It was such a close attack that Emma struggled to react in time. She had been careless, and they had gotten too close to her.
Although her power and attack were already in motion, theirs would arrive first. This was a truly dangerous attack. She had to prioritize one side first; she would be injured from the other side, but at least she could get out of this onslaught alive, and with her troops advancing toward them, they could annihilate these guys.
Even so, she suddenly saw that those guys’ speed increased when the blood beneath their feet rose up to them.
‘Shit.’ Emma couldn’t react.
But Isla could.
She raised both hands to both sides, putting tremendous force into both arms. But an arm with a sword wasn’t something that was very effective if you weren’t a martial artist.
Isla witnessed her two hands and arms breaking into pieces from her fingertips to her shoulders.
She gritted her teeth in pain, but once she managed to stop her attacks, leaving her rivals stunned, she quickly moved toward one of them and delivered a powerful kick to his chest.
“Buagh.” A large gush of blood emerged from his guts as he felt an oppressive force sending him flying.
‘That hard?’ He held back the urge to continue vomiting so he could attack that woman again.
No matter what, he had lost his arms! They had the advantage!
But then he noticed that his arms…
They were intact.
‘What the hell?’
Not only that, she was attacking the man on the other side with her sword.
She had even stunned Emma.
That kind of resilience was not something just any vampire could have.
She had heard a lot about Isla and her immortality, but this was the first time she had seen it in such an amazing way and up close. So even though she was surprised, she still managed to attack her rivals.
“Watch out, brother, that woman is immortal!” a man suddenly shouted from the other side of the battle.
Isla frowned as she recognized the voice and turned to look at him. “The man who protected that altar?” she thought.
He was attacking her from behind, but Isla had grown stronger since the last time.
Her body was gradually regaining its lost strength, so seeing her a month ago was not the same as seeing her now.
Isla was much faster than him and managed to dodge him, but suddenly she was attacked from another side at the same time as Emma, and both were pushed back hard.
“Six?” She looked up at the sky and noticed there were at least six more on the other side. “We can’t afford to be so divided.”
“Emma, go help the sisters,” she said suddenly, stepping forward.
“You expect me to leave you alone?”
“Yes.”
“I won’t do that, Isla!” Emma shouted, but Isla shrugged.
“There’s no point in you staying here. You’re not like me. These guys have pretty powerful recoveries, but none of them can match me. Even so, without Alice on the other side, even if Sophia and Ava work together, it will be difficult for them to win. The elders are powerful, but they’re not immortal either. So losing some of our strength in a battle against these idiots makes no sense. I’ll take care of them,” she replied with determination.
Although Emma tried to say something, Isla looked at her again.
“Just do as I say. I won’t die so easily.”
Or should I say that it was impossible for him to die in his current state.
Emma frowned, but quickly made the decision to go and help elsewhere.
“Heh, don’t think you’ll get away.” A man appeared behind her and attacked her directly in the neck.
Even so, his body suddenly suffered a major setback when Isla’s fist sank into his teeth. “You’d better consider your movements in my presence.”
He rolled on the ground countless times, completely dizzy.
Emma was then able to leave, leaving Isla alone.
She sighed and looked around at those who had surrounded her.
“You guys are unlucky,” she said suddenly, though she quickly corrected herself. “No, it’s not bad luck. I think it’s more that you have atrophied brains,” she scoffed.
“Really?” The one who had fought her before sneered and pointed his sword firmly at her neck. “You recovered very well before, to the point that I couldn’t do anything against you. But this time our leaders have given me a way to kill you, dear immortal vampire. I don’t know where you got your immortality, but I can assure you that you will soon fall,” he said.
“Because of that sword?” Isla asked.
“Yes. This sword will be your downfall,” he declared.
“Heh. Well, if you believe that, then I hope it doesn’t disappoint me.”
Finally, one of them got tired of listening, so he simply attacked her at full speed.
They were all Pillars. Numerically, the power of more than 150,000 was astonishing, and they all had it, but that strength…
It wasn’t too much for the current Isla.
She drew her sword as well and struck it against the incoming blade, pushing it back, but it wasn’t the one she was fighting. The rest had attacked her too, so she had to move between their bodies and strike when she was in a good position to hit them.
Even so, fighting like that was not sustainable; there were too many of them and she was alone. Every move she made to dodge couldn’t be replicated because her enemies were also quite powerful.
So she ended up being hit by one of the swords. The force broke her shoulder, but she managed to turn around to strike her attacker and stabbed him with her sword very close to his heart.
“You were lucky,” she sneered as her shoulder recovered.
Although they didn’t let her recover before another attack struck her in the same place. It was a series of attacks that impaled her, but she still smiled.
“Big mistake, little vampires.” It was difficult to move with so many swords stuck in her body, but she still managed to raise her sword to the height of everyone’s heads.
Her sword was so fast that in an instant it struck the head of one of them and it flew upward, throwing them all off balance. This allowed her to launch three more attacks, which were not as effective, and she escaped their control before falling behind one of them.
“You’re next,” she taunted as the other body fell to the ground, lifeless.
