Capítulo 1376: Shocked
“Bang!”
Regina opened the door wide open, her solemn expression making people nervous.
Regina’s return to the capital was not an unknown matter. She definitely maintained contact with the emperor, but she never came to this place because she didn’t want to get involved in politics.
However, not long ago, they had received a letter from her, which disturbed the entire court. So, her arrival here would definitely mean something.
Even the emperor couldn’t help but stand up. “What are you doing here?”
Regina took a deep breath before saying, “Is there anyone among the top ten summoners in the capital? If there is one, can you call that person here? As for whether it is worth it to interrupt the court or not, I can only say that it might lead to the destruction of the empire.”
“!!!” The people widened their eyes in shock.
“Your Highness Regina. We know about your esteemed reputation, but the destruction of the empire? That is not something you can easily claim!” One minister tried to stop her.
“I don’t know who you are, but do you think I will joke around about this?” Regina glared at him.
“That’s enough.” The emperor sighed. He had dispatched the three strongest people to find the second prince, but to no avail.
So, there weren’t many people with that kind of strength here.
He thought for a moment before getting a name in his head. “How about that person? The one who is known as Iron Man. He might have retired and dropped off the top ten list, but he was once ranked 8th on that list. He is the most powerful summoner currently residing in the capital.”
“He’s good enough. His experience and insight will be good. It’s much better than letting me assess everything by myself.” Regina nodded. “No. Where is he? I will call him here so as not to waste more time than this.”
The emperor nodded. “Alright. If you head to the east balcony, you will find a mansion with a green roof in the center of red roof tiles. That is his place.”
“Give me a minute.” Regina exited the room. With her strength, reaching that house was easy.
Two minutes later, she brought an old man. He might have been strong in the past, but his power had regressed due to his age. However, his eyes were still as deep as ever.
“Your Imperial Majesty. May I know the reason you summoned this old man in this manner?” Count Green asked while stepping forward with his cane.
“He wasn’t the one. I was the one who requested your presence.” Regina corrected him.
“You?” Count Green raised his eyebrows.
“Take a look at this.” Regina suddenly took an alien corpse out of thin air.
“!!!” People were shocked by two different things: the ability to take something out of nowhere and the alien itself.
“Your Highness. What are you doing? Are you tainting this sacred hall with the blood of an alien?”
Before Regina could say anything, Count Green’s power burst from his body, silencing the people. “Enough.”
Everyone was dumbfounded after his outburst. The count’s attention was fixed on the corpse. “This alien… What kind of alien is this? This is the first time I’ve seen an alien with this kind of magical power. Even after death, it retains some power.”
“!!!” All of them fell silent when they heard the count’s assessment.
It was at this time that Regina dropped the bomb. “Alpha class.”
Once again, they were stunned. An alpha class alien?
One minister couldn’t contain his shock. “Isn’t an alpha class alien just a legend?”
Regina explained, “Not anymore. I fought this alien and felt powerless. If not for Luna Eleren, I couldn’t even injure it, let alone kill it.
“An alpha class alien…” The count gasped.
“Sister. Are you serious right now? You know how hard it is to believe this, right?” The emperor clenched his hands into fists.
“Do you think I would joke about something like this? Unfortunately, this was the only thing I could secure. The other half as well as the core was with her.”
“This… We have to summon Luna Eleren immediately. We have to demand this corpse and the core from her. We have to study it right away.”
The ministers seemed to be in agreement, but Regina could only roll her eyes. If that were possible, she wouldn’t make this a big deal.
“Do you have anything else to say, Sister?” The emperor asked.
“Luna Eleren might not be in the empire anymore.” Regina shook her head helplessly. “You can only make do with this unless you are capable enough to get it from her. Of course, I’m going to add that if you want to make a move against her, I will be the first one to cut you down.”
Regina was known for being patriotic. So, it was weird for her to defend someone who moved to the dynasty. It looked as if something else was happening in the background.
“The only thing I can say right now is that this alien is much stronger. People always claim that the crystal armor stage summoners are equal to the elite class aliens, so the crystal fusion stage summoners must be equal to the alpha class aliens.
“However, I know how wrong it is after fighting this alien. In this empire, I don’t know how many people are capable of killing it. Maybe less than five? Most crystal fusion stage summoners can probably last for a while and get defeated after that. That’s my honest assessment.
“We have to study the power that this alien contains, and it might lead to an even stronger power that allows us to fight against the alpha class aliens.
“After the volcanic eruption, the number of aliens has increased drastically, so it won’t be weird for this kind of alien to appear. And it might not be just one. That’s why we have to hurry.”
After addressing the problem, Regina turned her head to the emperor. “I need to tell you something else.”
