Capítulo 331: The Dragon Clan Head Proposition
“Who are you?”
Shock, confusion, and curiosity could be felt from the emotion of the head of the dragon clan when he asked this question.
His eyes couldn’t peer through Draco; all he saw was emptiness.
When Draco heard the question, he smiled and said, “Draco Xandros.”
The head of the dragon clan frowned because this wasn’t the answer to the question he asked, and also, such a name he hadn’t heard of.
And to talk of clans, there was no big clan in his memory bearing the Xandros Clan.
‘Maybe his clan is a hidden one’He thought.
Draco didn’t say more than this, as where their thoughts carried them to is up to them.
Draco’s gaze lingered on the dragon clan head even though he felt no ill intent from him.
Shaw looked at Draco; all his thoughts dropped on one speculation: Draco might have come from that place.
He wondered how Draco was able to descend here.
His thoughts were rampant, a gleeful smile on his face.
If he could build a good relationship with Draco, then perhaps they might be able to enter there, returning to their ancestry.
Draco was unaware of the thoughts of the Dragon Clan head but surprised when he saw his expression changing like that of a chameleon.
“I wonder if Mr. Draco would like to visit our clan.” Shaw said in a welcoming tone.
Kelvin was surprised by his father’s attitude toward Draco. Was Draco’s background really that terrifying?
Draco thought for a moment before he replied,
“Ok, but not now. The Dragon Clan and I have a lot of fate together.”
“Then we would be expecting you. Take this amulet whenever you visit, crush it, and I will appear.”
Shaw said, bringing out a golden dragon-shaped amulet.
Draco looked at it, collecting it as he nodded.
The Dragon Clan Head waved his hands, departing with his son and the old man.
David, Ivy’s father, watched all of this in surprise. He was expecting Shaw to go rampant for him not fulfilling the marriage contract, even transferring his aggression to Draco.
Contrary to his deduction, Shaw was humble, even inviting Draco to the Dragon Clan. He didn’t even mention the marriage contract.
Ivy’s mother kept her silence since the beginning of the battle. She had tried appraising Draco, but what she saw was question marks.
From being able to tie her husband in battle, cutting off Aunt Shelby’s arms, and now the respect and humbleness of the Dragon Clan Head, her shock grew the most.
She also didn’t think that Draco was from Cerulean.
Looking at her daughter in his arms, she was relieved. Her daughter was in safe arms.
Aunt Shelby was already gritting her teeth in anger, confused about why the dragon clan head was that respectful.
Her sons found this unbelievable, their hearts racing in shock.
Draco seemed oblivious to the expression everyone had. He was acting lovey-dovey with the girls.
“Let’s head back to the city,” David said, taking the situation off his mind.
They all moved, heading back to Phoenix City.
When they returned, Ivy frowned, her eyes looking around as if she was finding something.
She turned to her mother, a bit confused, “Mum, why don’t I see my elder sister?”Even though they were twin sisters, she prefers calling her elder sister.
Draco also frowned; it was true. How could it be that Ivy’s blood sister wouldn’t greet her when she returned? When Ivy’s mother heard her question, she was stumped for a moment. Her gaze landed on her husband, asking for his decision.
This didn’t elude Ivy and Draco, who realized something was wrong.
Ivy panicked for a moment, holding her mother’s hands distressed, “Mum, what happened to her?”
Her father saw this, frowning as he said,
“Don’t worry, there’s no harm brought to her. We will discuss it when you settle down.”
Draco’s expression changed. Ivy’s sister was one of the Seats of Demons. From Ivy’s father’s attitude, he planned on not sharing the information about her before Draco.
Killing intent burned in Draco’s eyes; he hoped no harm was brought to her, or else.
Everyone felt Draco’s killing intent; the phoenix family were confused about what made him release it and were also vigilant at him.
Draco and the others were led outside the castle. They were many, and the castle wouldn’t be able to contain them.
The best option for them is to rent a house outside. And since it’s from the Phoenix family, it would be free.
He left Ivy for the family reunion with her loved ones.
He didn’t fear that Ivy’s father might try to separate them by sending her to another universe because he could sense where they were no matter the location.
By the time the sun set, Ivy had returned. Surprisingly, her father still hasn’t told her about what happened to her sister, but she knew that her sister was still alive and no harm was done to her.
When Draco heard this, he knew her father was guarding against him, knowing that Ivy would share the information with him.
But one question bothered him.
“What happened?”
\
Three days passed, and Draco had already familiarized himself with the Phoenix city.
It turned out that this star was called Volkoid Star, known to be the origin of all Volkoid and had the highest population of Volkoid.
Different races of Volkoid could be found here: the Phoenix Clan, the Dragon Clan, the Tiger Clan, etc.
Each Volkoid race had a paramount powerhouse that controlled the affairs of the star.
Also, there were humans and other races in Volkoid Star, but they only amounted to fifteen percent of the total population.
The races had a rough time fighting the Volkoid as humans and Volkoid, even though their hatred wasn’t that deep, they were still at odds with each other.
He also learned some surprising news. The Volkoids that descended on Cerulean and caused the apocalypse came from Volkoid Star.
No one knew why or what caused it. It seems like a natural occurrence. A large whirlpool appeared in the sky as it devoured the Volkoids, sending them to Cerulean.
