My Celestial Ascension - Chapter 864
Chapter 864: Emma’s Breakthrough
Xi Meili burned the corpses of Zephar and Nerion with her divine flame, and in less than a second, their bodies turned to dust—erasing their existence from this world completely.
After their deaths, the Silver Eagle suddenly became unstable, letting out a wild, ear-piercing screech as though it had gone mad.
Screeechhh!
Its terrifying roar echoed across the entire Elven Kingdom, releasing a wave of violent Mana that blanketed the land in an instant.
The elves residing in the kingdom grew panicked as soon as they felt the overwhelming pressure. It was monstrous—so oppressive that many found it difficult to even breathe beneath its crushing force.
“What in the world is happening this time? Did the Silver Eagle decide to attack us?!”
“This is the end for us…! I have never felt such a malicious presence before in my entire life!!”
“I hope our Queen can defeat that monster! Or else, our Kingdom will be destroyed!!”
The council members whispered among themselves in panic, their voices trembling with fear and concern for the safety of the Kingdom.
They were certain the Silver Eagle was no ordinary overgrown magical beast. Its strength far surpassed anything they had encountered before.
Even an SS-ranked magical beast could not emit such a terrifying presence. This Silver Eagle was clearly a monster above SSS-rank—that much was clear.
The suffocating pressure was unbearable, like being dragged underwater. Many young elves lost consciousness on the spot, unable to withstand the sheer force pressing down upon them.
“This damn bird! How dare it cause such chaos in my kingdom!” Mireya muttered through gritted teeth, her eyes turning icy cold as she glared up at the raging Silver Eagle.
Suddenly, the Silver Eagle’s massive body began to glow with a blinding white light. In the next moment, thousands of razor-sharp feathers shot toward them at incredible speed.
“Watch out! These are dangerous!” Yuan shouted at Kitsura, Angela, Vrasha, and Aisha with urgency in his voice.
Before the deadly feathers could reach them, Yuan instantly released his Qi, forming a shimmering barrier that deflected every feather effortlessly.
The power of his Qi shield was immense—none of the Silver Eagle’s attacks could penetrate it, saving Kitsura, Angela, Aisha, and Vrasha from certain death.
Scheeechhh!
The Silver Eagle roared again, its cry shaking the air as it beat its colossal wings. The furious gust of wind it produced was meant to blow Yuan and his wives off the ground, leaving them vulnerable.
Unfortunately for the beast, Yuan and his wives stood firm, their feet rooted to the ground like unshakable mountains.
The powerful wind did nothing to them. This only enraged the Silver Eagle further, and it launched another barrage of feather attacks.
Tens of thousands of razor feathers flew toward them, each magically enhanced—terrifyingly sharp and deadly.
Yuan stepped forward calmly as the storm of feathers sliced through the air toward him.
He halted, expression unreadable, and looked up at the Silver Eagle with a faint, confident smirk.
“I wonder how a Silver Eagle would taste… it certainly looks delicious,” Yuan muttered under his breath, barely audible.
“An SSS-rank magical beast… normal attacks might wound it, but won’t kill it,” he thought, pausing and exhaling slowly. “It seems I must get serious.”
“Well, I should test the limit of my Sword Aura—will it be enough to fell this massive bird?” With that he gripped the hilt of his sword and raised it high.
For a heartbeat his eyes burned with golden light. The blade hummed, and a chilling, potent Sword Aura wrapped the sword, sending a shiver through everyone nearby.
The Silver Eagle narrowed its eyes as it sensed the change. For a split second it trembled at the danger it felt.
All the feathers on its body bristled. Its blue eyes flashed red with fury as it fixed its gaze on Yuan.
“It’s time for you to die, you damn bird…” Yuan muttered, then unleashed a devastating strike—his sword empowered by that roaring Sword Aura.
The Silver Eagle tried to evade, but it was too late. In the next instant the great beast was cleaved in two. Its massive body fell from the sky, smashing into the ground and raising a choking cloud of dust.
Blood and entrails scattered across the courtyard as the carcass struck the earth, painting the ground crimson with fresh gore.
Turning to his wives with a broad grin, Yuan asked, “So—what do you all think? Will it taste good?”
“I have no idea… I’ve never heard of anyone eating a Silver Eagle before. They’re rare—found only in legends of the High Heaven,” Anna Grace replied, puzzled.
