Martial Arts Worlds - Chapter 735
Chapter 735: Storm Is Coming!
At the deck of the newly camouflaged ship, a man’s eyes started glowing with a bright color.
“I sense him!”
He shouted.
Everyone turned their heads at him, and the Navy Vice Admiral Adamas tossed his cigarette over the railing.
“Sail onwards, men! I’ve also received a word that the navy is heading to the Downed Prison, so there is not too much time left!”
Adamas shouted and took a quick look at the sky.
It had turned cloudy as if a storm was brewing, and the sea had become quite restless as if something was about to happen soon.
‘The sea is restless. Some people think that the sea is a living thing with its own consciousness, and while I don’t really believe in that lunacy, there have been some strange coincidences.
‘For some reason, during every great battle in the seas, there is always stormy weather, and I smell that storm approaching.
‘It could be a coincidence, or there is a great battle about to happen.’
Adamas thought with a serious look.
Antigone sat cross-legged at the roof of the ship, her eyes closed, and she felt the wind growing stronger around her.
She softly opened her eyes, looked over in the direction of the Downed Prison, and looked very concerned.
‘I don’t like this one bit.’
…
Nightingale, the Great Port.
A fleet of navy ships were ready to leave, their flags fluttering majestically in the wind, and there was growing tension among the crewmen.
In that moment, a beautiful woman took over the command deck with the beautiful white cloak of the navy fluttering behind her.
“Vice Admiral Bella!”
The high-ranking officers saluted.
“Are we ready to leave?”
Bella asked with her usual soft tone.
After she started to work with her father, Karl-Michael, she received the honorary role of Vice Admiral in the Navy.
She wasn’t officially a navy soldier, but whenever she participated in the navy activities, she would have the role of Vice Admiral.
Her strength and leadership qualities were the reason for it.
She was only taking part in the navy activities so that her father would be happy enough to let her see her son more frequently.
These once-a-year visits weren’t just enough.
“This ship is pretty sick. So, where are we going?”
At that moment, Zeus appeared before her, dressed in sailor attire, and with a big smile on his face.
Accompanied by him, Messiah stood in the same navy attire with a more serious expression on his face.
He wasn’t treating this trip as some kind of vacation like Zeus was, as he knew that they were heading for a dangerous mission.
“I don’t like the two of you coming… but Father insisted.”
Bella said with a serious look.
She knew that her father was grooming these two young men to become powerful navy soldiers, but she was worried.
They were heading to the Downed Prison, which might become the most dangerous place in the sea for a couple of hours.
Especially if the Killer of the Red Sun was freed.
“We will be alright!”
Zeus said with a smirk.
While Zeus’ and Messiah’s strength was enough to acquire the Rear Admiral role, they were still very inexperienced, and thus they both only had Lieutenant roles.
If they did well in this mission, they might very well be promoted to Captain role.
“Let’s set sail!”
Bella shouted.
At the decks, a navy officer waved a white flag, and it acted as a signal for the whole fleet to start heading down to the open sea through Nightingale Pass.
“Where is grandfather?”
Messiah asked.
They didn’t know much about what was going on, as they were just woken up in rather a hurry and were told to put their uniform on before heading over to the port.
“He is going first. Martial Emperors such as Karl-Michael are capable of traversing faster than ordinary warships.”
Bella said and looked out of the window at the approaching storm in the distance.
‘The sea is acting up.’
…
Montrael, Martial Redemption Dojo.
Pitter-patter! Pitter-patter! Pitter-patter!
“Mmh…”
Waking up from her sleep, Aoi rubbed her eyes and touched the spot beside her only to notice that it was empty.
Her eyes softly opened, and she noticed that someone certain wasn’t here and remembered that he left.
She then turned around to lie on the other side and saw that rain was pouring down outside.
‘I checked the weather forecast and it should be dry season. I guess this rain is coming from the World Seas, as the weather over there is unpredictable.’
She lay on her back, looking at the ceiling, and let out a deep sigh.
Rumble! Rumble!
The thunder raged above the dark clouds, and it even managed to make the windows rattle.
“It sure is bad weather… Don’t be scared.”
She rubbed her stomach fondly, covered herself with the blanket, and closed her eyes.
She had no idea that when she wakes up next time in the morning, there would be news that would shake the entire world.
…
Downed Prison, Sixth Floor.
“Are you ready, men?”
Rochan shouted with a grin.
“Yeah!”
Everyone cheered loudly with a bloodlust look in their faces.
They had all gathered before the elevator, and at the front of all that, Kiernan, Julian, Rochan, and Renette stood.
“…”
Kiernan looked at the cameras in the phone, saw that now was the best chance to make their move, and he made his decision.
“Coppah, your turn!”
He shouted.
With a smile on his face, Coppah waved his hand and controlled the clones to enter the elevator.
They were looking just like the Martial Masters of the army, except that they were wearing the collars around their necks.
Kiernan pressed a button on the phone, and the elevator doors closed, taking them up one floor.
‘No turning back now.’
He thought with a serious look.
…
Downed Prison, Fifth Floor.
In the area close to the elevator, the prison guards were standing on guard, and at that moment, they heard the sound of the elevator ascending.
They turned around, and to their surprise, they saw that the elevator was coming up to their floor!
“People are coming from the elevator!”
They screamed loudly and pointed their weapons with frightened looks at the elevator. It alarmed every prison guard on the floor.
“The elevator is working for inmates?”
Prison Warden Mars said with a frown and ordered every prison guard to head over to the elevator.
‘It looks like we can’t just wait for the navy to arrive.’
He thought with an ugly expression.
In that moment, the elevator reached their floor, and with a familiar sound of a ding, the doors slowly opened.
