Chapter 401: Chapter 401 Versebender

After reaching the auction house,

Hulina glanced at him, nodded with a smile, and then raised her hand. A projection of a weapon appeared floating in front of them.

It is a long tool with a dark black handle and a white multi-color reflective brush, as if made from colorful diamond threads.

Lin Lee’s eyes brightened looking at its design; he felt more and more attracted to it.

“This is the ultimate realization tool known as Versebender; it’s number eighteen in the top weapon sequence. Recently the true owner of this pen died in a special chaos field, and this tool is lying there ownerless.”

Hulina spoke while introducing it, and then the projection changed; the owner image appeared in front of him along with the possible location of the chaos field.

Lin Lee raised his brow, looking at the blue humanoid lizard shape with inexplicable word runes on his whole body, and then he asked thoughtfully,

“Is it the creation pen? If it is, then it is of no use to me. Also, what is a special chaos field?

Hulina was startled and then shook her head and replied with a smile,

“Don’t compare it with something simple like creation, although creation power is rare, but it’s not unique to be able to take the top spot in weapons sequence alone; this tool has the power to bend reality using multiple rules besides creation as the user wants. You can create, copy, realize, anything and almost everything except other unique rule-based items.”

After speaking, she glanced at the silent Lin Lee and added, “Also, you asked me about special chaos fields. Special fields are realms created by strong lords and kings in order to store their inheritance.”

Lin Lee was startled and then became thoughtful. ‘Special chaos fields means secret realms in the immortal civilization; very well, it’s becoming interesting.’

He thought intriguingly and then realized something and asked hesitatingly,

“You said the owner of this tool died in the special field. What if there is huge danger inside and some strong people of ancient divine being or divine lords?”

Hulina shook her head and replied, “Each special chaos field has its own rules set by the owner; the majority of chaos fields allow low-level divine beings inside except some.”

After speaking, she glanced at the projection of Versebender owner and spoke.

“This person is from the Blue Liz race. Our Hu clan received this hidden information because the owner of this race invited us to find that weapon, and they promised to consign it to our auction house. Also, the owner was just a primary divine apprentice, the son of the Blue Liz race leader. The special chaos field he invaded only allows divine beings with strength lower than divine masters.”

“First, your Hu family is not completing the task on their own because they don’t believe the blue Liz race, as this information can be fake or a trap set for the Hu family. Second, even if the information is true and a stray expert like me gets the tool, then it won’t be hard for your family to snatch it away from me and silence me. At the same time, your Hu family can claim that they didn’t get the tool; instead, someone else got it in order to divert the covetous eyes of the blue Liz race’s blame.”

After speaking, he glanced at the Hulina’s dazed expression and added with a smile, “Am I right?”

While speaking, she waved her hand, and countless projections appeared with order requirements given by the customers.

Lin Lee jotted down the information and then received the materials and half payment.

“See you later, Miss Hulina,” He waved his hand and left the meeting room relaxedly amidst the complex expression on Hulina’s face.

Outside the auction house,

Lin Lee stopped and glanced at the auction building behind him, then shook his head and walked toward his residence.

“She is really a bitch. I know such a routine. Far away in the chaos expanse,

Lin Lee appeared in the city known as Dark Road, looking at the dark buildings and streets around. Even the majority of creatures around have dark skin and complexions.

He observed the scenery around him and then raised his bracelet; a map projection appeared in front of him.

“Well, it’s not that far from here, but I have to change my appearance before venturing into that special chaos field,” Lin Lee muttered thoughtfully and then walked forward toward the exit of the city.

After a while,

A cubic-shaped object passed through the chaos and passed through the chaos mist and stopped in front of a huge floating island.

Lin Lee walked outside from the cubic ship and waved his hand. The ship compressed and disappeared in his hand; it was stored away by him inside the Dao book.

‘That is the entrance of the secret realm. This place is under the control of the Blue Liz race. It won’t be easy for me to venture inside the secret realm directly. Anyway, I am prepared.’

He thought and then activated the golden star in his soul and muttered,

“Teleport me inside this special chaos field, a safe place without any creature nearby,”

Instantly, a golden luster flashed on his soul, and a golden layer covered his whole body surface outside.

A golden spark flashed, and he disappeared, leaving behind golden particles flickering and dissipating in the middle of the void.
