Chapter 1725: Explaining the situation

After the commotion that the golden dragon caused, it was impossible for us to hide what had happened.

Especially since the different countries of the racial alliance sent their people to find out what it was.

The ones that came at first were just simple representatives that brought gifts after hearing that my son had been born. But at the same time, the ones that had been sent also came with the mission of finding out what the golden glow in the sky was.

However, those people had only been simple representatives and never actually had any pressure that they could put on the Kite Kingdom.

The second group of representatives that came from the different countries was different.

This second group of representatives were people that held actual positions of power in their respective countries. So once they were here, it wasn’t as if we could actually keep them in the dark about what happened.

The one that was the most eye catching was actually the representative from the Sorcery Empire.

At this point, it was normal for the Holy Empire to send a pope regardless of what happened.

But for the Sorcery Empire, they actually sent one of their sages to see what this phenomenon was.

The representative from the Sorcery Empire that came previously was able to feel the mana that came from the golden glow, as well as the golden dragon that had been formed from that golden glow.

That was why when they reported this back to the Sorcery Empire, even a sage had become curious about this phenomenon.

So I decided to gather everyone in a single room and introduce them to my newly born son, Arthur

“This still doesn’t explain what that phenomenon was. Is the Kite Kingdom trying to hide the truth behind this matter?”

This was the representative from the Democratic Union that asked this.

Even though the Democratic Union had suffered because of the different embargos on them, that didn’t mean that they had lost all power. They could still send a representative to this kind of meeting.

Though the way that he acted made it clear that they were targeting us.

It seemed that the Democratic Union didn’t forget the grudge from before, so they were trying to make things hard for the Kite Kingdom. After all, if they made things worse for us, then it might be likely that the other countries would relax a bit.

I was the one that had helped aim the attack at the Democratic Union after all.

But I just calmly said, “This is related, is there a reason that you’re interrupting me?”

I wasn’t pressured at all by the representative from the Democratic Union.

At this point, since they had already decided to go against us…

Well, there was no reason for us to be polite anymore.

Though he was less than a month old, Arthur actually understood what I said and summoned out the golden dragon.

This golden dragon was completely different from the golden dragon that had appeared before.

Currently, the golden dragon was in a shrunken form that made it look like some kind of cartoon character instead of a mighty golden dragon.

It was all because Arthur didn’t have enough mana to maintain a larger form for the golden dragon.

But it seemed that the golden dragon was more than happy to remain in this form.

Once the golden dragon had been summoned, I looked at everyone and said, “As you can see, this is a spirit that was summoned with the birth of my son. It has formed a contract with my son and is now under his control.”

The representative from the Democratic Union pointed at me and said, “How can you expect us to believe something like this? Our people all saw the phenomenon and that large golden dragon, are you expecting us to believe that it became something as small as this?”

I didn’t even need to answer this question as the Azure Sage was the one that answered for me.

“Ha, ha, ha, your majesty, as expected that an apple wouldn’t fall far from the tree. A lion would certainly give birth to a lion’s son.”

Then after praising me, he turned to the Democratic Union representative before saying, “I can guarantee that this golden dragon is the same spirit as before. Do you think that you know more about magic than me?”

The representative from the Democratic Union had an ugly look on his face when he heard this.

He was just a politician, he naturally wouldn’t be able to say something like this.

But it didn’t seem like he was willing to back down either…

The Azure Sage could see this as well, so he added, “This golden dragon is a special kind of spirit that even I haven’t seen before, but I can easily sense the spirit’s natural energy coming from it that shows that it’s a spirit. If you still want to question it, there are plenty of ways to prove this is the same golden dragon as before.”

The representative from the Democratic Union didn’t say anything in the end.

He knew that even if he were to say something, it wasn’t as if he would have a foot to stand on.

As such, the only thing that he could say is, “Then what is the Kite Kingdom doing with all of these spirits? I’m sure that you’ve seen the different spirits wandering around in this Kite Kingdom, so there’s no doubt that there’s something wrong with this place. It wouldn’t be strange if they were preparing for war.”

At this, everyone looked at me once more.

It wasn’t that they didn’t trust me, it was just that they acknowledged what the representative from the Democratic Union said and was curious about this.
