Magus Supremacy - Chapter 666
Capítulo 666: A Pleasant Surprise!
CHAPTER 666
“What’s wrong? Is there a problem?” Gunther couldn’t help but ask after noticing Grey scrunch up the letter.
Grey’s hands were tightly clutched, his jaw working repeatedly as he stared ahead with a blank, uneasy look.
He let out a controlled sigh before lifting his gaze back to the instructor.
“I need your help, instructor Gunther.”
Lifting an eyebrow, the instructor shifted in his seat, his attention sharpening.
“I’m listening.”
“I need to get back home. There’s been an issue.” Grey replied, his tone silent, composed and strangely rigid.
“Huh?” Gunther muttered as he leaned back, palms massaging his temples before adding carefully:
“You do know that no student has the permission to return home right now, right?”
Grey nodded, hands immensely clenched as if holding himself together.
“I do. But this is urgent.”
Gunther exhaled deeply, the sound heavy, before shaking his head in exhaustion.
“How long will you take?”
“I don’t know yet. It depends on how long the trouble I need to sort out lasts.”
The instructor didn’t respond immediately.
He simply rose from his seat, posture stern, gaze hardened while focusing on the mage.
“Just know this. I am sticking my neck out for you because I genuinely feel you are what we need to win this entire ordeal.
Even though my father owns this academy, that doesn’t mean I will casually disobey rules. Don’t make me regret this decision.”
Grey smiled faintly.
“I won’t.”
“Alright then. I will arrange a carriage that will take you home right now. It should be ready in an hour or so. The earlier you leave, the better.”
“Thank you. I appreciate this.” Grey uttered and performed a curt bow, one the instructor silently acknowledged with a nod.
Gunther walked toward the door, his boots tapping softly.
“Wait for me here while I get everything ready. I don’t want to waste time searching for you across the entire academy.”
With that, he exited the room, leaving Grey alone in the office. The mage stood quietly, eyes drifting around the instructor’s workspace.
“Yami sir, please hold on. I will be there soon. I will try my possible best to help you out of this trouble. I promise.” He mumbled softly, eyes shimmering with resolve.

A few hours later, Gunther finally managed to get the carriage ready and the Supreme Magus had been secretly escorted out of the academy.
Grey kept his head and face covered, walking beside Gunther as they slipped past the academy gates unnoticed.
Up above, at the highest point of the administrative block, a solitary shadow stood behind a window, silently observing as Gunther and Grey exited the gates.
The figure stayed motionless, eyes unreadable.
“Remember, don’t take long.” Gunther said as he stared directly at Grey.
The carriage waited nearby, horses stamping impatiently.
“I won’t.” Grey replied with a small smile as he turned around to climb in.
A firm hand rested on his shoulder, prompting him to turn back toward the instructor.
“Take care of yourself.”
This time, Grey smiled genuinely, without any hint of cynicism or mockery.
“I will. Thank you.”
Without wasting another second, he stepped into the carriage.
A loud crack from the driver echoed as the reins were snapped, and the horses surged forward.
The wheels rolled, speed building instantly as the carriage dashed ahead, leaving swirling dust rising behind them.
Gunther remained where he stood, arms crossed, eyes following the speeding carriage until it vanished beyond the distant path.
With a prolonged sigh, he turned around and walked back through the academy gates.

Far away from the bustling town, hidden behind a towering mountain, a solitary house stood in silence.
Along with the medium sized building that dominated the space, a modest looking structure sat quietly off to the side.
It had a neat pathway of freshly cut grasses that looked tender and well cared for.
The air was fresh and serene in this area.
The breeze drifted through with a gentle howl, rustling the blades of grass and stirring a few scattered plants around the compound.
Everything carried a peaceful feeling, almost as if the world slowed down here.
From the modest looking building, the sound of people shouting was heard.
It carried the unmistakable tone of individuals training, pushing their bodies and abilities to their limits.
Even the medium sized building had faint noises, not of people screaming from exertion, but of individuals going about their regular activities.
Inside the medium sized house, three females could be seen.
One was an older woman with long beautiful blonde hair.
The strands looked as soft as refined silk, cascading down her shoulder blades to her back.
Her elegant egg shaped face held a warm smile and her bright yellow eyes glowed gently.
The next female was a pretty young girl who looked no older than sixteen.
She had long stunning blonde hair similar to the older woman beside her. Her lively green eyes sparkled with excitement as she focused on the table.
The last person was a little girl who looked around seven.
Her purple hair wavered slightly whenever the breeze brushed past. A cheeky and childish grin decorated her face as she radiated the energy of a mischievous troublemaker.
These were the females in the house, and they appeared to be preparing a meal, chatting with genuine happiness.
“Hey Vanessa, pass me the salt, will you?” The older woman asked while holding out her hand.
“Sure thing,” the teenage girl replied.
She reached for the condiment and handed it over.
She was still paying attention to what she was working on when…
Knock, Knock, Knock, Knock!
The sudden sound pulled their attention to the entrance of the kitchen.
Confusion spread across their faces.
“Huh? Who could be there?” Clarice, the older woman, muttered quietly.
“It could be dad!” Millie, the youngest, shouted with pure excitement, and without any hesitation, she dashed toward the door.
Clarice reached out as if to stop her, but the little girl was already gone.
Vanessa quickly turned off the flames beneath the pot they were preparing and hurried out of the kitchen along with their mother.
They reached the living room just in time to see Millie pulling the door open with eager hands, only to reveal a young male standing there.
His hand was raised, ready to knock again, but stopped mid air as the door opened.
His eyes calmly scanned the room.
His red hair wavered lightly as the breeze slipped into the house and his gaze shifted across every figure before him.
The women stared in disbelief, their mouths slightly parted as none of them expected to see the person standing at the threshold.
The shock held them still for several seconds until a certain cheeky someone shattered the silence.
“Brother Grey!” Millie screamed joyfully and, filled with absolute amusement, jumped straight into the arms of the person in front of them.
