Capítulo 329: Battling Ivy’s father (3)
Ivy’s father and Draco continued to trade blows, with their fists covered in phoenix flame.
Their fire contained their respective comprehension of the fire law, using the basic way of fighting with it.
The surrounding forest had been burnt to ashes, everywhere filled with burnt scars.
The more Ivy’s father battled Draco, the more his shock increased.
Draco was on par with him, and he showed no signs of panic. His calmness made him unsettled.
“Nirvana Flame Burst,”
Ivy’s father muttered.
CHIRP!
The resounding chirp of phoenixes resonated in the surroundings.
Hundreds of small flaming phoenixes resonated around him, their gaze on Draco.
Ivy’s father wasn’t motionless. He waved his hands; a spear formed from his phoenix flame and flame law.
Draco stretched his right hand to the side; a flaming sword was created inch by inch.
Both figures charged forward at the same time with their weapons in their hands.
With the flap of their wings, they appeared in front of each other and swung their weapons.
CLANG!
Both of them took five steps backward midair. Ivy’s father waved his other hand; the flaming phoenix began to attack.
When Draco saw this, he didn’t dare take the attack lightly. Dave’s own was like child play before the one released by his father.
As the flaming phoenixes got close, he swung at them, slashing them apart.
With one cleave of the flaming sword, ten of them had been slashed into two.
But they didn’t disperse as they were expected to do but gathered as they continued their attack.
Draco was surprised by this, as he felt this was getting tricky.
Ivy’s father also attacked him at the moment he was caught in the flaming phoenixes.
He didn’t panic, just watching as the attack got close.
If he should think of things, there was no certain way he was going to lose this battle.
The buff given by the three-colored phoenix offsets more than fifty percent of his attack.
Also, with the Primordial Element that gives him control and creation of the nine elements, there are also buffs related to the nine elements.
And laws that are one of the strongest strengths of demigods, he had comprehended. Even his fire law was stronger than that of Ivy’s father.
Speaking of which, if he just released his three-colored phoenix bloodline, the strength of Ivy’s father would be suppressed.
Thinking of all this, he let out a sigh.
At this moment, the flaming phoenixes were upon Draco. He didn’t bother to look at them; his attention was on Ivy’s father.
With his sword, he thrust forward, parrying the flaming spear.
Everyone watched this heated moment.
Ivy’s father saw Draco didn’t bother to defend against the flaming phoenix; he shook his head in disappointment.
Everyone watched as hundreds of flaming phoenixes devoured Draco. A resounding explosion occurred, everyone in Phoenix City turning to their direction of the battle scene.
The explosion set part of the forest ablaze.
Everyone expected Draco to be knocked down to the ground, but there was no movement.
As the explosion settled, Draco’s figure was exposed.
Immense shock gripped everyone’s heart
They looked at Draco’s unharmed figure. No burns. No dents on his cloth.
Ivy’s father paused, finding this unbelievable.
Who is Draco? And where did he come from?
Now, he didn’t believe Draco really came from Cerulean. There was no way such a strong person would be from there.
And also he hadn’t heard of Draco’s name before.
“I guess it’s my turn to attack.” Draco smiled, raising his sword.
Draco’s flaming phoenix wings began to harden, his wings raised, slashing down like a sword.
“Fiery Slash.”
[Fiery Slash: Hardens the wings of a phoenix, increasing their sharpness and lethality. Damage increases by 10% (20x effect).
“Impossible.”
Ivy’s father saw this; he muttered in shock.
He was familiar with this phoenix skill, as it was one of the innate skills of a phoenix, but the lethality of Draco’s own was far stronger than what it was.
He could feel a threat in the attack. If not careful, he would be seriously injured under the attack.
Ivy’s father didn’t withhold anything again, releasing the true strength of his Cultivation.
A powerful pressure diffused towards the surroundings; the weather changed.
He didn’t hesitate using one of his strongest skills.
“Scarlet Phoenix Annihilation.”
CHIRP!
A scarlet phoenix descended from the heavens. It was made from crimson flames, exuding an aura of destruction.
The scarlet phoenix dived forward, clashing with the attack that Draco had released.
This caused a shockwave. Draco’s attack was destroyed by the scarlet phoenix, but the body of the scarlet phoenix had been reduced by two-thirds.
The remaining one-third continued its onslaught on Draco.
Draco saw this attack and was surprised; he didn’t waste time, copying the skill.
Ding!
[Host has successfully replicated a phoenix skill: Scarlet Phoenix Annihilation.]
Ding!
[Scarlet Phoenix Annihilation: A phoenix skill that produces a divine phoenix made of crimson flames dives forward, tearing through space like a living comet, causing absolute destruction over a wide area.]
Note: Damage of the skill depends on the strength, the bloodline concentration, and the Originat of the user.
Draco smiled at this. The flaming sword burned in the phoenix flame that was dancing around its tip.
He slashed forward, cleaving the scarlet phoenix in half.
But it still didn’t disperse.
One thing about phoenixes and their skill is resilience. Before a phoenix flame could be put out, it would either take a stronger flame or power to extinguish it.
Draco seems to have expected it, as it was reduced again by two-thirds.
He watched the scarlet phoenix drowning him but remaining unaffected and unhurt.
He smiled at Ivy’s father, “I think that would be enough to let out your anger.” He grinned and said.
Ivy’s father expression turned ugly for a second. He still couldn’t defeat Draco with that attack.
Even though he could release more of his strength, it wasn’t a battle to the death; he just wanted to teach Draco a lesson.
And he failed woefully in doing so.
A/N: Note that Draco’s attack isn’t as strong as Ivy’s father own. Note that he was defending most of the time, and also, due to the buffs, the attacks weren’t able to harm him. And for the fiery slash, it had a 20d effect, which made it able to be a threat to Ivy’s father.
A great harem novel to read with great twist and poem.
