where are you?’

Faustina questioned in a tone that made it clear that she needed an instant, direct answer.

‘I am in my Universe. You couldn’t enter the Universe because it was undergoing some changes, it is all done now, I have released the entry restrictions, you can return anytime you want to.’

Nux explained.

‘As for what happened, I will tell you everything later, but right now, I need your help.’

He spoke in an urgent voice and very quickly, Faustina’s tone changed.

‘What do you need?’

‘My dear Father-in-law, where is he?’

Nux questioned with a playful smile.

‘Where else?

He is cultivating, as always.’

Faustina answered with a flat, bored sigh. It was clear that she was already used to this sight of Azriel cultivating, too used in fact.

‘I need to talk to him.’
