Magus Supremacy - Chapter 594
Chapter 594: Dumb Creatures!
Chapter 594
Another descendant too was in the middle of battle — Noelle. She was kind of struggling compared to the others, and that was because her weapon wasn’t built for close-range battles. The whip gave her range, but the demons always found a way to sneak up on her, trying to tear her apart before she could react.
“Ugh!” She groaned as her whip whistled through the air, slamming hard into a demon’s side.
Before she could pull it back, another demon appeared behind her with a vicious swing that rattled the air. She spun around with a roundhouse kick that clashed against the claw, producing a sharp metallic bang that echoed loudly.
Cracks spiderwebbed across the ground as her leg trembled from the impact. She immediately swirled Ki to her other foot, leaped off the ground, and smashed it into the demon in front of her, sending it skidding away violently.
Landing on her knees, her hair fell over her face, sticking to her sweat. She flung her head back sharply, whipping her hair behind her as she spun around just in time to see the demon her whip had struck earlier swinging its foot in a wide arc toward her head.
She crossed her hands in an X to block the kick, but the sheer power behind it sent her sliding backward on her knees, carving deep cracks into the floor.
“Damn it!” She hissed, feeling her arms tremble uncontrollably from the vibration.
“Fuck you!” She roared as she pushed off the ground with pure grit, moving even before the demon could recover from its strike.
Grabbing her whip, she yanked it hard, pulling the demon off balance toward her. She lunged forward with her fist ready to smash through its skull, but before she could land the punch, another demon came charging from the side and delivered a brutal kick to her ribs.
A loud crack echoed through the air. Blood burst from her mouth as her body was launched upward like a ragdoll. Before she could regain balance, another demon leaped high above her, casting a shadow over her form, and without losing its momentum, swung its leg down in a perfect axe kick.
All she could do was lift her hands above her head, swirling Ki desperately to reinforce her guard and…
BAM!
BANG!
The kick connected hard, sending her crashing to the ground with earth-shattering force. The impact echoed through the coliseum as a deep crater formed beneath her.
Blood trickled down her chin while dust and shattered stone filled the air, stinging her eyes and choking her lungs.
Before she could even catch her breath, the second demon sliced through the air, its leg dispersing the cloud of dust for a brief moment. Through the haze, she caught sight of the clawed foot closing in on her face with terrifying speed.
‘Damn it! My body aches… can’t even move on time,’ Noelle croaked inwardly, eyes wide and filled with despair. All she could do was watch as the demon’s leg descended toward her like a hammer about to crush her skull.

Meanwhile, Grey, on the other hand, was now surrounded by twenty demons. He was the first person in the coliseum to face such an overwhelming number at once, yet he didn’t fret, flinch, or panic. Instead, he stood there in the middle of the chaos, yawning loudly like someone bored of the show.
“Oh really?! You all now deem me as a huge threat? Kek!” He chuckled loudly as he stared at the demons with his sword in hand. His aura sparked with faint traces of lightning, the air trembling faintly around him.
In the next second, all twenty demons let out a collective roar and charged toward him with wild speed, claws gleaming under the dim light of the coliseum.
“Fine then, let’s get this show underway,” he muttered with a grin.
The moment they reached him, claws sliced through the air like blades, but Grey, whose feet were encased in lightning boots, shot forward. His movements were sharp and fluid, almost casual, as he dodged every attack streaking his way.
A claw shot toward his face and he instantly leaned backward, the sharp limb missing him by mere inches. Another attack came from behind, but before it could connect, Grey twisted his body and swiveled his head aside, letting the claw cut through the empty air beside him.
“Look up!” he shouted suddenly.
The demon in front of him reacted on instinct, glancing up just in time to see Grey’s hand raised toward the sky.
With a sharp downward swing, he unleashed a massive bolt of lightning that tore through the air and struck the demon directly. The creature screamed briefly before being scorched into ash.
“Sheesh! You all are dumb.” Grey sighed mockingly as he kicked off the ground, propelling himself high into the air to avoid a horn that shot toward his back. While midair, he suddenly allowed himself to free fall, body spinning faster and faster like an arrow.
Lightning began crackling around him, surging wildly until it cloaked his entire body. Then, with a thunderous BANG!, he slammed into the ground, releasing an explosion of electricity that sent streaks of lightning everywhere. The wave struck all the surrounding demons, stunning them for a split second.
Grey didn’t waste that moment. He bolted forward, his sword blazing with lightning, and plunged it straight into a demon’s head. The smell of burnt flesh filled the air. The other demons snapped out of their brief paralysis, but it was already too late for the one in front of him.
“Out of my way!” he snarled as he slammed his foot into the demon’s abdomen, hurling its body with immense force. It crashed into another demon, lifting it clean off its feet before both were flung aside.
Before he could reposition, another demon appeared from behind with a claw aimed straight for his face. Grey barely even turned around.
He tilted his head slightly, grabbed the claw midair with a single hand, and brought it to a complete halt. Then, in one sharp motion, his sword flashed, slicing through the demon’s limb.
Using the severed claw like a weapon, he spun around and smashed it into the demon’s head, cracking it open. Without slowing down, he formed a lightning arrow in his other hand and hurled it into another demon, the bolt piercing through its chest in a blinding flash.
Ducking low, he avoided a wild swing aimed at his neck. In that same motion, he shot his leg upward, landing a devastating lightning-infused kick that sent another demon’s body flying across the coliseum.
“Come on, why are you all so weak?” he said with a smirk, snapping his fingers.
In response, dozens of wind swords appeared high above him, whistling through the air as they came screaming down. Each blade struck with deadly precision, piercing through demon skulls one after another. Within moments, several bodies hit the ground with dull thuds, lifeless and scorched.
The Supreme Magus stood amidst the carnage, his eyes glowing faintly with lightning as the scent of burnt blood and ozone filled the air. The surviving demons growled lowly, trembling—not from anger this time, but from fear.
