Capítulo 906: Desperate Battle (2)

*roar!*

The battle on the back made Murin’s expression grim. These magic beasts were surrounding him and he didn’t dare to turn around and entered the rank 8 magic beast’s attack range again.

Even if the other returnees were already having difficulties facing it.

He had seen that none of their attack was effective.

If he went back… given by the fact that he had abandoned them before, the other returnees will definitely let him take the attack from the rank 8 magic beast if it was possible.

Murin is really good at attracting hatred.

At least, almost no returnee would feel good about him and probably wanted to kill him when they had the chance. The only reason they didn’t was probably because he had some live saving methods and killing him would also hurt them.

Every single one of them were selfish.

At the very least, none of them were willing to take action for things that might cost them their own lives.

Because they all knew that they have methods that could definitely safe their lives in danger.

And who would want to fight to death?

They could finally go back to the Green Planet and have the life that they thought they had lost before.

No one wanted to lose it inexplicably.

So while they disliked Murin, no one actually hated him to death.

The battle in that world was mostly caused because of the difference in their views and also because of Murin’s action of wanting to fulfill his teacher’s wishes. The others decided to take action when their own interest was threatened, but none of them were truly willing to fight until their death.

It was also because of this that Murin survived for a long time in that world.

He went from one place to another, avoiding the pursuit while trying to fulfill his dream of creating a world where humans and magic beasts could coexist with each other.

Unfortunately, it didn’t seem like his actions could do much.

The magic beasts were too unruly and many of them were not willing to coexist with humans. They just wanted to kill the humans, especially those that had been persecuted before.

Murin was confused.

What he wanted seemed to be impossible to achieve.

With more and more people chasing after him, including those annoying people who also joined as the geniuses of the era, they killed his magic beasts one after another, making his fighting strength depleted.

That’s how Murin died.

At least, the short version of how he died.

Each of the battle was extremely brutal and when Murin found out that they were all from the Green Planet… he really disliked them.

Asking him to cooperate with these people were definitely impossible and Murin didn’t want to be used by the government instead.

He had already failed to fulfill his dream once.

Perhaps he could do it on the Green Planet?

So he started to try it out and the other returnees also ignored him. Their main reason was simply because of the various methods they have learned in their lives that could possibly save their lives in desperate situation.

Later on…

It was because they all came from the Green Planet and had been ‘selected specifically’ by whoever it is.

They were sent to a completely different world and were trained there for the sake of the Green Planet.

So the other returnees were not willing to attack each other.

Because this would weaken the Green Planet’s overall power and they might not be able to survive when the real magic beasts’ invasion came.

But Murin felt that it was nothing more than hypocrisy.

Would those people really care about the Green Planet so much?

For Murin, it would not be a problem at all even if the entire Green Planet were to be destroyed in the hands of the magic beasts.

There was nothing much he wanted to do on the Green Planet either.

Since he had no one he truly cared for nor did he care about other people since he was not so noble, Murin chose to live for himself and made a lot of trouble on his own whenever it was possible.

Of course, whether the others were sincere or not was not something Murin cared for.

Instead, he appreciated the returnee from Continent Y more.

They were definitely warriors for daring to go against their government openly and even making use of them. Murin was still maintaining the cooperative relationship in the beginning because he was too weak and needed more of their support and resources.

Only when he managed to grow up did he start to take action on his own.

Bang!

Explosion sounded once again and Murin had to gather his thoughts.

He knew that he didn’t have much time to waste, so he could only focus his attention and started playing the flute of beast. This was the second time he used the flute of beast in a large scale battle after coming back to this life.

After all, the previous usage of the flute of beast had already told Murin that it was not very useful.

The magic beasts that were attracted by the flute of beasts were not very strong.

His goal of surrounding people were extremely useless.

On the Green Planet, the number of powerful magic beasts was not large and even the rank 7 magic beasts were restricted in their growth. Since Murin had faced with the real rank 7 magic beasts, he could sense it very clearly.

These rank 7 magic beasts were weak.

So Murin also refrained from using them too much.

Other returnees would be able to deal with these rank 7 magic beasts quickly and only some of them were relatively useful.

But the rank 7 magic beasts that were more powerful couldn’t be controlled by the flute of beasts easily.

He would have to focus on them.

In this way, Murin understood that his own base rank was too weak to use the flute of beasts to control a large number of rank 7 magic beasts at the same time. If he had been more powerful, it might succeed.
