Chapter 432: “SEEMS LIKE WE HAVE”
“Bro hurry up!! Or we will miss the entrance scenes!!”
“Am coming bro! Let me just switch off my Magi device”
“Are you being serious!? You want to do that now!!?”
“Sorry, hehehe….”
At this moment, the world had drastically changed.
The scars of ancient wars had long healed, the skies no longer torn by divine light or chaos storms. Where once Aetheris trembled beneath gods, it now thrived beneath mortals — mortals who inherited their will.
Towering crystal cities now floated above vast landscapes of rebalanced mana veins. The oceans shimmered with artificial auroras — a byproduct of the world’s reconstructed ley lines. Airships, powered by harmony between Qi, magic, and science, drifted lazily between nations.
This era was known as The New Aetherian Age, and its crown jewel event was unfolding right now in the heart of Eldoria —
the Dawn of Conquest.
A stadium larger than the Grand Arcanum itself pulsed with roaring life. Holographic banners of light displayed the sigils of the three great races — Human, Elf, and Beastkin — each etched in luminous runes that glowed across the horizon.
Millions filled the stands, while countless more watched from every city, mountain, and floating isle.
The air hummed with excitement.
“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome!”
The announcer’s voice boomed through the runic amplifiers.
“To the long-awaited Dawn of Conquest! A test not of bloodline alone — but of will, wit, and worth!”
Cheers erupted like thunder.
Hovering platforms extended over the arena’s core, and the participants were beginning to step forward — each name whispered in anticipation before it was shouted in admiration. Especially the representative of the Human race which attracted the most attention.
—
From the west gate, a tall boy emerged, his silver hair streaked with faint traces of black. His calm expression and sharp eyes carried a presence that made even veterans stiffen.
“From the Human Dominion — Ares Maxwell, son of Kelvin the Chaos King, Chancellor of the Pacesetters Academy and Eirana, the queen of the Nullcarvers and the last Juggernaut of the previous generation!”
A roar followed his introduction. The boy gave a respectful nod to the crowd, though his gaze stayed fixed ahead, toward the distant horizon. There was no arrogance in his step, only quiet resolve — the same kind his parents once bore in battle.
—
Next came a figure cloaked in deep violet armor, her movements smooth and powerful — the gleam of her gauntlets like moving shadows.
“Representing the Juggernauts and the Nullcarvers — Gwen the Rogue prodigy!”
The crowd thundered again. Rumors said she possessed the perfect balance between Qi and mana — a feat even her queen, Eirana, never achieved.
—
From the same gates emerged another prodigy — slender, graceful, his golden hair a familiar hue to the crowd.
“The son of Guinevere and Rodriguez — Luthen Greycloak!”
Magic flared beneath his feet as the young boy bowed politely, his voice calm and noble. He had inherited his mother’s fire and his father’s devouring magic— and his smile told the world he knew it.
—
Two more appeared from the human delegation:
A girl clad in azure armor, with twin blades hanging at her waist — her aura reminiscent of light and frost.
“Clara Frostveil, daughter of Ethan and Charlotte!”
And beside her, a quiet boy with mismatched eyes — one gold, one gray.
“Nero Grey, the adopted son of the Elemental King and a pillar of the Pacesetters Academy, Morris Grey!”
Their steps matched perfectly, their energy radiant. The crowd whispered of how Morris trained them both personally — how they were said to rival the champions of old academies.
—
Then, a hush fell.
A strange ripple coursed through the crowd as the final participant stepped out.
She was young — perhaps sixteen — yet her presence silenced even the loudest cheers. Her long silver hair shimmered like molten light, and her eyes… they were golden, yet within them danced constellations that shifted like flowing rivers.
She wore no crest, no sigil — only a simple white cloak that fluttered behind her as if obeying unseen wind.
“And finally…” the announcer’s voice trembled slightly, “the one who has drawn whispers from across the lands — Hinata.”
The silence deepened. The audience held their breath as the whispered silently amongst themselves.
“Hey, do you know that it is rumored that she is… to be the daughter of Kaelen, the God of Eternity, and Lila, the Goddess of Sight.”
“What!! No way!”
A collective gasp ran through the stands.
Hinata raised her head gently, her gaze turning skyward as though she were staring at something beyond the clouds — beyond the veil of reality itself.
For a fleeting second, the entire arena went still.
The wind froze.
The magic circles beneath the contestants flickered, as if responding to her presence.
Then, faintly, the sound of chimes — soft, divine, and nostalgic — swept across the stadium.
Ares Maxwell, standing nearest to her, felt his Chaos aura tremble — not in fear, but in recognition.
“That sound…” he murmured. “It’s—”
Hinata smiled faintly. “Eternity. Watching.”
—
High above the arena, the clouds parted.
Two streaks of radiant light — one golden, one silver — shimmered faintly in the sky, visible only to those with awakened mana senses.
Ares, Luthen, Clara, Nero, Eirana, and Hinata all looked up instinctively.
In that silent gaze shared among them, none spoke, but all felt it.
the weight of legacy, the bond of generations, and the beginning of something entirely new.
—
“Contestants!” the announcer cried, his voice nearly drowned by the renewed roar of the crowd.
“The Dawn of Conquest begins now!”
Runic seals activated beneath the competitors, summoning holographic battlefields that spanned elements and dimensions.
The crowd screamed in delight, nations waving their banners in a sea of color.
And through it all, as the world watched its new generation of prodigies take their first steps into legend, the twin lights in the heavens shimmered softly — as if proud.
Far beyond mortal comprehension, in the endless halls of Eternity,
two divine figures stood side by side — Kaelen and Lila — watching quietly, their hands intertwined.
“They’ve come far,” Lila said, her voice tender.
“Farther than even we imagined,” Kaelen replied, his eyes glowing faintly with warmth.
“Aetheris breathes again… and dreams anew.”
Their gazes followed the young girl below — Hinata — her silver hair dancing under the radiant light.
“Do you think she knows?” Lila whispered.
Kaelen smiled, a soft, knowing curve of his lips.
“She doesn’t have to. Her heart already remembers.”
Lila leaned her head on his shoulder, smiling through her tears.
Below them, the new dawn blazed.
The world had turned.
And so began the age of Eternity Reborn. But not long after, Lila asked Kaelen a question that brought a reminiscing smile on his face.
“Kaelen, we have achieved our dreams right?”
And after a short while, Kaelen answered while looking at the participants of the Dawn of Conquest back in the land of Aetheris about to begin their battles.
“Seems like we have.”
And here comes the end of the novel!! (^3^♪
