Capítulo 1393: Nathan’s Crystal Fusion

“So, are you really watching?” Nathan smiled wryly, turning to Vivian.

Vivian nodded. “This is a big moment for you, so I definitely should watch it. I never thought it would only take you 2 years to surpass me.”

“Thanks to you.”

Vivian rolled her eyes. “Both of us know it’s not true. My part is only a little, such as providing you the first environment as well as the herbs for your body. The rest is something you achieve yourself.”

Nathan smiled wryly. “What are you talking about?”

“That’s enough. I know everything.” Vivian raised her hand, stopping him from talking about it further. She didn’t plan to take any credit for his growth. “Either way, I’m here to watch. It’s not like I have anything to do. My familiars are currently absorbing the cores, so I’m free right now.”

“I’m watching you as well, dear husband. I’m not going to lose to everyone!” Charlotte raised her hand excitedly.

Nathan just nodded in response to Charlotte’s excitement. He couldn’t find any reason to reject her, nor did he intend to. And since Vivian wanted to watch, he agreed. “Alright.”

He first grabbed the medicine. Even though his objective was to create two fusions with one medicine, his priority was definitely Fenrir.

The moment he took the medicine, he felt the energy calming down in his body.

‘Fenrir. Let’s begin.’ Nathan closed his eyes and started concentrating.

Fenrir and Nathan immediately began circulating their own ena. The Crystal Fusion was a bit different from the armor. After all, if the crystal armor was something created outside the body, the crystal fusion changed the body directly.

In other words, the fragment of summoning would enter the summoners’ bodies and change them from within.

The image of a werewolf appeared in his mind. This was the only form that Nathan could think of for their crystal fusion.

However, he wanted to change a few parts so that it would match his fighting style. The werewolf in his mind, of course, was not a human who could change his body from human to wolf.

Instead, it was the body of a human with some parts being a wolf.

Nathan planned to concentrate Fenrir’s power due to his Absolute Force. He concentrated that power into five parts. The first one was the most obvious—ears.

He needed Fenrir’s instinct and hearing, so the ears were definitely important. It also improved the concept of the Crystal Sense.

The second part was his eyes. Fenrir’s eyes allowed him to see much further and even more detailed, not to mention they allowed him to see in the dark. With these eyes, he could be more flexible.

The third part was his skin. Of course, he wasn’t planning to cover his body in fur. Instead, it was like a layer of coating to increase the overall toughness of his skin. He might be as tough as an alien because of this enhancement.

The fourth part was his tail. According to Fenrir, the tail was the most important because he relied on it to keep his balance.

Last but not least, his hands and feet. Fenrir’s mobility would make him tricky. Besides, he often used the Spatial Collapse, so this enhancement would further improve the Spatial Collapse.

With Fenrir’s divinity, Nathan could feel a bit more assured in fighting against someone stronger. At least he wouldn’t worry his family too much.

While the concept was pretty simple, the process itself took a long time. If not for the medicine, it might take weeks or even months due to the resistance.

Thankfully, he had the medicine, and Fenrir was also a divine beast who could easily cooperate with him.

As a result, it took him only one and a half hours before he transformed.

Vivian couldn’t help but widen her eyes. Nathan’s appearance had changed. His human ears had disappeared due to the fusion. Instead, a pair of long and pointy wolf ears appeared on the top of his head.

These white ears dyed Nathan’s black hair white. Paired with the sharp golden wolf eyes that were revealed as he opened his eyes, his entire aura had completely changed.

Nathan used to look cheerful and easygoing, but this time, he looked serene and cold. A long, graceful tail appeared on his back.

As he raised his hands, his nails grew and sharpened like claws. It looked like he could retract it and summon it at will.

Vivian thought this was probably what Nathan would look like if he ended up being all serious instead of the playful and lustful self.

Suddenly, she heard a small, excited chuckle from the side. “Hehehehe, my husband. He’s now a bad boy.”

When Vivian turned around, she saw Charlotte drooling.

Vivian was rather speechless with her familiar. Then again, she could understand her. Though, Vivian couldn’t help but freeze when Nathan was sweeping his hair up as if he was trying to check his hair.

Without her realizing it, she couldn’t look away from her own student.

Nathan looked to the side and waved his hand as his claws sent forth the Absolute Force like that of a blade.

The Absolute Force hit a small hill, which ended up piercing a little too deep, so that the foundation became a bit unstable. The hill even tilted slightly.

“…” Nathan widened his eyes in surprise. The strength was actually greater than he’d originally expected.

If he shot this hill with the Absolute Force, he might be able to obliterate it completely. However, he chose to charge that force and aimed the pistol up and pulled the trigger.

The Absolute Force burst in the sky, creating a hole over one kilometer in diameter.

“So, this is your strength, Fenrir.” Nathan smiled, satisfied. It looked like it was indeed worth it to bring a familiar up to the 10 million ena mark.

“Satisfied?”

“Definitely.”

He almost forgot that Vivian was watching. Looking at the cheering Charlotte and the dumbfounded Vivian, Nathan walked to them and extended his hand, offering help to get up. “Thank you for protecting me.”

Vivian’s body remained frozen as her brain kept recalling what Luna had said to her.

She couldn’t help but ask herself. Does she start lusting after her own student?
