Chapter 646: The war begins again

“Why the drama?” Alice asked, puzzled.

“Maybe because of what Matthew did in the Kingdom of Zimmermann? Did he hit them that hard?” Isla asked. That would be strange. Matthew’s missions in these cases are usually brief, seeking a quick and effective conclusion within a few weeks.

It would be too difficult, even for him, to destroy the entire kingdom without taking troops with him and in such a short time.

That was something Isla understood very well, so after asking the question, she mentally dismissed it.

“I don’t know the reasons; my information networks don’t reach that far. But what I am sure of is that if we hold back the onslaught with all our strength, when the Pillars have to leave for that massive emergency call, the rest of their men will be left alone,” Ava replied.

Sophia nodded. “Since they don’t know we have that information, they’re unlikely to take precautions against it, so it will be easier to wipe them out and take all their lands.”

“Indeed.” Ava nodded. “But the key is for us to withstand that brutal onslaught.”

Sophia nodded and gripped her sword at her waist, as well as the various saint weapons she still carried on her body. Since this war had begun, it had not left her body, except to bathe.

She had become more familiar with it, so she was more than confident in her own abilities. So she smiled.

“I’ve grown so strong that they’re afraid of me now, and my brother, even though he’s injured, continues to cause them problems, and his strength has grown a lot, so I hope they’ll let me take center stage this time,” she said, smiling at the remarkable girls beside her.

“Leave the humans to me,” Alice said suddenly.

They all turned to look at her. “You intend to fight alone?”

“Yes. Humans tend to play with numbers, right? They rely on their numbers to lead us into a dead end, because they are so numerous and use the weakest as cannon fodder. There’s no one better than me at avoiding that kind of foolish crowding,” she said with complete confidence.

“Are you sure?” Isla stared at her. “There are two Pillars, and humans use many tricks.”

“Haha, it’ll be easier than you think,” she replied and looked at Ava. “Who’s trying to hold back the humans? Just your forces?”

“Miss Karla and several members of the Schwarz and Scháfer Clans are also there.”

“Good. Tell Miss Karla and the clan members to withdraw and come support the main force.”

“You want to fight alongside my girls?”

“They’re explosive, right?”

“Very explosive and specialized in mountain battles, just like the ones those guys are proposing.”

“Haha, well then, I’ll play with them for a while. Don’t worry, it’s time for the Human Empire to start losing ground,” she said and began to walk, before flying off in the direction of the human troops.

“How impatient,” Ava said with a sigh. “I have to do the job. I’ll come with the other clans to hold out on this side. Do you have the total number of Pillars on the other side?”

“At least 10.”

“Quite a few, huh. Well, let’s be quick then.” Ava immediately left, leaving Isla, Sophia, and the few other girls sighing.

“Two more have arrived,” Isla said suddenly, looking into the far distance at two figures flying in from the kingdom’s lands.

“Haha, we just gave her the information, and it’s already wrong. Tsk, what a pain it is to deal with guys who seem inexhaustible.”

“And they’re moving. She won’t have time to get here.”

Sophia frowned and grabbed her binoculars to see what Isla was talking about. “They really are moving,” she said and threw the binoculars on the ground before running off.

“It’s time for a final mass mobilization! We have to hold out at all costs, if possible killing as many bastards as we can!” she roared.

Isla had to move. Luckily, Emma was leading the troops these days, and the battles and skirmishes, although frequent, were turning out positively thanks to her good command.

The problem was that there were too many of them, and the attacks in the other region bordering the Kingdom of Richter had supposedly intensified.

‘If the King’s men weren’t so useless, losing to skirmishes half-formed by the church, we could concentrate our forces better. But with that bunch of useless people talking about diplomacy and nonsense, we’ll hardly be able to do so,’ she thought.

It had been over a month since the King had issued an edict. In fact, when was the last time he had issued one?

‘Since before Matthew was Lord of the Kingdom, right? He has remained uselessly on the sidelines, which stresses me out,’ she thought.

Although she quickly sighed, knowing that this would not bring good results in the upcoming battle. They did not have a king to rule the nobility and therefore did not have a royal nobility to help them, but at least they had Emma, who was currently leading the troops of the Dark Kingdom and the Richter Kingdom.

Isla began to move the moment she realized they weren’t coming alone. Large, large-scale battle beasts were on the move.

“So that’s your answer to Emma, King Blacksmith.” She smiled. It was a good answer, but with the strength they had on their side, she didn’t know if it was a good option at this point.

After all, knocking them to the ground… wasn’t that difficult.

Soon, a massive mobilization of all Murphy troops and those available from both kingdoms began, forming three large blocks covering the east, west, and south at the front and on the flanks.

Facing them were seas of troops, along with giant battle beasts that shook the earth with every step.

They had some on this side too, but not too many, and they were strategically positioned at the far right and left.

The wealth of the Kingdom of the Blacksmith was, once again, the object of admiration.

But the Dark Kingdom and the allied troops of the Murphy Clan were not intimidated.

Once again, a large-scale war broke out, staining the earth with blood, death, and frenzied madness.
