The people were rushing outside, while Nathan was simply looking around, as if it were not his business.

The middle-aged man also got down from his floor while summoning his own crystal weapon.

The receptionist didn’t know what to do with Nathan, who was standing still in front of her.

That action alerted the overseer.

“You… What the hell are you doing here? Why are you still here? You should go with the others now!” The overseer raised his voice, annoyed with Nathan.

Nathan, on the other hand, raised both hands, saying nonchalantly. “Not my problem. I’m not a mercenary.”

“Don’t you have an obligation as one of the summoners of the empire? You are a crystal armor stage summoner!”

The moment he mentioned Nathan’s strength, both Nathan and the receptionist were shocked. The receptionist didn’t simply think that the one she rejected was actually someone that powerful.

But after seeing so many strong summoners, she didn’t sense the same kind of threat or pressure from Nathan, which made her think Nathan was just a random person.

She never thought Nathan was actually this strong.

On the other hand, Nathan didn’t expect that this person could see through his illusion. Nathan instantly understood what kind of person was in front of him the moment he said the next words.

“There are five elite class aliens approaching this base. This is simply unprecedented. And you, a crystal stage summoner… You should be able to get one of them or at least stop one alien.”

“I’m not from the empire. Besides, I came here for the map, but I simply can’t get one because I’m not a mercenary. So…” Nathan obviously didn’t mind helping. In the end, this was a common enemy.

The middle-aged man squinted his eyes. “Don’t push your luck when you are only a crystal armor stage summoner.”

“I certainly don’t push my luck.” Nathan’s expression turned solemn.

How could someone believe that a crystal armor stage summoner could take down an elite class alien in just a minute? Even a crystal fusion summoner, who was known to be stronger than an elite class alien, couldn’t do such a thing.

Besides, there were other warrior class aliens that would gladly sacrifice their lives for the elite class aliens.

So, it was impossible.

However, Nathan’s expression felt like he meant his words.

The middle-aged man nodded his head a few times with a judging expression. “I will remember your face, kid. If you can’t do it in one minute, I will do everything in my power to make you pay for messing with me.”

“I will make sure that one elite class alien won’t bother you anymore, and its underlings will be without their head.”

The middle-aged man glared at him for another few seconds before turning his head to the receptionist. “Grab the map on my table.”

“Y-Yes.” The receptionist rushed to the overseer’s room and returned with a map.

“This is your map. However, you remember our deal because I’m not playing around.”

“Of course.” Nathan examined the map first. It was indeed what he wanted, after seeing all the details on the map. It was a map of the front line, so with this map, he should be able to reach his destination without any problems.

“Now, follow me.” The overseer glared at him before walking to the exit.

While following him, Mae couldn’t help but say, ‘Master. I have been stopping myself from asking, but this person…’

‘Yes. If he were able to sense your illusion…’ Nathan understood what kind of summoner this person was. Even the left and right guardians of the dynasty would be fooled, but there was one type of summoner who could do it.

It was a sensory-type summoner. They were like Fenrir, but their senses were multiple times stronger.

This was the reason the overseer could even figure out how many aliens were coming. He could sense them even from far away.

‘Even though you are now an arcane level summoner, you probably can defeat the elite class alien when working together with your familiars, not to mention that we have to handle the underlings while we’re at it.’

‘Well…’ Nathan smiled inwardly. ‘…I never said anything about defeating an elite class alien in one minute. I said I’m going to take that alien off the equation in one minute.’
