Chapter 2132: Intuition

“I-I am telling you, t-that is not me.”

Sharnoth spoke for the nth time as the rest of the women surrounded her. In front of them, there was a huge screen that showed Sharnoth attacking Nux with a huge, almost perverted smile on her face.

“It definitely looks like you…”

Felberta spoke in a low, teasing voice, staring at the woman on the screen and the one hovering in front of her.

“Indeed, indeed, she looks drunk.”

Shadow laughed, walking behind Sharnoth with a cheeky grin.

“I do not drink and that is not me.”

Sharnoth repeated herself, staring at the woman who did not act the way she looked one bit. Rather than her, it looked like the woman had another personality inside her body that had now taken control over her body.

“Wow, you are that boring huh…

How can you live without a drink?”

Shadow shook her head, disappointed.

The rest of the women stared at her with flat looks on their faces. Every single one of them wanted to say that Shadow didn’t drink either but, in the end, knowing that they would only get a shameless answer and might even get Shadow to start drinking—they decided it was better to continue targeting the woman who was actually worth targeting.

“I wonder if you were doing this just to get Nux’s attention?”

Allura questioned with a playful smile on her face as she stared at Sharnoth. Sharnoth blinked at that question and replied instantaneously—

“Wha—No I did not do it to get his attention! Why would I want that!?”

“So you do admit it was you.”

Allura grinned.

The rest of the women grinned as well, acting like predators who had finally caught their prey.

“I—”

Sharnoth tried to defend herself from the group but then—

“You people sure are getting along.”

Nux, who was finally done with dealing with everything, appeared with a grin on his face.

“You took your sweet time.”

Shadow commented. As the Soul of the Universe, she saw Nux standing straight, staring at the void after reading Zarveth’s and Neremoth’s memories and turning them into his subordinates.

“I was… thinking.”

Nux spoke in a low voice.

“About what?”

Shadow questioned, tilting her head in confusion.

Nux glanced at Sharnoth and before he could say anything, Amaya answered Shadow’s question with an expressionless look on her face.

“About Vexarion.”

Nux glanced at Amaya and nodded grimly.

As for Sharnoth… her very attitude changed the moment she heard those words.

“What about him?”

She questioned, staring at Nux.

Usually, every time Nux talked about Vexarion, he looked confident. Even before, when he wasn’t strong enough to defeat him, with countless tricks up his sleeve, he could easily fool him into falling for his trap.

Not to mention, now he was powerful enough to take down two Eternal Level Supreme Borns who were incomparably more powerful than Vexarion. Someone like Vexarion shouldn’t even be a problem worth mentioning to him.

Then why…

Why did his expression look so grim?

Sharnoth couldn’t understand.

But Amaya was different.

“The Supreme Worlds…”

She began, the rest of the women turned towards her and with a solemn look on her face, she continued,

“The Supreme Worlds might protect him.”

“I do not understand.”

Sharnoth frowned.

“They do not have the reason to do that.”

“They didn’t have a reason before everything that happened.”

Amaya answered.

“What do you mean?”

Sharnoth’s frown deepened.

After all—

“They shouldn’t even know what happened here. The Eternal from the Supreme World of Eternity completely sealed the space around us. The rest of the Universe, including the Supreme Worlds, shouldn’t know what happened inside, else everything Zarveth did would be all for naught.”

The woman muttered.

Amaya, however, shook her head.

“If that was the case, he wouldn’t be making that face.”

She spoke as she glanced at Nux.

“Nux…”

Sharnoth called out, turning towards Nux as well.

“…what happened?”

She asked.

“I am having a hard time believing that the Infinities did not know what happened. Now I do not have a way to prove what I say, but… my instincts are telling me something doesn’t add up here.”

Nux answered honestly.

“What do you mean?”

Astaria questioned.

“I read Zarveth’s memories, I saw how the Infinities, despite being the so-called strongest beings in the Universe, erased their abilities, their faces, and even their names from their subordinates’ minds.

Both Zarveth and Neremoth knew nothing about the Infinities, the Infinities constantly manipulated their memories to make that happen, and both Eternals had no clue this was happening to them.”

Nux explained.

“And…?”

Astaria tilted her head, confused.

This wasn’t the first time she had heard about something like this; many beings manipulated their subordinates’ memories.

What was the big deal?

“They are cautious.

Too cautious.”

Nux spoke with a solemn look on his face.

“It is almost… unnatural.

It seems as if they are wary of something.”

“What does this have to do with them knowing what happened here…?”

Sharnoth couldn’t understand; the rest of the women, including Amaya and Aeliana, had the same question in their minds.

And Nux…

He just shook his head.

“As I said… I have no way to prove my words.

It is all an intuition, really.

I am… having a difficult time believing that all-powerful beings who would go out of their way to make sure their subordinates have no memory of them, would purposefully let a subordinate have a way to hide things from them.

Do not forget, these are the same beings that keep an eye on the entirety of the Universe through their relics, I confirmed that from Zarveth’s memories.

Do you truly believe that the Infinity Relics he used in the battle won’t have a function that reports everything back to Eternity’s Infinity?”

Nux questioned and for a moment, the women turned silent.

Nux, on the other hand, stared at Sharnoth and continued.

“My face may not be well known, but if the Infinities saw your face, they will connect it to Khaemorr, Aurendor and your connection with the Leander Family.

If that is truly the case,

Then it wouldn’t be difficult to narrow down our next target to… pretty much just Vexarion.

They would be fools if they did not make any preparations for that.”

Ugghh…

Hello.

I don’t even know what to say.

I will start with an apology.

Sorry for not uploading any chapters for this long time.

I do not know why this keeps happening, it all started with that first break I took and I swear to god it feels like someone’s using some sort of black magic on me.

A day after my birthday, I got sick. Things were still manageable, so I was able to write for the next few days, but then it got worse and worse. I couldn’t stare at the screen for too long, so writing became a nightmare.

I have this bad habit of not taking any medicine during common cold because, well, idk I want to heal naturally or whatever.

But when things were getting out of hands and fever wasn’t coming down at all for days, I had no choice but to go to a doctor, he told me it was some viral, a strong one that might take weeks to recover from.

I started taking medicine but I still couldn’t stare at the screen, in the end, I decided to take a break. I thought it would only take a few days, but I don’t know, even after taking medicine, I wasn’t recovering.

I was forcing myself to write my other book because I didn’t want to end my writing streak that I’ve built for nearly three years now.

Anyways, just as doctor said, weeks passed but I didn’t recover, the odd thing was that my condition didn’t get better either. Every time I stare at screen, I would get a fever, so my parents took away laptop and mobile.

I only got my laptop for 2 hours to write and every time I finished writing, the fever and headache felt like a nightmare.

I tried getting back to writing shgs as well, forcing myself to write it, but because it had been a while, I needed to read about the last 50 chapters, which meant more screen time and honestly, with my health, my reading speed deteriorated.

Even now, my health isn’t the best, m barely holding up writing chapters for two books, but at the very least, I have managed to get a few chapters and get back into the flow.

I will start uploading daily chapters from now again, unless I am like, completely bed ridden and cannot write no matter how much I force myself.

I hope this time my next break in shgs comes when it is finally ended.

Thank you for staying with me,

And I am so so so so sorry for all this.

Also, I still won’t be answering any dms or mentions, my head still hurts when I stare at the screen for too long, I hope you guys understand.

Take care of your health guys.

Love love.
