Chapter 836: An Unexpected Guest

Yuan and Kitsura went through many rounds of lovemaking until Kitsura was completely spent, her body trembling with exhaustion. She couldn’t feel her bottom anymore, her whole lower half sore beyond words.

“I think we went a little overboard… I don’t think I’ll be able to walk properly for the next few days,” Kitsura admitted shyly, glancing down at her body, glistening with sweat and other traces of passion.

She turned her gaze toward Yuan and pouted. “It’s all your fault I’m in this state. You have to take responsibility—carry me to the bathroom and help me wash my back.”

“Is that so?” Yuan chuckled softly before pulling her into his arms, pressing her close. He planted a gentle kiss on her cheek and whispered, “Why wouldn’t I help my wife? Of course I’ll wash your back.”

“That’s more like it. You’d better take responsibility for your actions.” Kitsura grinned widely before resting her head against his chest, listening to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.

‘So warm… so peaceful… It feels wonderful to lean on a man like this,’ she thought with a faint smile, her eyelids slowly drooping closed.

Yuan wrapped his arms around her, holding her with quiet tenderness, a smile tugging at his lips. After a few moments of calm, he scooped her up from the bed and carried her into the bathroom.

There, he gently washed her back, a small but thoughtful gesture to show his appreciation for his new wife and to make her feel cherished.

Afterwards, Yuan dressed her in a fresh set of clothes, even taking the time to gather her long hair and tie it into a neat bun. The elegant hairstyle made her look stunning, highlighting her regal beauty.

Through his many relationships, Yuan had picked up countless little skills—and styling hair was one of them. He always wanted his wives to feel beautiful and unique in their own way.

Kitsura was pleasantly surprised. Yuan truly seemed capable of everything: from giving massages, to pleasing her in bed, to even tying her hair with perfection. His strength in bed had left her unable to sit properly, her bottom still sore from the night.

‘With that insane drive of his, it makes sense he has so many wives… And on top of that, he’s so handsome. No wonder so many women have fallen for him,’ Kitsura thought as she leaned her head gently against his shoulder, smiling softly.

“By the way, haven’t you noticed something different about your body, Kitsura?” Yuan asked suddenly, a smile tugging at his lips.

“Strange? Aside from feeling sore d-down there…” Kitsura trailed off, her expression tightening. She closed her eyes and tried to sense her body with her mana—but found herself unable to.

Kitsura tried once more to sense her mana, but it was useless. It was as though her mana had completely vanished from her body. Even more shocking, she couldn’t feel the flow of mana outside her body either.

Her eyes widened at the realization, her face pale with disbelief.

‘What is happening to me?’ Panic welled up in her chest, leaving her trembling.

“What’s happening with me?! Why can’t I sense mana anymore?!” Kitsura cried out, her voice filled with fear.

Yuan chuckled softly, pulling her back into his embrace. His lips brushed against her ear as he whispered, “Calm down. Nothing is wrong with you. Take a deep breath and steady yourself.”

“O-Okay… I’ll try.” Kitsura nodded shakily and began inhaling and exhaling deeply, struggling to calm her racing heart.

“That’s it… good. Relax. I’ll explain everything to you, so don’t worry,” Yuan said as he hugged her tighter, one hand gently cupping her generous chest to comfort her.

Once she regained her composure, she looked at him with serious eyes. She wanted answers—real answers.

“Alright, I’m calm now. But explain it to me. Why can’t I sense my mana anymore?” Kitsura demanded, her brows furrowed in expectation.

Yuan nodded and began to explain patiently. He spoke about the truth of cultivation, the path to immortality, and the transformation that began once she shared herself with him.

As Kitsura listened, her eyes widened with every word. It was as though her whole life she had been trapped at the bottom of a well, and now, for the very first time, she was gazing at the vast sky above.

Every word Yuan spoke drew her deeper. Curiosity replaced her panic, and she began to fire questions at him—about cultivation, about immortality, about the unimaginable strength such a path could bring.

Yuan could only smile as he answered each one, patiently quenching her thirst for knowledge. Finally, he selected a cultivation technique that suited her perfectly.

When he placed it in her hands, he leaned in and kissed her softly on the lips. The kiss lasted only a few seconds, but it left Kitsura’s heart racing.

As their lips parted, Yuan spoke gently, “This is the cultivation technique I’ve chosen for you. It’s powerful—ancient—and if you cultivate diligently, it will let your strength rise quickly.”

“Amazing…!” Kitsura exclaimed with sparkling eyes. “I can feel its weight… and this mysterious aura… so ancient, so profound!”

