Capítulo 919: Why do you bring me back here?

Everything was filled with calculation and others.

For Dina, those things had long been engraved deep into her bones and even if she wanted to, she could never remove it.

Her family members were the one who had taught her.

In this world…

There were indeed calculation and conspiracy. After all, a demonic magicians were people who basically increased their strength through absorbing the mana of other creatures, including other humans.

If they wanted to, they could even use their own family member’s mana.

But surprisingly… the demonic magicians will not do that and instead try to nurture the younger generations very well.

At least, this was the feeling that Dina experienced when she was in this world.

She saw their dedication to let the younger generation surpassed them… because they could no longer see the way forward.

Perhaps, death was no longer so terrifying for them after such a long period of time.

They had long accepted their own death and felt that it was actually good enough.

And it was precisely because of this that Dina felt rather uncomfortable for a period of time when she first came to this world. Because her status was high and this meant everyone had to respect her.

Her own father was also the one who passed the family’s secret practice to her, allowing her to become stronger.

Even though she later learned about the demonic magician’s special status…

Dina once felt somewhat resentful.

But in time, she accepted it very well.

Talent might be innate, but what she could achieve in her life depended on her own hard work!

She didn’t give up so easily and continued to walk forward.

“Let’s go in.”

Dina only hesitated for a moment before she finally walked forward. The day of her death, she had actually accepted everything. Even if there were some unwillingness in her heart and also the strong desire for power, she still knew that she was not strong enough.

It was her weakness that eventually caused her to die.

If she had been stronger, perhaps she could have done something to survive and live longer.

But there was nothing else that she could do now.

She had to accept that everyone she used to know has become nothing more than a person in the long passage of history. They have long been forgotten in time and no one would bother remembering them.

Perhaps, some iconic people would still be recorded.

But the rest?

They were easily wiped up by the passage of time, leaving nothing behind.

And no one would remember them.

‘Is there even any survivor?’

Dina didn’t know.

The grand magic beasts’ tide had wiped up everything. The demonic magician’s tribe that was built slowly over the years were erased in a matter of a moments, destroying them from the passage of history.

Dina felt uncomfortable when she thought about this.

In the face of the trend of the world, human is extremely small.

Only someone who had reached the peak might be able to do something…

‘That’s wrong, hasn’t my father reached rank 10?’

Even someone as strong as her father could not stop these magic beasts from destroying the entire world.

Tep.

Walking forward, Dina saw that half of the broken palace has long been turned into ruins. Those were the rooms that belonged to the servants and even the branch family members who were staying in this palace.

She looked around for a moment before slowly walking towards the direction where she used to stay.

Her room.

It was intact.

Seeing the room was still intact, Dina’s eyes flashed with strange emotions as she raised her hand and pressed it on the door.

It was heavy.

But with her current strength, it was actually very light and Dina quickly opened up the door.

What greeted her was an intact room.

Intact, but dust had accumulated in this room, making it extremely dirty.

But the familiarity this room brought to Dina almost made her cry.

“I never thought that I’ll see it again.” Dina almost cried out as the strong familiarity with the room invoked countless memorable memories deep in her mind.

Everything that happened in the past flashed by her eyes as if a movie was being played by her.

Dina felt sad.

She really didn’t want this to happen, but her emotions were out of control for a moment.

The next moment, she forcefully suppressed it.

As a demonic magician who followed the path of extreme emotions, Dina knew very well that she should not allow herself to fall into the state of strong emotions. Because this will make her hard work over the years go to waste.

No matter what happened around her, she was not allowed to react strongly nor allow her to be so attached.

This is her path.

And this is the path that she had chosen for herself.

A lonely path that she had vowed to follow until the very end.

“I took this path because I thought that I’ll have to walk alone for the rest of my life… so why do you have to bring me back here?” Dina asked, her voice was trembling slightly.

Her conviction and willpower almost shattered at the memories this place bring to her.

When she had everything in this world, Dina never actually cared too much about it. Because as the princess of the Demonic Magician’s clan, she had everything and she could do anything she wanted to.

All she needed was to give the order and these people will follow it without hesitation.

This kind of backing was enviable, but Dina took it all for granted.

Only when she returned and had to face those scheming relatives again did Dina realize how much she actually missed this world and everything that she could obtain through her identity.

It was really saddening.

When she had everything, she didn’t think too much of it.

But when she lost it, she missed it.

She was really…