She stepped close, wrapped her arms around his neck, and smiled. “But if you want, we can certainly try and find out how it tastes after we cook it.”
“I’d definitely like to taste it,” Xi Meili said, eyes sparkling as she looked at the Silver Eagle, a thin line of drool at the corner of her mouth.
Yuan shook his head with a small sigh. Xi Meili always reacted to food like this—she loved every kind of dish.
Shortly after, Mireya ordered servants to clean and butcher the beast; they carried the meat to the palace kitchen while Mireya and the others went inside.
Some time later, Yuan and his wives tasted the Silver Eagle meat for the first time and were surprised at how delicious it was.
“This is amazing! It tastes incredible!” Xi Meili moaned as she devoured a large piece, hands full and face gleaming with delight.
“It’s hard to believe a Silver Eagle would taste so good,” Mireya said with a broad smile, savoring another bite.
After the meal they settled in the palace living area, the mood turning serious as they considered the consequences of killing Zephar and Nerion. The gods would surely be enraged when they learned of it.
“The death of those two idiots will cause quite the stir in High Heaven… the gods will come after us for sure,” Valeria said, her tone firm and weighty with truth.
“They’ve already sent people—we shouldn’t be surprised if more come after us,” Julie added, nodding.
“Although they pose no immediate threat to us, their arrogance will be irritating to hear,” Rose said, her face showing clear disdain for those self-proclaimed gods.
Yuan listened quietly, holding Anna Grace close on the sofa. He fondly stroked her hair and kissed her on the forehead, which made her smile softly.
“There’s no need to worry about those fools. If they actually come, we’ll face them—simple as that. We’ll cut through any trouble with our swords,” Yuan said calmly, and everyone inclined to his confidence with a nod.
He rose from the sofa and looked at Anna Grace with a playful grin. “Come on—let’s go to the room and rest. We’ll talk strategy in private.”
At his words, Anna Grace’s face lit up; she returned his grin, stood, and linked her arm through his, her smile both affectionate and amused.
“I’m always up for spending time with you, Darling!” Anna Grace exclaimed as she hugged him tightly and kissed his face several times, smiling with affection. “Now, let’s go before anyone interrupts us.”
She took his hand and began pulling him along with her toward Mireya’s room, eager to share a private moment with Yuan.
Yuan could only smile awkwardly and follow her silently. He knew that once his mother became excited about something, there was no stopping her enthusiasm. He could only give in to her energy and go along with it.
Rose and the others exchanged quiet sighs as they followed behind. Meanwhile, Lily looked slightly disappointed, watching Yuan pamper her mother so affectionately instead of spending time with her.

Nyx entered the room where Emma was cultivating in complete silence. Her daughter’s focus was so deep that she didn’t even notice her mother entering.
Nyx sat on the bed, her eyes filled with quiet amazement as she watched Emma. A soft smile appeared on her lips.
“No matter how many times I see her like this… it never fails to amaze me,” she murmured softly to herself, careful not to disturb Emma’s meditation.
“Just where did she learn such a unique yet profound method to grow stronger? And where does its limit lie?” she wondered in deep thought. No matter how much she thought about it, she couldn’t come up with an answer.
She had tried asking Emma about it many times, but Emma always refused to tell her. Every time Nyx brought it up, Emma would simply say that some things were better left unknown — that learning certain things could cause more harm than good.
Moments later, the glow around Emma’s body intensified, and the curtains began to flutter as a gust of wind picked up inside the closed room.
The sudden scene shocked Nyx completely. Her eyes widened in disbelief as she witnessed the mysterious phenomenon unfolding before her very eyes.
Whoosh! A sudden burst of wind scattered the air around Emma, sending every document on the table flying in all directions across the room.
“What in the world just happened?!” she muttered in a low, disbelieving voice.
She was completely puzzled, her mind filled with confusion as she tried to comprehend what had just occurred.
Shortly after, Emma slowly opened her eyes, feeling a surge of newfound strength coursing through her veins. Her vitality had multiplied several times over, and her entire body felt brimming with energy.
“So this is the Second Level of the Grandmaster Realm… amazing!” she exclaimed with an excited look on her face as she rose to her feet.
Suddenly, she turned around, sensing her mother’s presence in the room, and saw Nyx sitting on the bed with a stunned expression.
“Mom?! When did you get here?!” she asked in surprise.
