Chapter 308: Forbidden Form (5)

“Eat this.”

The beam erupted.

Faster than lightning, faster than thought, it tore through space toward Draco.

Even the surroundings fractured—tiny splits forming in the very fabric of space itself, something nearly impossible to achieve in the void realm of space.

Such power…

The attack struck—

But what they witnessed next made every single one of them question not only their strength—but their very cultivation.

As the attack closed in on Draco, he didn’t flinch—not even the slightest twitch of his eyelids. Stretching his hand forward, all who watched were struck with horror and awe—the devastating beam compressed under the force of Draco’s hand alone.

The spectators, both friend and foe, felt icy dread crawl down their spines.

Draco’s strength had grown—strange, terrifying, and utterly reality-defying.

For Caleb, hope had vanished completely. Watching his master’s final attacks get reduced so casually, he knew—he and his mentor might not leave this battle alive.

He had witnessed everything between Draco and his teacher. Lady Luck, he thought bitterly, had never left Draco’s side. Even death had made him stronger—twice.

Vincent, upon seeing it, was both stunned and broken. His all-out attack—his trump card—was stopped with a single hand. He had killed Draco countless times, even alongside his disciples. Yet Draco returned each time, stronger and more unstoppable.

They all watched, breath caught, as Vincent’s attack compressed further. Shrinking… shrinking—until it became a small, glowing marble.

CRACK! CRACK!

Then came the snap—

Draco crushed the marble between his fingers, turning it into sparkling dust, drifting into the cold silence of space.

“Is that all you had? Such a weak attack,” Draco mocked, voice laced with contempt.

But this time, silence answered him.

Hearts thundered with fear—some could swear they smelled it in the very air of space.

Even the Seat of Demon was shaken, though not terrified. This wasn’t their master’s peak power—but it was still monstrous. And though Draco’s form was unfamiliar, they alone were not afraid. They knew him. And they knew he was capable of far worse.

“You came at me with all your might,” Draco said, a wicked grin stretching his lips. “Now, I’ll show you mine.”

The onlookers turned pale. Pity flickered in their eyes for the teacher and his disciple. Those once Draco’s enemies were already planning gifts for him—even if it meant draining their vaults, just to live another day.

Then… it came.

A swelling aura exploded from Draco—unstoppable, suffocating. Wind began to howl in space itself, slicing through reality.

The Forbidden Eye—Higan Yūgen—began to spin. Its speed was terrifying—no longer an eye, but a blur of wrath.

A massive circular rune flared beneath Draco, etched with ancient power. A moment later, it hovered behind him like a celestial shell.

The characters—Plunder. Copy. Clone. Forge—ignited with unbearable brilliance, as the rune began to rotate like a sun at the edge of madness.

Then came the Originat—raw essence of power—flowing to Draco’s fingertip in glowing streams.

He pointed forward, directly at Vincent. Originat spiraled inward, condensing into a curved, rotating sphere of destruction.

It looked small—harmless—almost innocent.

But it was anything but.

The technique had been plundered—from Romans, Rose’s father—and now, it was Draco’s.

He had refined it. Perfected it. Shaped it into something divine—and merciless.

“Let’s hope you can defend against this,” Draco murmured with a smile.

Vincent scoffed. There was no pressure—no instinctive fear—nothing in the aura to trigger alarm. He believed it was a bluff.

Perhaps Draco had hidden its true power, he reasoned. Still, his instincts would have screamed if it were truly dangerous.

So… he moved.

Striking the tiny sphere with all his might.

But the next moment, his world broke.

The attack phased into him—right through the Heavenly Armor.

“You are so dumb, Vincent.”

That was the last voice he heard before—

Oblivion.

BOOM!

A massive surge of energy erupted—his flesh pulverized, his very being obliterated. Not even ashes remained… he simply vanished.

Draco had embedded all four Forbidden Abilities into the attack. To his surprise, their combined force fused—creating an unknown energy. It was that very force that had erased Vincent completely.

Space cracked and trembled where the explosion had detonated. Draco’s gaze caught a beam of light darting deep into the void. He knew—it was Caleb. But he made no move to follow.

Xylara, Lilith, and the spirits had warned him: He couldn’t kill Caleb—not yet. The boy still had a purpose.

Draco had wanted to end him. He argued that Caleb would be a future threat—and he was right. Caleb, after all, was a DemiGod.

But they insisted. Caleb’s existence would serve to push him—to force his own growth, whether he wanted it or not.

Draco scoffed. He hated it… because he knew they were right.

Turning back, his eyes settled on the place where Vincent once stood. Gone. Completely erased from existence.

He shifted his vision to the World Core, his Higan Yūgen swirling ominously as he peered deeper. He wanted to investigate the strange familiar presence before the duration of his Forbidden Form ran out.

Then, in a blur—he vanished.

The onlookers, still frozen in horror, were left staring at empty space. One attack—just a finger—and his enemy had been annihilated.

Meanwhile, Draco reappeared in the vast emptiness where the World Core floated. He was surprised to see it nestled inside a naturally formed cavern.

Then he turned.

Floating there—just ahead—was a wisp of energy. It felt… familiar.

To his shock, the wisp radiated a plundering aura—a Copy Aura—blended with traces of Xandros and his own essence.

It stunned him.

Just as he moved closer, he felt it—a sudden heaviness in his eyelids. He tried to resist… but failed.

Darkness crept in as his eyes closed, and he slipped helplessly into the Dreamland.