She clutched the technique tightly, her excitement unrestrained.

Yuan kissed her one last time before rising from the bed. With a smile, he said, “You should focus on learning the technique immediately. The sooner you start, the faster you’ll grow.”

“Alright. I’ll do as you say, Yuan.” Kitsura nodded immediately with a bright smile before settling into a lotus position.

“I’ll take my leave then. Focus on learning the technique in the meantime,” Yuan said with a smile, putting on a fresh set of clothes before leaving the room.

Once he was gone, Kitsura opened the cultivation technique, her eyes gleaming with excitement as she began to study it carefully.

—

Meanwhile, an ogre approached the border of the Elven Kingdom. The moment the guards spotted him, they stiffened with alarm and quickly reported the intrusion to the Elven Council.

“State your business! Why have you come to our kingdom?” one of the Elven warriors demanded, his arrow drawn and aimed steadily at the ogre.

“I’ve come to deliver a message to Vrasha, who entered your kingdom a few days ago. It’s an urgent message from our tribe’s leader—Lord Malgar,” the ogre said firmly, standing tall and proud before the gate.

The elves exchanged uneasy glances, brows furrowing at the unfamiliar name.

“And where exactly does this person live in our kingdom? Do you even know?” another guard asked suspiciously, narrowing his eyes.

“I do not,” the ogre admitted. “But I know this—she now lives with a human named Yuan. After all, Vrasha has married that human.”

“Vrasha…?” one of the elves muttered, the name stirring a faint memory. His expression suddenly froze, realization striking him like lightning. His eyes widened in disbelief as a dreadful image surfaced in his mind.

He swallowed hard, his voice trembling as he asked, “By Vrasha… are you referring to the ‘Crimson Vrasha’? The one who slaughtered an entire battalion of the Dragon Blood Tribe’s warriors—alone?!”

“Oh? It seems you’re well informed.” The ogre raised an eyebrow and grinned broadly. “Indeed. I speak of her. She is here in your kingdom, and I must deliver this message to her.”

“I see…” the captain of the Elven warriors sighed softly before nodding. “Since you say she is with a human named Yuan, then she must indeed be staying at the Royal Palace.”

He turned to his men and gave the order. “Open the gate. Let him through.”

Once the ogre stepped inside, the captain of the Elven warriors approached him with a cautious smile tugging at his lips.

“Follow me. I’ll escort you to the Royal Palace. But keep in mind—we won’t tolerate even the slightest act of violence within our kingdom,” the captain warned with a firm look before signaling him to come along.

A short while later, the two arrived at the Royal Palace. The captain informed the royal guards of their arrival, but the guards made them wait outside. One of them hurried inside to seek permission, for no unknown ogre could be allowed to step into their sacred palace without their queen’s approval.

—

Inside, Anna Grace and the others were enjoying tea together, chatting idly to pass the time. With nothing pressing to do besides cultivation, they had grown restless.

“Mom, how do you think Mireya will react when she finds out that her dear aunt decided to become Yuan’s wife while she was away handling kingdom affairs?” Lily asked with a mischievous smile, already picturing the scene.

Anna Grace chuckled softly. “She’s perceptive. Perhaps she already expected something like this to happen, knowing darling’s behavior.”

“In my opinion, she’ll definitely be shocked at first. But I doubt she’ll overreact,” Anna Grace added with quiet confidence.

“I’m still surprised that Aunt Kitsura actually made a move on Yuan,” Sylvia chimed in with a soft chuckle, taking a long sip of her tea. “It seems impossible for any woman to resist him.”

“Indeed. Yuan is simply too handsome for any woman to ignore,” Rose said with a gentle smile. “Even Lady Kitsura wasn’t an exception. She too ended up falling for his charm.”

“Agreed,” Leah added quickly, nodding her head again and again with a bright grin. “He’s just too irresistible.”

Their laughter filled the room—until a royal guard entered with a serious look on her face.

She bowed to Sylvia and reported, “Lady Sylvia, there’s an ogre waiting outside the palace. He says he’s searching for someone named Vrasha. What would you have us do?”

“There’s no need for alarm—he means no harm,” Sylvia replied firmly before turning toward Vrasha with a reassuring smile.

“It seems someone from your tribe has come looking for you,” she said. “Let’s go greet our unexpected guest.”

Vrasha rose to her feet, her expression thoughtful. “I wonder why one of my tribesmen would come all the way here for me… Perhaps something serious is happening back home.”

With that, she followed Sylvia and the royal guard outside.
