Nathan covered his eyes while thinking about the pros and cons. However, this was just an act. He had already planned to agree and just wanted to show that this wasn’t an easy decision.

Xolotl nodded. “It shouldn’t be a problem. It’s not like it will become incomplete either. Both contain the power of rules. Just the amount is slightly less. So, it doesn’t really matter.”

“This…” She thought about the full corpse, but it looked like Nathan didn’t plan to sell everything.

“Of course, I’m not demanding much.” Nathan raised two fingers. “My favor is pretty simple. How about joining my fight against the Death Society?”

“Hmm?” Regina didn’t look surprised. After Frequency’s attack, she had expected Nathan to hold a grudge against the Death Society.

So, she had expected this request when Nathan gave her the Space Bracelet.

Besides, the Death Society was a thorn in everyone’s side. The fact that Frequency also had the power of rule meant defeating them might allow them to learn about this power as well.

And this was the only way to appease Nathan’s grudge with the second prince, who sent the Death Society to him.

But this was only one favor. It looked like Nathan wanted a second favor.

Regina thought for a moment before raising three of her fingers. “How about this? First, I will agree to attacking the Death Society. I personally will join the fight. However, my power is limited, so I don’t know if I alone will be enough or not.

Regina skillfully added the third condition, which was advantageous for both of them. Nathan came to her often, which allowed her to improve their relationship.

And if things went awry, she would just tell them that the people she brought were doing it for their own revenge.

So, it could become a justification that the empire had nothing to do with it. If they succeeded, it would be great.

It was a clever plan for the empire, and Nathan was also tempted by this deal. After all, they really needed a few more people.

Nathan then turned to Luna. “We have to go down again and search for more cores below.”

“You don’t have to do that. I have cleared up the entire place. It was a bit hard for the ones on the deepest level, but it was done in a few hours.” Luna reassured him. “We’ve got 4 elite class alien cores, 21 warrior class cores, 120 mature class cores, 500 juvenile class cores, and 1286 proto-class cores from this prison.

“As for the entire trip itself… Well, there is one elite class alien among them, so we get an additional income. I haven’t counted the rest.”

“Oh!” Nathan’s eyes brightened. The trip was indeed worth it. “Now that I think about it, how long did I pass out earlier?”

Luna tilted her head in confusion. Evelyn sighed and answered it for her. “15 hours.”

“Ah!” Nathan apologized immediately. “Sorry for making you wait so long.”

“It doesn’t matter.” Evelyn let out a long sigh. “In any case, do you have any other plans? If not, I’m going to take everyone back home.”

“I don’t really have any plans. Even if we go back the normal way, we won’t get a lot of cores since we practically hunted down all the aliens in sight. So, it’s best to teleport back to the empire.”

“That’s good then.” Evelyn raised his head, looking at Regina and Luna.

Luna simply shook her head, while Regina was trying to find a problem that could prolong her stay here, but there was no concrete reason for her to stop them. She could only ask, “No. If possible, you can drop me off as close to the capital as possible.”
