Capítulo 1390: Perfect (Low)

Nathan absorbed the lower-level cores first. The elite class cores were the most important and gave much more energy, so it was better to absorb them after he increased his quality.

Unfortunately, after absorbing all the cores, he didn’t see any increase in his quality.

It was quite disappointing, but it couldn’t really be helped. Still, thanks to the manual, by the time he finished absorbing all the cores from the proto-class to warrior class mutant cores, his ena had gone from 5 million to almost 13 million.

It was more than enough for him, but to become a crystal fusion, one required several familiars to be on this level.

However, Nathan’s familiars were divine beasts. Even if they didn’t have 10 million ena, their fighting power would be close to a normal familiar with 10 million ena thanks to their divinity.

So, just by having him reach this threshold, he could be counted as a world class summoner on Gratzel, unofficially, of course.

Nevertheless, it was time for him to take one step further and start absorbing the elite class cores.

This was the time he found an unexpected surprise.

Originally, he believed that he would need 25 million ena to further upgrade his quality, but it turned out he only needed 15 million.

That was right. The moment it reached 15 million ena, Nathan finally reached the Perfect Quality.

Name: Nathan Reckmoon

Level: 664/???

Race: H*u%m@*an

Quality: Perfect (Low)

Ena: 16,381,320/???

Absorption Rate: 72%

Skill Unlock: Error

His absorption rate jumped by 10% at once.

As he originally expected, both the level and the quality looked like an exponential curve. The higher they were, the steeper the curve would become. It might be possible for the next absorption rate to reach 85% the moment he got Perfect (Mid) quality, or so he hoped.

But from this advancement alone, he wondered if his absorption rate was as good as Selena’s. Originally, his body had much more ena. In the original Nathan’s memory, his talent was supposed to be unmatched. It might even surpass Elysion Aquamoon.

So, it was weird for his talent to suddenly disappear. But if this was the way to fully unlock his talent, he hoped it was indeed a perfect absorption rate.

Still, even if he didn’t have a perfect absorption rate, the manual would still make him reach that level.

With the increase in quality, he basically would receive 10% more ena for the remaining cores. And he still had 8 elite class cores left.

With that excitement in his heart, he proceeded with the remaining cores.

Name: Nathan Reckmoon

Level: 783/???

Ena: 30,128,971/???

By the time he absorbed all the cores, he was quite surprised by the amount of ena he ultimately got.

“Wow…” Nathan dropped his jaw in excitement.

He never thought he would get this much ena. Unfortunately, the soul contract didn’t get upgraded even after so much ena. The average amount of ena he got from the last 8 cores exceeded his original expectation.

“This is weird…” Nathan rubbed his chin.

“What? You don’t like it? It’s 30 million ena, you know? You might be able to make two or three familiars to have the same amount of ena as you.” Fenrir squinted his eyes. “Or what? Are you going to summon another familiar?”

“I don’t have any plans at the moment. Besides, after knowing Xolotl, I can’t help but want my next familiar to be another divine beast at the true god level. Or even if he or she is not at this level, they should be able to bring this group to a new level.” Nathan shook his head.

“Then what is weird?”

“I’m thinking about my soul contract. All this time, the soul contract will be upgraded if I have enough energy. But it’s been a while since the soul contract has been upgraded.” Nathan sighed.

Fenrir squinted his eyes. “Are you saying that the soul contract is already at its ultimate form?”

“I’m not very sure.” Nathan shook his head.

“Master. There is one more thing you need to consider. The soul contract might have been following the amount of energy in your body, but as you grow stronger, especially at this level, ena is not the only deciding factor anymore.” Mae stopped him from thinking so negatively.

“Now that I think about it, what you said is true.” Anubis nodded in agreement. “We have been able to unlock our divinity at 300,000 ena. Once we pass that level, everything about our divinity is gradually unlocked.

“So, it might also be related to this. Your power might actually require divinity to be upgraded. According to you, you have seen the original Nathan being so strong, right? What if that Soul Contract has been influenced by time divinity? It might not be in his second life, but it could be in his later life.”

Nathan couldn’t deny this possibility. It might also be related to the original Nathan, which was a possibility he’d never considered before.

Still, he also had a space element, so he didn’t know whether the soul contract would become weird later.

But the divinity might indeed have something to do with his innate ability.

“Well, I can only try it myself, I guess.” Nathan sighed. “I need to set up the rules first. I guess that will be what I need to do after this. At least one rule.”

“So, it’s time to decide who will be the first one.” Fenrir grinned.

Nathan thought for a moment. Since he had 30 million ena, he could spend 20 million to upgrade his familiar.

Nidhogg and Fenrir, the two options, had 4 million ena. So, he only needed 6 million ena to upgrade one of them, leaving him with 14 million ena to use.

Nathan looked down, thinking, “Why don’t we gather everyone first?”

“We definitely need an emergency meeting.” Mae nodded. “Even if one agrees, the rest might not. After all, we have several power-hungry beasts around us.”

“Who are you talking about?” Fenrir glanced at her.

“Alright, alright.” Nathan waved his hand. He first used teleportation so that he could summon all his familiars.

With a serious face, Nathan introduced the meeting.

“Alright. Let’s begin our ‘Level Up Meeting.'”
