Chapter 650: Alice, the Master of the Spiritual Abyss (3)
Unedited chapter. It will be edited soon.

On the battlefield, an ominous presence suddenly spread. It was strange, painting the atmosphere a green color, almost imperceptible.
“What is this?” Even the leaders wondered what the hell was going on.
Even so, at that moment, they realized something.
“They’re spirits, like the ones from Lady Mia Holmer’s Spiritual Academy,” said one of them, realizing what was happening.
“How could that be? Those spirits don’t look like that…” One wanted to refute.
“Wait…” Another spoke up. “I remember that time. Matthew Dietrich and Alice Allen tricked the locals in the frozen mountains and pretended to be humans. They studied at that academy. There’s no mistake. They must have learned how to summon them at that time!” He was alarmed.
But these spirits were not like the ones they had been told about.
They belonged to the empire’s elite and knew perfectly well that, among the forces of the Empire, although the Spiritual Academy was booming and seeking a place among the major ones, it had not yet succeeded.
That’s because, although there were powerful spirits, there weren’t too many of them. Most were not that powerful, so that group still needed time to mature.
Under no circumstances could they associate these terribly powerful things with those little spirits.
Where did the concept go?
Were these spirits of war and the others of gardening?
There was a clear difference between those and these terrifying things!
But it was true. This woman in front of them had studied at that academy when they were infiltrating the empire, so it would make sense.
While they were in shock and lost in thoughts that terrified them, Alice’s call was answered.
That green thing spreading across the battlefield quickly formed into a thick mass, penetrating every corner and pouring down on the crowd of people running in terror and attacking.
That included those who were receiving all the attention from the dark sun still floating above Alice’s head: the leaders and pillars of this great army.
No one understood what was happening until a terrifying pain began to grip them.
Some felt no pain, they just felt great and thought about fighting.
Others rolled their eyes for no apparent reason.
The leaders and ringleaders of all this belonged to the group that had to scream in agony.
But then…
A great poisonous death began to spread from all sides and in all directions.
The bodies began to explode for no reason. Others began to disintegrate. Some simply turned into a pool of blood and rotting flesh.
Those who were able to resist had to suffer the agony of the pain they were feeling, as something inside them tried to eat them, but they did not survive long, as the wind from the abyss continued to blow.
In less than 30 minutes, more than 80% of the army had fallen.
For Alice… this had only just begun.
And for the leaders, this was hell.
The one who had been talking to Alice earlier soon felt blood pouring from his mouth as a cold sword pierced his heart without restraint.
“You insulted Matt earlier, didn’t you? You called him an idiot? For your blasphemy, you will now have a poisonous heart for your last minutes of life. Please, feel free to speak your mind.” She smiled maliciously.
And as she commanded, so it happened. The poison in the body transformed into a strange heart, and arteries, veins, and other parts were created to connect with those that had lost their connection a moment before.
“AGHHHHHHHH!” One of the most terrifying screams Alice had ever heard in her life came at that moment, when that guy began to fall to the ground in terrible agony.
Every second seemed like he was in the most terrifying place of torment she had ever been in her life. Or perhaps, the most terrifying that existed.
He began to feel that his heart was no longer pumping blood: it was pumping poison.
A poison that was slowly eating him from the inside.
“Even I find that terrifying,” she suddenly thought. How fortunate that she was the master of that thing and not its rival.
It would be terrifying to face herself, to be honest.
When she looked at the others screaming in agony, she smiled. “Before a true supreme spirit, you are nothing but small fry.” She sneered.
In fact, this was only possible because when she went to conquer that poisonous spirit, she realized that she was very compatible with it, which led to them making a deal, and that is why she can now use it better.
It was also because she had grown much stronger since the last time she used the spirits, so the power she could summon from them was increasing.
The rounds of attacks from below had ceased after a fifth wave of explosive magic attacks from her girls, and they stood watching from the mountain, shocked by everything that was happening.
“She… wiped out an entire army and powerful leaders as if she were killing ants,” said one of the girls from atop the mountains.
One of them swallowed hard. “She’s terrifying.”
“We didn’t even use our entire arsenal… we weren’t even allowed to go down and fight those guys head-on.”
“She’s really terrifying.”
On the battlefield, Alice took a deep breath and put her powers away.
“It’s a shame that the little ones no longer give me power,” she complained, although she was actually happy.
This slaughter would be history from today on.
The day Alice Allen stood in front of an army and annihilated it entirely.
This was her new power, one she could be proud of.
“I wonder how Matthew is doing. I haven’t seen him in a while.” She looked up at the distant moons and stars that illuminated the world.
Shortly after, the girls who supported her arrived behind her.
“Ms. Alice… congratulations.”
“Don’t pay attention to him. This is all I can do. You go, run and help the army on the other side.”
“What about you, ma’am? Are you still planning to keep fighting? It looks like… you’ve opened a giant hole in the human barrier.”
Alice laughed.
“I’ll just go rest. Launching an attack of this magnitude takes too much out of me. I can’t fight anymore, so go in my place.” She said and patted the leader of them all on the back.
“Hold high the name of Dietrich.” She finished and left.
