Capítulo 1396: Overwhelming Power

Nathan took a deep breath as he first summoned Fenrir. Unfortunately, it didn’t look like he could summon Kun or Peng here, as their size was too big for the city to accommodate. Even Orochi might end up destroying a huge part of the city if summoned. At most, he could summon Nidhogg and Jinwu.

“You can blast everything away, Fenrir.” Nathan nodded as he also released his own Void Bullets.

“Manifest. Rewrite…” Melissa suddenly stopped for a moment. “Wait a minute. What the hell is your element?”

“Huh?” Nathan tilted his head in confusion. “I have two elements, space and time.”

“…” Melissa’s eyebrows twitched. “No, I know that already from the sparring match between you and your teacher, but I should have been able to rewrite your power if it’s only that. But this…”

Melissa looked confused and troubled. She truly didn’t know what was wrong with Nathan’s elements. “Are you a monster? I can’t rewrite your power.”

Nathan pointed to Fenrir. “How about his power?”

Melissa tried to activate her power before shaking her head. “No. I can’t rewrite his power either.”

“…” Nathan and Fenrir looked at each other dumbfoundedly. Fenrir asked, “Because of divinity? But if that’s the case, it should work on you. Or do you have any divinity that even Xolotl can’t see?”

“We can talk about this later.” Nathan shook his head. “If you can’t rewrite my power, that’s fine. In that case, we will change our strategy slightly. Focus on using traps to ensure the success of the operation.”

Melissa smiled wryly. It looked like she had no other choice. “Alright. I will do that.”

She never thought she would take on this role. It was true her traps were effective, but her role was similar to Serafina’s, not just that of a mere trapper. She just muttered while looking away, “What kind of monster does Vivian actually take in?”

Since their original plan couldn’t proceed, Nathan had to adjust his plan slightly. Nevertheless, they should have enough power to overwhelm the enemy. After all, there were at most crystal armor stage summoners in this place.

Nathan formed a total of 12 void bullets and launched them toward the base.

The void bullets traveled parabolically, like a cannonball. Suddenly, two people jumped into the sky, covering themselves with red-colored energy. They actually deflected the void bullets away.

However, Nathan was one step ahead. He simply shot normal bullets at his void bullets, causing the void bullets to be unstable and ultimately explode.

Boom!

Boom!

A series of explosions occurred. The explosion was a void explosion, producing no smoke. Everyone could hear the rumbling sounds as the buildings collapsed due to the void expansions.

Qilin, who witnessed this power, immediately stepped onto the ground. A massive trigram appeared on the ground. “Heaven and Earth Barrier.”

The trigram shone and shot up screens of light that isolated the base inside.

Mae and Anubis had positioned themselves. Their role was to make sure there were no civilian casualties.

Seeing the sudden ambush, one crystal stage summoner shouted, “Who the hell are you?!”

The other gave an order out loud. “Enemy attack. All summoners, call your familiars. We are fighting!”

Familiars appeared one after another.

Suddenly, Fenrir leaped into the air. Since a lot of people had known about his power, he didn’t bother to hide it anymore. He predicted that the nobles had found out about his familiars, as the empire couldn’t protect that information.

As such, it was better to go loud and surprise everyone. This kind of shock would be beneficial to Nathan. No, it was only possible because Nathan and the group had decided to hide themselves. Even if they wanted to know about them, they could simply use teleportation to move away.

With the new space rings, they could bring the entire building with them, so relocation was easy.

As such, Fenrir leaped into the sky.

People couldn’t help but widen their eyes.

“A big wolf?”

“What is that wolf?”

“A familiar?”

“Is there even a wolf as someone’s familiar?”

The people were confused, but the power of Fenrir shocked them even more.

Fenrir gathered his power into his lungs. The Absolute Force flew out of his mouth, but the power in this attack was different from before.

“Stop it!”

The leaders shouted at the same time. They and their familiars tried to stop Fenrir’s attack with a massive barrier, but the moment the Absolute Force hit the barrier, it shattered the barrier and blasted them to the ground.

Qilin’s barrier cracked all over as all the people in the city could feel the ground shake violently for a few seconds.

Boom!

Fenrir’s attack was filled with divinity. Nathan noticed that power alone was much more terrifying than his void bullets.

Melissa’s eyebrows twitched. “Is there even a need for me to be here? This familiar… I’m afraid that he is even stronger than Duke Coline.”

“I’m here as well!” Jinwu activated his battle form and flapped his wings. Peng was flying above the clouds the whole time, using his wind to clear all the clouds within the city.

Everyone couldn’t help but widen their eyes in shock when they saw a massive bird that could easily wipe out the city with its body appear in the sky. But this was the extent of Peng’s role. He disappeared soon after clearing the path for Jinwu.

The sunlight was the least of their worries until Jinwu activated his domain. The sun felt like it suddenly grew bigger, causing the temperature to increase drastically.

With the people’s attention returning to the sun, they couldn’t help but tear up. The sky had never been so clear before, and the sun looked even more majestic.

Some people couldn’t help but fall to their knees. “Praise the sun.”

“How I miss the sun!”

Even the people in the cult had a similar reaction. Whether they were friends or foes, all the people in this world were longing for the sun after it disappeared over a year ago.

“Sun Flame!”

“Chaos Flame!”

Nidhogg suddenly dove from the sky and released his breath at the same time as Jinwu, not wanting to lose against him.

The two leaders were confused. When their people suddenly acted weird as they saw this overwhelming power, the two leaders had the same thought. ‘Who in the world attacks us?’
