“By sent out of this place, do you mean that we’ll be lost in time and space because of this?”

The old man shook his head before saying, “They’ve discussed it before since it was a worst case scenario. If things really reached a point where they couldn’t recover any more, they were supposed to destroy this black ball and destroy this space to escape. What will happen is that the space will collapse and it’ll return the space to normal. It’ll fold back onto regular space and bring us all back into the regular world.”

“So it would be like the world putting itself back into order after the corruption energy was cut off?” I summarized it for him.

The old man looked a bit awkward since it didn’t seem like he exactly understood what I meant by this, but eventually he gave a nod.

It seemed like he gave up on thinking and just agreed with what I said.

It didn’t take long for a group to come flying over on wyverns.

This was the group that we had left behind when we took the portal array.

When they came over, they were shocked to find these buildings and it looked like they were about to attack, but that didn’t happen in the end as I came forward to wave them down.
