“If it’s not enough, we can use my illusion specialist to let him elaborate. But his soul is stronger than anyone I have encountered thus far, so I don’t know if it will succeed or not.”

Evelyn added, “Isn’t that how you have been interrogating people? It’s worked perfectly all this time.”

“…” Nathan was speechless, while Johnson looked away, acting as if he couldn’t hear anything.

Evelyn whispered, “Why don’t you say the same thing? I can hold you accountable if you don’t keep your promise.”

With the emperor’s arrangement, they got into a new room and used the Soul Contract to interrogate the queen and the right guardian.
