Chapter 1367: Alpha Class Alien

“An alpha class alien.” All of them were stunned, not expecting the danger to be much more terrifying than they originally thought.

They all had heard about the class above the elite class. Most people thought it was a rumor because they couldn’t find them, but they definitely found an alien stronger than the elite class alien.

One punch alone could break Luna’s defensive magic circle as well as her golems’ protection.

It was clear that this alien was much stronger than anything they had faced so far.

The size of the alien itself was small, but they didn’t know what kind of unique ability it possessed.

Luna’s energy began to leak out of her body. Regina had also drawn her sword.

Noticing their movement, Nidhogg gathered his energy and released his breath first.

The alien punched forward as an invisible force continued onward, overwhelming Nidhogg’s power.

“!!!” Nidhogg widened his eyes as the invisible power hit his face, knocking him up.

“Gah!” Nidhogg gritted his teeth. He finally realized the power that the alien possessed.

Seeing Nidhogg getting hurt, Luna waved both hands up.

Multiple magic circles appeared next to the alien. When the magic circles erupted, the alien spread its arms, dispersing the power away.

“!!!” Regina was astonished by its power, but she’d planned an attack. Once the power was gone, Regina appeared next to the alien and swung her blade. Other familiars were also conjuring their power to assist her, but the invisible force appeared again, stopping all their attacks at once.

“What?” Regina widened her eyes. The alien looked like it was about to attack her, but fortunately, a magic circle appeared between them. It stopped the punch for a split second, allowing Regina to retreat.

The alien broke apart the magic circle as the invisible force continued to the side of the prison, creating a massive hole.

The prison was constructed of a special material. It could withstand time as well as massive impact since it was designed to contain even elite class aliens. Yet, they never expected that the alien could destroy it with just a casual punch.

Surprisingly, Xolotl said through telepathy, “I think I finally understand the power scale of the aliens based on what we currently know. The elite class alien might be good with one unique ability, but the alpha class alien is an alien whose unique ability has been strengthened by the rules.

“Those who have strengthened themselves even further and created their godhood are probably what you call the Ancient Ones. Only those who have fully transformed into true gods will be known as the outer gods.”

“Does that mean we still have a chance?” Nathan asked.

“A chance? Yes. The chances of beating this alien are actually high. The alien only seems to have one rule. The same as Luna Eleren. However, his power will be quite lethal for you and the other woman.”

“But our chance is still high, right?”

“Of course. Do you know the difference between us and these aliens? One of us might not be able to defeat one of them at the same level.

“That is because the way we exert our power is different. If we want to use our power, we will use this energy you call ‘Ena.’

“However, the aliens use the energy to supply their life force before using it to enhance their power.”

Nathan listened carefully. Although he wanted to join the battle right away, he thought it wouldn’t be appropriate. It was better to get more information to see what he could do.

After hearing Xolotl’s explanation, Nathan understood why the aliens were strong. If the humans used their power and broke the rules, they would lose their power. However, if the aliens broke the rules, they would lose their lives directly.

Tying their power to their lives was what made them more powerful, but this might be what made the alien unique.

“So, what are we going to do?” Nathan asked. “If we fight here, the entire place will collapse. Luna can’t utilize her full power here as well.”

“Obviously, we have to fight outside. But it also means we might end up encountering the aliens in this area.”

Nathan didn’t like the idea, but it didn’t seem he had other options. The alien had become even stronger after its power was boosted by the black cell. It could be said that the black cell actually boosted their life force.

Xolotl’s explanation could also explain the alien’s regenerative ability.

“How are we going to bring this alien out? Should we just let Luna use her power to make the entire mountain collapse?” Nathan asked.

Fenrir was actually the one responding to his question. “If we let it collapse, we can’t excavate this thing inside. We can’t waste all the free cores. We should use the teleportation array instead.”

“Hmm?” Nathan frowned. “How?”

“Use your power to expand the influence of the teleportation array. If needed, you can actually call Evelyn outside to get her help as well.”

Nathan raised his eyebrows. That was actually a good idea. The only person who could reach this place quickly was Evelyn. She was also a very strong fighter.

Although there were a lot of things to explain to Evelyn if she met Luna and Regina, it was probably the best way to proceed.

Besides, this was the first time they had encountered an alpha class alien. No matter how high their chances of killing it, they should be extra careful.

“To think you can think of a good idea, little wolf.” Xolotl smirked. It looked like Xolotl agreed with Fenrir’s plan.

Nathan activated his communication ring right away. If Evelyn didn’t pick up right away, he would just proceed with the original plan.

Fortunately, it looked like she was rather free.

“What’s up?”

“Come to my location right now. I’m in the Larahan Forest. How fast can you get here?”

“Once I know the direction, it shouldn’t take more than a few minutes. Expand your spatial distortion as far as possible. Even if the signal is weak, I can pick it up. I’ll use that signal to find your exact location.”

Nathan’s expression turned solemn before shouting, “Luna. Buy me several minutes. Don’t go all out yet.”

“Sure.” Luna nodded as she sensed Nathan’s presence teleporting to the top floor.
